They're boycotting Sonic 4, not Sega.
I understand what they're trying to do, but I still think they're stupid because Sonic 4 looks great.

So they don't like 3D, they aren't happy going back to 2D. Are they gonna have to make a game where sonic can only move in one direction and unable to do anything else? I mean if dropping dimensions of movement is what the fans were asking for instead of actually improving game play, that seems like the next logical step. Introducing, Sonic 0. A game where you can go right. No jumping, you just go right.
Maybe that will finally make them happy.
