[[AIM Log]]

Nessiaing
Itzel had woken early from the den she had stayed in the night before. The sky was bright and the desert seemed welcoming to her. The white lioness moved light on her feet towards an area that she knew she would be able to find water.

The lioness was happy despite her memory deficiencies, recently though she felt like she was forgetting something more important than just day to day activities. She shook her head there wasn't much she could do about the feeling, really it wasn't like there was anything she could do about it.

Seaki
A pale leoparess was on a run, determinedto get to where she was going. Herhunting, though done for the day, gave her no reason to stop her swift trek. A bird had flown down, telling her of news, and she was on her way. However, she was ahead of schedule, and her bones were still tired from her earlier hunt.

She slowed and stopped. Perhaps she should not stop here, but cutting through the desert was the quickest way to the springs to the north. She panted softly, golden eyes glaring at the warm sun in trepedition. She had been away from her home too long as it was, and now a new Healer was leading.

She needed to get there. But... a bit of rest would be welcome.

Nessiaing
Itzel turned at the sound of someone else running and spotted a lightly colored leopardess running. She smiled, a new friend, she thought to herself, and the pale lioness moved around happily wondering where best to place herself to provoke a meeting.

She finally decided to call out to her, "HELLO" she yelled, wondering if she had said it loud enough for the other creature to hear. Itzel studied the leopardess wondering if perhaps she had met her before but well it wasn't like she was going to remember one way or another, she was sure the other would tell her if they had met before.

Seaki
Asha's ears flicked towards the sound of another's voice. "Hello?" She called back, white head swiveling. Ah! A lioness there. She stepped closer towards the light colored female. She supposed a white coat would be beneficial in a desert.

:May I ask your name?" She asked, nearing the one now noted as a lioness.

Nessiaing
Itzel smiled her name was one thing that she could manage. "My name is Itzel." she told her confidently. "Or at least that was what I was named a long time ago." the turth was the lioness didn't know the name her mother had given her, this was the name another gave her after she lost her memories.

"What is your name?" she asked the other creature. "I don't thin I will remember it but I would like to know it anyways." she told the leopardess

Seaki
Asha gave a small frown. That wasn't very polite, but she turned the frown into a small smile. "I am called Asha, miss. It's... nice to meet you, as it is." The leopard shiftened, a tilt of her head slightly noted.

Truth is, Asha was merely her Birth Name. Her Latin name was not one she gave outside of work, seeing as it was purely a work-related name within her pride. A title of sorts.

Nessiaing
Itzel noticed the other creatures frown and wondered if perhaps her statement had made the other one uncomfortable, "I am sorry if I put you off." she began, she has a friendly smile on her face, she was very use to explaining her condition to others, others that might not fully understand what was going on and how her condition might work.

"It isn't that I don't want to remember your name it is more that I am unable." she smiled, "I suffe from a condition that makes it impossible for me to remember new things, I only am able to remember things that I see day in and day out. For instance my name, I know my name, but thats because I say it everyday." she smiled and eyed the leopardess hoping she understood.

Seaki
Asha gave a small frown. "That sounds really sad," she sympathized lightly. "I couldn't imagine not remembering things. It would be hard for my job as well," the white ears pushed back sadly, and asha ducked her head a little, ashamed for thinking the white lioness was being rude.

"Have you seen a healer about that?" The leopardess questioned. Coming from a pride that revolved around healing, she pondered this, but she also knew that healing couldn't fix everything.

Nessiaing
"No I haven't seen a healer ever. I don't know what a healer is..." Itzel trailed off, "Oh no its not sad at all I live a brilliant life, I love to explore and meet new creatures, its amazing really everyday I get to learn something even if I have learned it before, life is never borning." the lioness smiled this was just a fact of life for her, she never let it get her down.

"Oh you have a job, what is your job?" Itzel asked she was intruiged.... she had never been in a pride before, or atleast she didn't think she had, she imediatly wanted to know more.

Seaki
Asha gave a small sad smile. She held a deep respect for healers and their work, but her mind wasn't able to comprehend all of the things healers had to do. Their job was more dangerous then that of a hunter any day. "Healers help those with injuries, ailments, illness, and pregnancies. Things like that. My Pride, we all have basic healers training, but some go specifically into it."

She tilted her head. "They take an oath as an Apprentice to never hurt anyone. My job comes in there. I am the head of the hunters. I didn't have to take the oath, due to needing to kill for the pride's nourishment. My job is to organize and execute hunting parties and issue first aid if hunts go bad."

Nessiaing
"That sounds really intersting." Itzel told the lioness, "I have never had a job or anythig likt that before.... I don't think." the lioness hated making statements that she couldn't be sure were true, but it was hard to talk otherwise.

"Wow that sounds very important, if it weren't for you your pride wouldn't eat.... eating is importnant." she said with a smile, the truth was Itzel knew how hard it could be to hunt and she couldn't imagine having to do it for a whole pride of creatures.

"I like to hunt, its fun." the lioness was rambolling now, she was comepletely unaware of it though.

Seaki
Asha gave a small smile and a nod before an idea popped in her head. "Perhaps you could come to the pride and one of the healers can check out whatever is affecting your memories?" Asha questioned aloud. It was theoretically a good idea, and it couldn't hurt.

She shrugged a little. "It won't be a garenteed fix, though. But then, healing is too confusing for me," the tritoned leopardess coinfessed.

She shrugged. "It's all up to you though."

Nessiaing
"I like that idea, it would be interesting to meet someone who might know what happened to me." Itzel said, she had no idea what happened to her in the past, she just knew she couldn't remember, she liked to think that it wasn't always this way, that maybe when she was younger she had a memory, that she knew her family.

Itzel looked around herself "Is your pride close to here?" she asked, to her she didn't spot any signs of a group living together but then again she didn't really know what she was loooking for either.

Seaki
Asha gave a small grin. Perhaps one of the healers would be able to fix it, or let her have a longer memory or something. She just didn't know. Perhaps the white female could pret to the god of Memories or the God of Pasts and regain her memories.

"It's relatively close. A few miles West-North West, and just about the pass there. The pride close to ours is rather violent, but they love in the mountains and don't come down. It's the same on both sides, though the Bird Pride is much friendlier I think. I've never gone too close." Asha informed the lioness.

"It was the only place I'ved found so many collective hor springs, though."

Nessiaing
Itzel smiled it was great to have someone who wanted to help her. "I think that would be ok." she said lightly. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be fixed, she was interested in knowing more about her condition but she liked the idea of knowing mroe about it.

She looked around her, her stomach rumbled, "I am sorry" she giggled "I am hungry, could I possibly hunt before going with you?" Itzel was fairly confident in her hunting abilities, she was sure she could catch something quick and then make her way to the others pride.

Seaki
"In any case, I hope we can at least tell you what's messing with your head," Asha rocked on her paws. "By all means, have your hunt. I could help you if needed, but I'm sure you're used to hunting alone?"

Asha sat in her spot on the soft redish sand below her paws.

Nessiaing
Itzel nodded "I will be quicker on my own I think, but thank you for your help." Itzel was a picky eater. She moved away quickly from the leopardess and hoped that she remembered where to fine the lioness when she came back. The white lioness disappeared through trees. Hopefully she would be back in no time.
