 Damien paced back and forth nervously. Here he had gotten a random female pregnant that he didn't know. Soon he would be no better then his father. In fact from his memories he never saw his father and by the look of his mother's face, it was probably best left at that since he sounded rude. Still he paced back and forth nervously. "That's the last time I go to a valentine hangout thing." He hid his face in his paws ashamed.

 Sweet pea lay there watching as the young fox paced back and forth. she was happy he had stuck around. "It will be ok Damien." she said with a smile.she wished he would stop pacing he was making her dizzy. "is this your first litter of kits" she asked trying to start a conversation.

Damien stopped and blushed a bit. "Um...yeah...it is." He looked down. "I just don't normally do one night stands." He looked up at the female fox. He was a bit content that she didn't try and kill him for knocking her up. "Is this your first too?"

"yes it is my first" she said looking at him with a smile.she was a little ashamed as well but it was not his fault alone she chose to take a part of this. " i don't normally take place in those kind of things either but what is done is done" she said looking at him with her big ruby red eyes a little concerned as to what would happen next she didn't know if she was going to stay with him or not but that decision would be made in time. when she realized that her look was probably concerning the young male she smiled again.

Damien wasn't sure what to do. He didn't want to be like his father, but in his mind he convinced himself it wasn't so since he wasn't aggressive like he was and he did care what would happen to the kits and this fox. Even if it was or was not love. "So...now what happens?"

She looked at him when he asked her the question but she didn't know what to say at first cause she wasn't sure if she loved this fox she really liked him but she wasn't sure if she truly loved him " i don't know" she answered lowering her head and thinking about what to say "well do you want to be any part of these kits lives or not? now is the time to decide? i wont have them even know of you if you wish it is all up to you. i will raise them and care for them myself if you so wish." she said this in a tone that was kind but firm so he knew she was not trying to be mean in all reality she hoped he would stick around at least till they were grown and then leave if he so chose to do. she couldn't remember either of her parents so she didn't want that to happen with her own kits if nothing else she would be there. she smiled up at the handsome male again.

Damien sighed a bit. "Well...I really don't want to leave you since I would be no better then my father, but I don't want to force you to love me. That's where I stand." He shook his head. "How about we make it simple and say that I'll help you raise the kits. I'll fulfill my half of the bargain. After all, I wouldn't be much of a man if I ditched them. I don't want them to hate me." He said it in a half calm half sad tone. "I'm saying this because I don't want them to deal with what I have seen many foxes do. My dad...he slept with my mom then abandoned us like we were trash. So many foxes think its cool to sleep around, but what about the children?" He wasn't sure what he honestly wanted, but he didn't want to abandon the children due to his morals. Damien snapped out of his little past anguish experience. "I-I mean...I'm sorry...I'll be content to do whatever you want. Since you're having them...you should decide what you want to do with me."
He looked towards the river. "I just want them to be happy. It's the least I could do since I was never given the chance. I don't know what true happiness is. When your mom bursts into tears from looking at you, you begin to wonder what's wrong."

She looked at him and could feel his pain about what had happened. " i never knew either of my parents" she said a little sad" but i would love for you to be in their lives when the time comes. i would not them to not know there father. and it would make me happy to. even if we don't stay together as a couple we could still be friends right?" she said in a hopeful tone and cocked her head to one side.she hoped he would accept her offer of friendship she did like him but not necessarily as a mate but definatly as a friend.

Damien nodded his head. "That's fine and I'm sorry for being difficult." He wondered what type she was besides friendly. She definitely seemed patient. "So...you live around here?" He was trying to strike up a conversation even though his question sucked to him.

She smiled and shook her head "no not really im kida a wonderer, i tend to travel a lot i just found this place not long before we met. but i think im going to stay around here it is nice and so are you. like i said before i like meeting knew foxes and making new friends." she stood up a moment to stretch a bit.

Damien sort of smiled. "You're lucky then. You don't have to be tied to something if you don't want to." He watched her. "Although if you do dedicate yourself to something then it can make you stronger depending on what you choose."

"O i dont wander because i want to i wander because i haven't found a place where i am accepted to stay. i would rather settle down somewhere" she said with a sad turn of her head "but from the looks of things i will be now at least for a little while. where are you from originally?" she began to smile agian now as she waited for his answer

"I guess so...I'm just glad you aren't too upset by this. Most women get very defensive if they end up having this happen to them." He sort of smiled while looking down. "But that doesn't necessarily mean everyone's like that."

"there is nothing to get mad abut considering i put myseflt in the position for this to happen i can't blame you and i am honestly happy it happened cause it gave me the chance to get to know you and you are a really nice fox" she smiled as she spoke the last few qwords cause she truely was happy she had met him he was a really nice fox she was not just saying that even if she didnt love him she still liked him he was a bit low and deppressed like but that didnt bother her as much as it did most.
