Ausiello: In the milestone episode, airing April 15, ”a very important character will sacrifice themselves in a suicide mission,” reveals exec producer Sera Gamble. “We definitely kept in mind that this was [an important] episode. We wanted to deliver something with real scope; it’s about the Archangel Michael. Crises will come to a head for Dean and Castiel. And you’ll see characters you never thought you’d see again.”

Well, s**t.
Okay, hands up who's already preparing their eulogy for Bobby?
There are four major characters in this series that could be considered very important, Dean, Sam, Cas and Bobby.
We know the brothers are going to be around til the end and Misha's contract is - thus far - to the end of season five.
So really, Bobby is the only one who's really expendable.
Therefore, I'm pretty certain he's about to bite the dust.
But the way it's been put there, it seems like he'll be dying in a very noble way and I think I can deal with that.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I will be a ********' wreck much in the same way I was when I lost my beloved Ellen, Jo and my precious Johnnycakes.
But at least it looks like he'll be going out fighting the good fight.
Oh God, I'm now welling up with Angel flashbacks.
Although the way Sera's worded it, she hasn't actually said there's going to be a death which makes me wonder, with the comments about Michael, if the sacrifice is actually just going to be Dean giving up his life and saying yes.
Continuing my thoughts about Dean and Cas' crises coming to a head, I am so freakin' psyched over that, I can't even express it.
I'm really hoping that they're actually going to give Cas a meaty portion of episode this time.
Both Misha and Jensen are incredible when it comes to playing the heavy stuff, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out.
And finally, characters we never thought we'd see again?
I know a few characters due back over the coming episodes are definitely ones I hadn't expected to see again [Adam, Pamela and Big!Mary] and considering who they are, I can't help but wonder if Dean's going to be visited by Michael in different visages.
And, random aside, anyone else missing Zachariah?
That smarmy b*****d, I miss him.
