The book you have found looks like it was once a nice simple purple journal, but now there are black splotches and tiny tears on the cover and on some of the pages of what you can see. It looks like it has seen better days. The once golden lettering is now a tarnished brown. It reads:
"Sonnet"
The first page has more of the black spots like the cover, though there is some nice looking handwriting that has been untouched by the ink. It's just one word.
"Welcome"

Hair: Blonde with a slight wave, longer than it looks
Skin: A normal peachy tone, though she tans pretty easily in the summer
Style: Loose, though because of Deski some goth and punk tendancies have been popping up. She likes toned down colors most.
Commonly known facts: Currently Sonnet is the best flier in all of Meta. This is likely to change when more bird based children reach her age.
Hidden facts: Sonnet has had a major crush on Deskri, for like...3+ years now.
She is also immune to acholhol's effects. Yes, she can't get drunk. It's kind of creepy.
She also drinks more often then most meta or humans. This is an effect Sumi left behind on her (as is the not getting drunk bit. Sumi can't get drunk either)
Overall Personality
Sonnet hates herself but loves you. Really. She just met you and she already wants to die for you if nessisary. She is the mediator of Meta, willing to break up any fight she sees. She also has very mother like tendancies, and crippling self loathing.

Wing Withdraw lvl 5: Sonnet can make her wings tiny or non existent. They revert when she chooses to or when she's asleep or unconscious.
Wind Shove lvl 5: Sonnet can shove bursts of air to knock down opponents. The bursts can be as strong as a class 1 hurricane right now, though she can only produce her strongest bursts 2 times a day.
Author's Intuition lvl 5: Sonnet, through observation, learns things about the person she is observing as if she knew them inside and out as if she were writing about them. Right now she can see people's names above their heads, and learn random bits of information about them if she concentrates hard enough.
Swiss Army Wings lvl 5: Sonnets wings and feathers can become metal and she can create different things with them. The list right now are pens, knives, and a spear. If she summons the spear, her wings vanish completely and it only lasts 20 minutes maximum before the spear vanishes and her wings come back. She can only summon the spear once a day.
-Passive Skills-
Flight lvl 5: With Sonnet's large wings, flying is simple and she finds it useful to get around.

Illusions: Because quills are used to create worlds of illusions, she knows of them and can see through them more easily

 Quill<--The item that Mizu gave her. Fan <--A fan given to her by Mizu. She's quite fond of it. Book 1<--A book that Mizu gave her. This one she keeps at home to write down things, though not like her diary. More along the lines of poems and stories. There is some odd writing on a few of the back pages that was there when she got it, though she doesn't understand the language as of yet Book 2<--This is another blank book she got, the one she carries with her everywhere. This one also has some weird writing that she can't read yet, but it doesn't bother her much. -Home Again Home Again-
Should I even call this place home? It seems to vanish and resurface every time I look around. It has become almost painful, but I suppose good things have come from the situations.
I became closer to Deskri during the long break. He's now a very close friend, and the only one I really have. All the others have vanished, not that I had much to begin with...
Still, I have some structure again. I could dabble in my writing some, or at least force myself to, to find some sort of normalicy again.
...My nightmares are getting worse. It always happens like this. I become accustomed to the current nightmare, am then left alone for about a night or so, and then they come back even worse. The current one is horrendous. All I see is Deskri as he is being torn from the inside out by a shadowed creature that I cannot really see. It's aweful to see that happening...that horrible helpless feeling that I cannot do something to save my dearest and only friend.
Please...make it stop...it hurts so much...

-Hedge Trip-
Caught Deskri in the hedge maze. Kagy was apparently being chatty today, so he went to a place where he might be alone. I always seem to find him when that happens, and I'm glad I can help a little bit by bringing some comfort to him. We chatted a little, and then Rasiel showed up.
I was obviously making things awkward, so I left them to their devices. Last thing I want is for Deskri to lose a friend because of me. Perhaps we can talk later once he's gotten over the shock of seeing Deskri again after so many years.
Right now though, my objective is making brownies. It's one of Deskri's favorite things, so they'll be a must have in my dorm. I've made them so many times now I've got them down to an art. A very gooey chocolaty art.
Maybe I should take up cooking. It seems to calm my nerves...

+Conversation with oneself+ (solo)
The world was white nothingness with Sonnet at the center, but she did not seemed detered by this. It was like she was used to this.
"You haven't wanted to talk to me in a while..." she said, slightly annoyed, her voice echoing on something she could not see. As she looked down, her shadow warped, turning into a black liquid before picking itself up off the floor and taking a basic human shape, still all black.
Nightmares everynight make you used to fear. I have to give you breaks every once and a while
The voice seemed to be inside her head, though Sonnet was all aware that it was the thing in front of her that was speaking to her.
"Of course, but even then you usually don't come and talk to me..." she said, making a wave of her hand to make a plush chair to appear for her to sit on. As she sat, she looked at the thing with contempt. "So what do you want?"
The black thing took a mock hurt pose. Your words hurt me my dear. Why do you thing that I NEED something from you?
"Because I know you well enough to know better," was the curt answer.
The thing shook a bit with a chuckle. It seems you do. I just want to know why you bother with that Deskri fellow. You know if you stay around too long that you're just going to get yourself killed, and I need you to say alive a bit longer.
Sonnet waved her hand. "I know I know, and when you have gotten whatever it is you need from my nightmares you'll leave me be but if you eveer see me again you'll most likely kill me, I've heard this speach several times from you now..." she droned on boredly before sighing. "And Deskri needs someone to count on, to depend on, and you're going to end up killing me someday, I have nothing to live for anyway, so I might as well enjoy what little time I have left. I'm sure you can stop anything that I myself can't handle."
But it's not enjoyable. You're hurting on the inside. You care about him more than you'll ever tell him, because you know if you told him he'd reject you like the girl you are the thing mocked.
Sonnet's eyes were full of tears now. "Th...that's true..." she admitted, wiping the water away from her eyes. "B...but as long as I can make him smile...no matter how small it is...it's worth the pain..."
Ugh. See, this is why emotions like this are worthless. Listen to me, I know from experiance that this will not end well for you. It will just drive you insane.
Sonnet laughed a short curt laugh through her tears, and the thing tilted it's head.
What's so funny?
"I guess I'm just stronger than you then," Sonnet said with an almost evil grin on her face.
That's when she woke up in her bed, all alone.
