 Those damn usdias ran off and abandoned this clouded leopard unicorn to his own devices near the lake. Janus curses under his breath as he narrows his eyes at the forest where Memphis and Marieko have vanished into to have their personal time which is a must for those two. "Those rats.." The unicorn mumbles as he walks along the lake side, brooding since he always feel weird when his little carbon copies is not right there by his side.
His striking green eyes glares at any and all soquilis that is prowling around nearby, warning them off while his horn gleams almost menacingly under the sunlight. A snort escapes his muzzle while he finds a flopping fish right in front of him and he stares down at the fish whom ceased its flopping and laid there with its mouth opening and closing with the gills doing the same, trying to breathe. "Pathetic.." He mumbles as he pushes the dying fish into the water and eyes it when it floated on the surface for few seconds before disappearing under the water happily. Janus stood there, watching the spot where the fish was floating in the lake unseeingly.

 Takoda watched as two Usdia went past her, obvioulsy engrossed in each other, she smiled and sighed a little, since leaving her family she hadnt met very many Soquili, she was tempted to call out to the pair but decided to let the little lovers go unhindered. She smelled water ahead and suddenly found herself very thirsty, taking it into her head she followed her nose, finding not only water but another rather large horned Stallion, she hadnt met a Unicorn Soquili before so she stared a little, just watching him for a minute, and she noticed him push a dying fish back into the water, he said something but she hadn't quite caught what it was. Takoda moved closer to the male, stepping on a twig she froze, and waited for the Stallion to spy her, she wanted enough gap to run in case he proved dangerous, she had been warned not all Soquili were friendly, and that some were down right evil.

The unicorn male snapped out of his brooding thoughts when a twig snapped to his right side and his emerald eyes shifts toward the general direction of the offending twig snapper warily, not sure if it was intentional to lure him so the kalona or skinwalker could rip his throat out (but he would definitely love to see them try!) or an idiotic soquili not knowing how to walk quietly like others. He tosses his unruly mane over his neck, narrowing his eyes to slit glaring at whomever is hiding among the trees.
"Just come out. I do not own this lake." The unicorn's voice rumbles like rolling thunder as he turns his head away from the direction of twig-snapper. "And I am leaving." He starts to move further away from the lake and the forest, definitely not wanting to hang around to see who is watching him or hiding from him.

Takoda cringed a little, she hadn't meant to disturb the stallion "Oh wait" she called stepping out towards the lake and him, looking to the fish in the water, stepped in a short way and nudged it with her nose, not liking the water up her nostrils, but wanting to make sure the fish got enough water in its gills.
As she watched the fish swim away, she lifted her head and tossed her forelock out of her eyes, flickering her wings a little she walked slowly towards the Stallion "I'm sorry, i truly didnt want to distrub your meditation, but the fish needed to be under the water more" she said lightly "that was a very sweet thing you did, not many Soquili would rescue a beached fish"

Janus stops as a feminine voice called out, asking him to wait and he froze in mid-step, gently placing the upraised hoof down. "What?" Janus tries not to snap as he have learned to respect females when he was growing up and he turns his head sideway to look at the owner of the voice that spoke out to him. His eyebrow arches slowly as he watches her help the fish get some more water in its gills stoically.
"You didn't disturb anything, miss." Janus replies coolly as he turns his head away from the mare, not really interested in interacting with anybody at all. He was about to walk off when her compliment reached his ears, effectively freezing him to the spot. A faint smile tugged at his lips as he shakes his head, feeling oddly pleased to receive a compliment from someone that is not an ankle-biter. "It is no biggie, miss." He twitches his tail in an equalivent to a shoulder shrug. "Every living creature deserves a chance to live."

Takoda sighed as the stallion started walking away, but then smiled as he stopped, "its so nice to meet someone who thinks the same" she said, trotting over towards him, wanting some company for a little while.
She looked into his face out of the corner of her eye, tiliting her head so the side in amusement, "you're the first Soquili i've met in a while, i'm glad you're friendly" she said then frowned in thought, "hey do you kow those two Usdia? they looked just like you, well, sort of" she asked him.

Janus' green eyes slants toward Takoda and simply shrugged at her first comment. "I guess so." He quietly says as he turns his head toward the owner of the feminine voice that stopped him from leaving the scene. He wasn't surprised that the mare is stunning and he arches his eyebrow in a soundless admiration which disappeared quickly. One of his front hooves stomps the ground as he mentally shakes himself for even admire a female when he have forsworn them ages ago.
"I might be friendly.. but only by my choice. " Janus mutters as he shakes his head, looking at the mare fully on with his body now facing hers. "If you say you initally thought they were my children, I will be forced to run you through with my horn." He says gently while he shrugs once again, looking skyward because he knows that the mare doesn't deserve his brutish nature. "Those usdias are my constant companion. Between us, I thought it was odd that I had an carbon copy in the form of ankle biter." He smirks at her, trying to make some kind of joke so she wouldn't think he is an a*****e. "What is your name, miss?" He cocks his head to side as he looks at her curiously.

as the stallion turned his gaze on her, her skin prickled pleasantly as he raised his eyebrows a little, his eyes were beautiful green jewels in a strong face, shadowed a little by something she couldnt quite tell.
"it never crossed my mind that they were your children, since they're obviously lovers" she giggled, "my name's Takoda, what's yours oh graceful stallion?, recuser of distressed fish and guardian of 'ankle biters'" she said amusement ringing in her voice.

Corner of Janus' muzzle twitches as he tries not to smile in amusement at the titles the mare that calls herself Takoda threw out at him so he settled for an eyeroll aimed toward her. "I am Janus. Its my pleasure meeting you." He silently adds smartass to end of his sentence. "So you say I am the first soquili you have met in long time, yes?" The male inquires as he eyes the fish that kept swimming near the surface nearby suspiciously.
A glint in his emerald eyes gives the thought that was muddling around in his head. Should he spear that fish to teach others that he might help them but that doesn't mean they can hang around him like lovesick puppies or just ignore them and hope they will go away? A small frown appears on Janus' face as he glares at rapidly rising number of fish appearing near the shoreline.

Takoda half smiles, closes her eyes and sighs, "yes, it's been a long time since i met a friendly Soquili, most chased me off, or there were one or two Kalona too" she said and shuddered at the memory.
She walked over to the lake to get a drink and snorted in surprise at the fish that seemed to be gathering, most of them pointing towards Janus's shadow in the water "seems like you have a fan club Janus" she laughed "or should i say a FIN club" and she knelt down to take a closer look at the fish, her butt sticking up in the air and she bent her front legs at the knees.

Janus bites back a comment that he would normally use if it was any other soquilis as he shakes his head. "Kalonas and skinwalkers are never a good news." He murmurs softly as he looks Takoda over. "At least you still have your wings and legs eh?" He smirks faintly at her, not sure why he is ... charmed by this mare and he just have met her. Other mare is similar to Takoda have charmed him in almost same manner before and it disturbs him. Maybe he is getting soft toward females once again.
His emerald eyes disappears under his eyelids as he closes them, trying to ward off an upcoming headache from the fact that the fish are collecting near the shoreline trying to be as close to him as possible. "Fin club? That's really cheesy." Janus mutters as he turns his head away out of respect toward her when he noticed Takoda getting on her front knees with her butt in the air. "Careful, they DO bite." Janus' muttered sarcasm could be heard by her and the fishes whom tried to splash at him.

Takoda smiles, "they wont bite us Janus, it seems they have found a merciful angel to worship" she said, getting up as his gaze travels towards her rear.
She waded into the water a little, feeling the fish tickle her ankles (she is very ticklish) she pranced her feet at the tickling, splashing around, laughing she sends a small splash towards Janus, testing his humour "catch me if you can" she giggled trotting further into the water, fish swimming around her like a fishy aura

Janus grunts as he rolls his eyes at Takoda's comment about the fish not going to bite. "They might not going to bite us but they still have teeth." He mutters with a distasteful glare aimed toward the 'school' of the fish that is swarming around Takoda's legs like fishy aura. "Angel? I am far from being an angel. That I can tell you right now." The unicorn grumbles as he moves out of the splashing range.
"You do know that there is a huge soquili-eating fishes that is lurking around in middle of that lake?" Janus calls out with a smirk, watching the wind mare trotting further into the lake. He knows that he will have to 'protect' her since there IS some monsters out there so he grudgingly moves toward the lake, eyeing the fish that suddenly moved away from the mare to him. "Ugh... Takoda.. call your little pets off." He grumbles as he dips his hoof in the water, feeling fishes 'kissing ' his foreleg. "Ok.. this is wrong.." He mumbles.
Yanking his leg out of the water, Janus frowns at the mare. "Again, I will have to tell you that I WILL kill those darn fishes if they don't get away from me." His green eyes glares at the fishes whom is waiting for him to get in so they could dote on him.

"Monster fish?" replied Takoda looking around in the now murky water, and she shuffled her wings nervously, then, deciding he was most likey joking, pranced around in the water some more, watching as the fish shoaled over to Janus as he stepped into the water, bursting out giggling she managed to choke out some words to the Stallion "dont be a big baby, the fish are grateful, why dont you just let them thank you" she said.
A large shadow passed behind Takoda, scattering the fishes, Takoda looked around but couldnt see anything, the 'shadow' has dissapeared so she hadnt seen a thing, flashing her wings she sent some more splashes at Janus where he stood beside the lake, droplets cscading from them as she flicked them back and forth in the lake to get Janus to join in. Once more the shadow passed behind Takoda, again unnoticed by the jolly mare

Janus smirks faintly as he watches Takoda becoming little bit skittery because his 'old' friend is swimming around in the lake as well. His head moves toward the lake as he skims his muzzle across the cold water. "They already thanked me." He replies to her with an amused tone, figuring that she never have seen a mersoquili before and is about to meet her first one soon.
The unicorn twitches as he gets splashed once again and he narrows his eyes little bit at Takoda. "Keep splashing me and I will tackle you right under the water." He threatens Takoda in warning voice that is underscored by teasing and amusement. He steps into the lake, taking his time as he eyes Takoda with a slight grin. "Are you really prepared to breathe some water?" He calls out to the wind mare as he is grateful that fishes have fled to the ocean instead of lurking around near his legs. His eyes glitters with hidden amusement while he watches the shadow move closer to Takoda. "Better watch out. The monster fish is coming for you." He calls out in perfectly serious voice but there is a wicked grin on his muzzle.
