Uh Oh, it looks like Pilot and Xbalanque's powers have switched! Pilot can now expire and refresh foods, while Xbalanque can control Electricity! Huh, looks like these Nutbars have really messed things up!
What Needs to be done:
The Kids need to find each other first: Either the Nutbar drags them together, or they manage to pick the other out in a crowd, if they know who their mix up is with! Decision Time!: Do they want to keep their mixed up power, or do they want their original one back? Now's the time to decide! (You might want to get in contact with the other person for plotting purposes, just a hint!) If they decide to leave it as is: Their Guardians come back, the Metaplot ends for them. If they decide they want their original powers back: It's game time! The pair of you have to convince the nutbars to switch the powers back. Can you bribe them with words? Do the nutbars make them play games for their entertainment before they decide what they want to do? Does the kid try to beat the nutbar until it gives in? No matter how it is done (and remember, this must be roleplayed!) the success and failure of the endeavor depends on the roll of a dice. Like Mini Game #1, reserve a post with a 20 sided dice roll and fill in your post depending on what happened! Once BOTH Nutbars agree to switch out the powers they do so, the Guardians return, and the Metaplot ends.
Here's the general breakdown of success:
1-5: The Nutbar has no interest in helping. 6-15: The Nutbar is interested, but wants something first before it decides. 16-20: The Nutbar is not only interested, but agrees to do it!
Things to Remember
Rolling a 1-15: You need to make another post, complete with another roll, to try and convince the Nutbar to do what you want it to do. The powers will NOT be switched until BOTH Nutbars agree to it. Meaning each Kid needs to convince their own! Once this RP is over, the Metaplot is finished. You may go back to your daily lives! The Metaplot in its entirety (New Skill Solo + Nutbar Kidnapping + Group RP + Mix up Fix) counts as one playdate towards the Growth requirements.

Listening to the blue haired lady and the things speak Pilot gave Nom-Nom a hard look, he’d better get his sparks back, Lappy would be sad if he didn’t. Giving a nod at her last instruction Pilot held Nom-Nom at arm’s length and asked, the robot clicking threateningly, “Where is the person I switched with?”
Nom-Nom just blinked shaking his head, “NOTHEREYET.”
“Not here yet? Whadda mean not here yet? I thought we were all here!” Pilot exclaimed giving Nom-Nom an annoyed glance, he had not noticed one of them leaving because of all the chaos. Giving a huff when all Nom-Nom did was give the same reply, though sounding slightly more scared, he decided to go ask the blue haired lady; she seemed to know what was going on.
Sidling up to her he gave a small tug on her pants he asked in his most polite voice, “Um, excuse me Miss but Nom-Nom says that my person isn’t here. Do you know where they could be?”

Switch was rubbing Ryan's back when the silver haired boy approached her, looking down at him curiously. His person wasn't here? Huh. Her head tilted and looked at the crew, humming thoughtfully. If all the children that were here were the only ones sucked into it, there could only be one person that this little one had switched with.
"You must mean Kay...I don't know where he is, but...he's not here." The woman sighed, raising a free hand to pinch the bridge of her nose. "I want to know where he is, too." She murmured in a worried tone. Almost as if on queue, the shop's door opened and Kay stepped in, cautiously looking around. He spotted Switch and squinted at her, trying to decide if that was really his Na or if it was the imposter.
Realizing it was Na, his real Na, the boy ran over and hugged her tightly; of course shocking her by accident with the new electricity powers. Before he could really do anything more, the nutbar that was above Switch pointed down at Pilot.
"THATBOYHASYOURPOWERS" It shrieked, making Kay look over his shoulder at the blue eyed toddler. After a quick look over, the Shaman boy grinned, letting go of his Na and waving for Pilot to follow him to a different part of the room; that place was crowded!
"So...this is your power then?" Kay asked, snapping his fingers and creating a bit of blue static that danced around. "It's awesome!"

Pilot gave her a worried look as she said that she didn’t know where this Kay was and from the tone in her voice Kay was her kid. Poor person. Pilot was about to open his mouth to thank her for her help when Nom-Nom went crazy, pointy at the opening door and shouting ‘THERE’ repeatedly.
Looking wide-eyed at the other boy Pilot gave a smile, now that he was here Pilot was sure it would work out, all they needed to do was convince the things to switch them back (It never occurred to Pilot that Kay might not switch back)
Getting Nom-Nom to be quiet by letting the robot shoot yet another rocket at him, causing him to give out one final whimpered’ there’, Pilot gave his full attention to the boy as he followed him. “Yeah! It is isn’t it. What’s your power?” Pilot asked in a soft voice, the boy was kind of scary in the overly enthusiastic way (Skulls and Snakes where cool so those didn’t faze him).

Kay was staring with his one wide, red eye when the little creature kept shrieking 'there' over and over...but when the little robot shot him, the Shaman started to laugh.
"That's a pretty awesome toy! Where'd you get it?" Seriously that was wicked! By this time they were alone, away from Switch and the rest of the crew; just the two of them, and their two nutbar creature things. Kay wasn't aware that he was 'kind of scary', and probably wouldn't have toned himself down if he'd known; why? They should get used to him!
"I usedta make things rot." He said with a grin, pressing his index fingers together and concentrating so much that his tongue was sticking out of his mouth. Slowly, he pulled his fingers apart, th electricity dancing between them like a Tesla coil. "Could bring 'em back to fresh too!" He said in a giddy voice, trying to make a ball of electricity in his hand now. It was rare for him, but he was concentrating really hard.
"Man, I love this power!" Kay laughed out happily, tossing a weakly formed ball of electricity from one hand to the other. This was fun!

Pilot titled his head at the question and looked around, trying to figure out where in the mess of the shop he’d found it in. Finding the pile he’d called it from he pointed saying, “Over there. It’s one of the few things in here that’ll actually listen to me, most keep snubbing me saying there waiting, searching and can’t be distracted.”.
Pilots face got a thoughtful look at the description of the power, it sounded like it could be useful in some situations. Of course he had no way of testing it, he didn’t keep food on him. “That could be very useful in situations where you find yourself without fresh food and would normally starve or making sure you never get sick from you food or making really good compost. But it’s kinda morbid if you think about it; you’re killing things and bringing ‘em back to life.” He commented after coming out of his thought.
Pilot watched with longing for his power as Kay played with it, it’d been gone for such a small amount of time and he was already missing it. He then gave a slightly panicked look when Kay commented on loving it, it now just occurring to him that Kay may want to keep the power because Pilot was truthful to himself and frankly electricity was so much more fun than rotting things and un-rotting them (At least that’s how he saw it having only experienced the power of electricity)

Kay giggled; so the robot came from the shop? Wicked! He gave the boy a thumbs up before shrugging. "Some of them talk to me, they don't have interesting things to say though, which isn't fun." He played with the electricity while the boy talked, absently paying attention. "It's pretty cool, Na loved it 'cept when it first happened...I dunno 'bout Morbid, but Na said..." Dramatically, Kay cleared his throat and pitched his voice, trying to Mimick Switch's, but failing miserably.
"...'Kay it's soooooo fitting, Shaman who can rot things'..." Shrugging like he didn't know why that was fitting, he continued to toss the little ball of electricity, once losing it with a hiss and a pop. Oops! When the ball disappeared, he looked at the boy, noticing the panic.
"You want it back?" The shaman questioned with a tilt of his head, though he looked sad at the thought of losing this...rather awesome power of his. "My name's Kay, by the way." Okay, it wasn't his real name, but really...who called him Xbalanque? Nobody unless he was in trouble, that's who.

Pilot gave out a laugh at Kay’s attempt at imitation and nodded in agreement with the statement. A shaman who could rot things was fitting, and that defiantly explained his comment about items in the shop talking to him too.
Pilot’s lips gave a small twitch as he watched the ball of electricity pop, he remembered how hard it had been to control when he’d first got it – the slightest bit of inattention and it either fizzed or exploded. His panic calmed slightly when Kay asked if he wanted it back, though he did notice the sad look. “I really would, I’d gotten used to having it and it’s so weird not to have the extra sense anymore.” He replied softly, a bit shy with asking to have it back.
“Nice ta’ meet ya ‘ Kay, I’m Pilot.” He said sticking out his hand, he felt a bit silly for not having done the introduction first like his Mom had always told him. (It was a pity that Kay didn’t tell Pilot his full name for Pilot would have given him the new nick name of Q feeling for some reason that it was incredibly fitting (Both in being in his full name and personality))

Kay was about to give the electricity ball another go...but it seemed the kid wanted his power back. D'aww, there was no point in trying to play with the power he wouldn't have for much longer! A hand scratched through his own hair, an endeavor that was met by an angry hiss and a bite from Nahual, who was woken up from a nap by the hair scritch.
"Ow." Kay said with a very tiny flinch, though he said it rather absently; he was used to getting bitten by now, he got it several times daily. "Pilot? Like, the Pilot of a Jet Engine, Pilot? That's an awesome name!" The Shaman boy seemed excited despite having gotten bitten (in fact there was a bit of blood on his hand when he lowered it). "Nice to meetcha, Pilot." He said with a grin, before turning towards the gray blob thing that was picking at it's own teeth, it's mouth wide open.
"Whattcha think, Buddy? Will ya help us out? Give Pilot his power back?" He simply asked the thing to help, didn't try to bribe or anything. But the Nutbar closed it's mouth and nodded eagerly, shrieking in joy.
"I'LLHELPILIKEHELPINGHELPHELPHELP" Well, that gave him his answer! Kay turned to Pilot, nodding towards Pilot's Nutbar; they still had to ask that one to help!

Pilot gave a worried look at Kay when he was bitten, was the snake posionis? When he seemed to not care he decided to leave it but the fact that it bit the boy it was attached to made him a bit wary of the snake. At Kay’s exclamation about his name he gave a wide grin, that was the first time someone had said his name was cool!
Turning to his thing Pilot gave it a steady look and said, “Well Nom-Nom? Will you help switch back our powers?”
Nom-Nom who had been sulkily glaring at the robot Pilot still had trained on it grumpily turned to Pilot and asked, “Why Should I Help You, Mean Boy?” In a tone that was the complete opposite of how he’d been before –it appeared launching all those foam rockets at him had upset him.

Pilot not sure how to deal with a grumpy Nom-Nom actually had to stop and think for a moment. “...If you don’t I’ll shoot you again?” he asked uncertainly, not at all like the threat it should have been.
Nom-Nom took one moment to look worriedly at the robot before sniffing and say, “That not make me want to help you at all.”

Pilot then considered offering it food but a quick riffle in his pocket produced nothing but wires, cogs, a screwdriver and some lint. Now slightly worried he looked around wildly, what could he use to convince his thing to help them change back?

“If I promised to get you some food later would you switch them back?” He asked finally, coming up empty handed for any other ideas but food.
Nom-Nom perked up at the mention of food and looked to be about to agree when he seemed to actually think about it for a second, “I don’t trust you mean boy. Food now or no deal.”

“B- But where am I going to get food from!?!” Pilot asked shrilling, eyes going wide as it settled in that because he’d been a little mean to the annoying thing that he might not get his power back and Kay wouldn’t get his.
“Not my problem, yours.” Nom-Nom said sticking out his tongue at Pilot before going back to sulking.

With the fate of his power at risk Pilot took a good long hard look around for anything resembling food but the only thing he could find was a bowl of rotten fruit, and he was sure not even the things where hungry enough to eat rotten food. He was bemoaning the loss of his power for all of one second before it hit him, didn’t Kay say that he could make food rotten or fresh. With a solution to his problem Pilot positively zoomed across the room and to where the fruit was. He wondered for a second if there was any particular way to activate the power or if it just activated before shrugging and decided to give it a shot and poking the rotten fruit.
When the fruit suddenly become fresh without any real effort on his part he gave a small cheer and picked up his precious prize, showing it to Nom-Nom who he was still holding tightly. “I’ve got the food, if I give this to you you’ll change our powers back, right?” he asked just to be sure.
“RIGHT.” Nom-Nom said staring at the food with a wide eye and his old tone of voice back. When Pilot then handed Nom-Nom the bowl he devoured it quicker than Pilot could blink and was then suddenly out of Pilots arm and instead was clinging to it as he tried to drag Pilot back over to Kay, “COMEONCOMEONCOMEON!” Nom-Nom shouted impatiently so that he could do as he was asked.
Happily going where Nom-Nom was dragging him Pilot gave Kay a thumbs up when he say the boy look at him for confirmation of getting his things agreement.
