This is an RP log no one but myself or Natty should be posting in here.

The sun was setting drawing the day towards an end. A soft cool breeze played in her long mane and tail sending the roses to rustle a bit. Turning she pointed herself so that less of her body would be affected by the breeze as she walked looking around so as not to find the only hole in the grass.

Abel paused momentarily to enjoy the sight of the sun setting. With a happy sigh, he continued traveling through the grass, his black habit brushing over the blades. At the moment, he wasn't aware of the other in the area as he leisurely trotted through the area.

Stopping to look upon the sunset as it played on the grass, she caught bits of the deer burgundy, orange, and even purples flashing in her otherwise white mane as the breeze spilled it out and about her, the length of it nearly hiding the red mass that was her body. A smile formed to warm her eyes as she looked out over the land. Peace was filled in the area or so it seemed it did. She was content. her travels had brought many a breath taking sight to her eyes but none so lovely as the setting of the sun.

The large stallion continued onward, red eyes glancing over the glasses on the end of his nose. Silver hair blew in the wind and black wings fluttered softly at his sides. Going deeper into the plains, he spotted a figure in the distance. Tilting his head, he was curious of to who it was. Figuring he wouldn't find out from his current position, he started to head off toward this mystery figure.

Her eyes were soon taken from the beauty of the sunset by movement in the distance. Ears perked she thought for a moment, wondering who else would be drawn to wander at this time of day. With an inward shrug, she whinnied a greeting, hoping the breeze wouldn't muffle it. Meeting others didn't seem to bother her.. even the kalona mare she first met upon coming to this land didn't frighten her though it did appear now that she looked back on it all that she could have been eaten. It was all part of the learning and danger of wandering she supposed so it didn't bother her.

Hearing the whinny, he whinnied back to her, long silver tail flicking behind him. Getting closer to her, he noticed her long mane and tail, covered in roses and smiled. It was beautiful, almost as lovely as the scenery around them. Finally, he came to a stop in front of her and bowed his head in greetings. "Hello there."

Smiling warmly, she nodded in return. "Hello, what brings you out here at this hour of the evening?" Of course she would cut to the point and start in with questions. It wasn't that she was rude, more like curious to know more about just about everything around her. Glancing back to the deep colors of the sky, she spoke. "Such a lovely sunset don't you think? not as lovely as some I've seen... but still breath taking. Truly one of natures most precious wonders."

"Hmm?" He tilts his head some, "oh, me? I tend to wander a lot and always lose track of time... but, looking at the scenery at this time isn't that bad either." He answered, smiling warmly too her. When she looked up, he followed her gaze and sighed softly. "Oh, I don't know. I don't think any one sunset is any better than the other. Nature's beauty is all wonderful."

She seemed to think about this for a moment before nodding. "True." She smiled in return. "I'm Shoshana, by the way. Most I've met just call me sho though." She tossed her head just enough to get some of her mane out of her face so she could make eye contact with him. "I didn't know there were so many others who wandered around and lost track of daylight." She chuckled some. "I seem to loos track of daylight all the time.. sometimes my feet just keep me moving till I'm in a new and strange land."

"It is very nice to meet you... Sho. I am Abel Nightroad, but you may call me Abel." He introduced himself, looking back to her. He chuckled softly. "Yes, I do find myself stumbling onto new land myself... some times, quite literally." He admitted, chuckling again, a little embarrassedly.

"I've done that... Once i managed to get tangled up in my mane and tail all at the same time.." She let out a rather melodious laugh the brought warmth into her eyes. "I can be quite the cluts from time to time.. I managed to get lost this past winter in the forest though.. Not too surprising since I had just arrived. "Shaking her head with yet another chuckle, she sighed. "Luckily for me that kalona mare helped me out a bit."

"Well... it's good to know that I'm not the only one with four left hooves." He smiled more, wings fluttering just slightly before resting at his sides again. When she mentioned receiving help from a kalona, he blinked in surprise. "One of those horrible breeds actually helped you?! That's a surprise. I mean, I try to treat everyone equally... but I've heard so many stories about Kalonas being a ruthless race, that I imagine it would be quite the task to do so."

She thought for a moment. "I suppose she really wasn't all that keen to helping me... but she did none the less. Looking back on it she possibly thinks I'm the ditsiest horse out there." She giggled some. "She was however helpful.. even if she did try to make it known I was part of the food chain.." She shrugged. The danger of that situation really hadn't sunk in even now. "But then again I've always thought there was some good to every living thing."

He had to nod at her comment about being some good in every one, always believing in that. "That is true... but you are also very luck to escape with your life." He added, a soft bit of worry in his voice.

"Lucky, maybe but I don't think she really could have hurt me if she wanted.. she couldn't even really keep the first rabit she was after." She laughed. "Besides.. something tells me she has a normal horse as a friend or something... I doubt she's as mean and rotten as she tried to make others think." She was as always cheery and light hearted about things.

"You know... you can never be sure of things like that." He said frowning. "Just because she was not able to catch the lucky rabbit, it does not mean she would not be able to catch you. You might have had one of your stumbles while she was chasing you and that would have been terrible." He replied. "And just because she may have one normal horse as a friend, does not mean she will accept others."

Shoshana actually managed a small frown, something that didn't happen too often. "I guess you're right.. I've just never really met anything that wasn't atleast nice to me so I guess I really didn't bring that to thought...." She seemed to ponder on this rather deeply, her ears flicking about as she thought.

"I'm sorry if I upset you. I just don't want you to get hurt." He pawed the ground softly. "I mean, do not mistake me, it is good to think there is good in everyone and I'm sure there is... but that does not mean to risk your life either, just... be cautious."

She blinked a few times and shook her head. "That's alright.. I guess I am sometimes rather... reckless..." She smiled once more. "I'm glad to hear some one's at least willing to tell me I'm being a knuckle head about something.. the past few stallion's I've encountered were either.. shy, or rather bold in thinking that they were the epitome of seduction." She laughed some.

Abel just smiled softly. "Unfortunately, there are some stallions out there that are like that." He shakes his head at the thought. "But, I guess a lot of wonderful foals wouldn't be around if there weren't any like that."

She couldn't help but to chuckle. "I guess... but it can put a mare off at the thought. Some just come on too strongly while some are terrified of a mare who even may be just friendly." She sighed some. Looking around she saw the stars were appearing in the sky, shining more brightly in the light of the dieing day. "Looks like the stars are laughing..."

He shrugged. "Who knows, they may have their reasons." And that was all he said as he glanced back to the sky, appearing stars reflecting off his glasses. Her comment made him chuckle lightly. "I never heard that before... but yes... they do seem happy tonight."

"Maybe the stars always seem happy and we just never notice?" She laughed some. feeling the breeze finally ease up and let her mane and tail to settle rather than being in her eyes. "Then again.. I could be wrong." She gave a small shrug. to her most everything seemed happy from time to time.. even the buzzing bees that would come and investigate her roses.

He chuckled more, tossing his head some so his silvery bangs fell out of his eyes. "That could also be true. But I know one thing for sure... stars always seem to like to dance." He told her, making a reference on how they moved when they twinkled and shimmed.

Sho looked back at the sky and laughed. He was right, they did seem to dance. "Maybe it's a big celebration up there." She grinned wide. "And they just never seem to find the time to catch their breaths.. almost seems sad if you think of it like that though.."

Abel looked back to her when she mentioned the stars always dancing seemingly being a sad thought. "Oh... I do not know about that..." He started, red eyes looking back to the sky, "there are some who like that sort of thing. They wished they could party all the time if they could."

"I would think they'd tire of it after a wile.. especially if they had no choice. But then, maybe I'm just thinking of the down side of it." She smiled and shook her head some. "Still.. I guess knowing they're up there dancing and celebrating I guess it's enough to make anyone smile if they don't look at the possible down side to it." She cast him a wide grin rather swiftly.

"Well, I have always heard that the stars are some sort of spirits. Last I recall, spirits do not really tire out." He comforted to her, glancing back to see her give him a wide grin, giving her a warm smile in return.

"Spirits?" She pondered this some. "I wonder.." Shrugging some she couldn't help but to snicker some. "I guess when you have all eternity to party without a reason to really tire one can't object to much now could they?"
