so earlier today the following three wrestlers were released from wwe
WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Shane Helms (Hurricane) as of today February 26, 2010. We wish Shane Helms (Hurricane) the best in all future endeavors.

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE diva Maria as of today February 26, 2010. We wish Maria the best in all future endeavors.
kinda sucks cause Gregory Helms was actually one of my fav wrestlers =/

They probably cut him to cut their loses with the whole slapping around gals thing since they're all "family oriented" now.

the reason they fired helms was apparently when he got wasted in public and arrested with Jericho which is kinda stupid if u think about it =/ Helms gets fired but jericho gets the world heavyweight title?

Viper632 the reason they fired helms was apparently when he got wasted in public and arrested with Jericho which is kinda stupid if u think about it =/ Helms gets fired but jericho gets the world heavyweight title? As cold of a decision as it is, Jericho puts people in the seats, where as Helms, not so much. And with TNA moving to monday night in about a week they need to keep their big name stars.

Hurricane Helms - Expected it for a little while now, wouldnt be surprised to see him allign with Shannon Moore in TNA when his no-compete clause passes.
Maria - It is going around she has other aspirations from Wrestling and this has been on the cards for a couple of months. rumours of business plans and a record deal circling the net in recent weeks.
Paul Burchill - again, been expected for a while ever since his ECW storyline. being an english talent dont be surprised if he signs with TNA and alligns with the British Invasion for a new angle and new aspect to a promising stable.

Archon of Aegis Dont_Fear_the_Reefer At least they made the right choices with Maria and Burchil. I really don't give a damn what they do with any Diva except Gail Kim, Micky James, and Beth Pheonix. Melina and Michelle McCool are important, too. And at the very least, Alicia Fox shows promise.

Helms in TNA will be AWESOME ... hes definitely got the athletic ability and the wrestling talent

PWInsider.com has confirmed that WWE has released senior referee Scott Armstrong. This has come as a big surprise to many in the WWE locker room as he was reportedly very well liked amongst everyone in the company. Armstrong joins Maria Kanellis, Paul Burchill and Gregory Helms as wrestlers released yesterday.

I'll give you Melina, she's come along way from where she was 2 years ago, but they have a tendency to keep her matches short so I just assume that it's because she's limited. As for McCool. I don't watch SD, but in the couple of PPVs I've seen her in recentlly, she was god awful making me wonder if she's even still contracted with WWE just because she's banging Taker.

Burchill I understand. Maria and Helms, dumb, DUMB descions to let them go. They were very talented and now WWE just lost more superstars to TNA, I garuntee it. I'm offically a TNA fan because WWE isn't worth squat to me anymore.
