And I believe it was a good one.
My tax return, plus debts paid to me, plus $50 of my early birthday money, equals a new gun.
Guess what I got?
A Marlin 1894C! In .357MAG, of course. Brand new. Payment to be sent tomorrow when the seller contacts me with contact info, and then it should be sent to my local FFL. It's an early birthday present to myself. I turn 18 the sunday after next (the 6th). I can find Tokarevs for $250 all day every day, I CANNOT find an 1894C for less than $600 every day!

No one else wants to comment? The FFL was faxed two days ago, and the payment sent yesterday. He should have it now. Hopefully I can unwrap my early birthday present before my birthday!

Cheers, mate. My next will probably be a Marlin 336C. Hope you can find .357/.38 around you, because it's darn rare here.
I used to have an 1894C on my list, but it left some time ago, and now I have a Cx4 Storm in its place, I suppose.

I lied. I'm not getting the gun tomorrow.
I got it today! Pictures coming soon, when I get off my a** and get the camera. Like how it handles. Handy little thing. I'll have to grease it up and work it like a ******** to smooth it up good, and I'll have to feed it a lot because it's fun! I'll probably shoot it a bit before I head off for my party tomorrow morning.

Nice. My deployment money is going to a 14.5" ACR. It'll be out by the time I get home, too. And an ACOG.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance...
sad Still no pics.
... In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace, what did they produce? The cuckoo clock.
