RP log between Konje (Played by Caj) and Giada (Played by nessiaing)
Caj:
Another day, another time for training. He was sprinting over the grounds, racing as fast as he paws would carry him jsut to see if his top speed had improved. It had, of course, but it was still nothing compared to how a cheetah could run. He knew he had a long way to go before he was able to match the speed on an animal like that.
There was another problem with running do fast- he couldn't see where he was going. The world was rushing past him so quickly, he couldn't tell what was an animal and what was a tree. How did cheetahs hunt like this? He never used his full speed to catch his meals, so he didn't know.
Sprinning over some bushes, he found himself suddenly plowing into something that had been on the other side. Whether it was a rock, a tree, or another animal, however, he didn't know.

Gaida was loving the world. She was an angry sort of creature most of the time but on some days when she could just let loose and run and play and be herself were the days that she found herself smiling. Something she didn't do all that often. Today she had wondered away from her new home, her cubs and the man she had been how should she put it.... had been seeing to look for the freedom the desert gave her.
As she raced aroudn she paid no attention to what was around her just letting her feet fly benether her. Her wonderful expereince came to a crashing hault as something crashed into the side of her. The cheetahs agile body crumpled as she fell to the ground. The happiness quickly leaving her. She gathered herself to her feet slowly in a bit of pain to look at what had just ran into the side of her a scowl planted on her face.
Caj:
Konje rolled along the ground, laughing in surprise. It had hurt, of course, but in a good way. At least it showed him that he had enough strength in his muscles to launch himself into someone else and knock them down from the blow. Then again, perhaps he was looking at it the wrong way.
The creature he had run into probably wasn't pleased.
"I'm so sorry!" he said lightly, looking over his shoulder to see a cheetah there with him. And not a male. "Oh! I'm REALLY extra sorry! I didn't see you there where I was running? I didn't know! Are you hurt
nessiaing:
"Are you blind" Gaida asked coldly. How was it possible a creature couldn't see while it was running. She of course didn't really understand other speices and the fact that perhaps they werent built to run the same was she was.
The cheetah paused looking over her own body making a point to flex every muscle and move all her bones to make sure she wasn't hurt too badly. When she was convinced that she was mostly ok her scowl deepened. "You are lucky that I don't rip you to shreads." she said in a low growly voice.
Her stance was low and defensive. She may be faster than this creature but she knew that a leopard had body weight higher than hers and he was a male.
Caj:
"Oh, it's not luck," Konje replied easily enough, as though she had said not as a threat, but because she simply didn't know any better, "it's because you know I'm stronger than you. A cheetah like you couldn't hope to win in a battle against a leopard as strong as me. And that's alright! I would never fight a female anyway, so you don't have to worry about that." He smiled warmly, completely missing her angry scowl as he finished explaining things.
Hopefully it would help her.
While she looked ready to attack, he simply sat down. HIs mind was not on a brawl- not with a female. Where would the honor in that be? Picking on someone from a different species, and a female to boot, was just not a good way to go about things. Tail beating the ground, he watched her, tilting his head slightly to one side. "What's your name? I'm Konje! I was just training and I guess I couldn't see where I was going withall the wind in my face. I'll have to train more to get better at that!"
nessiaing:
The cheetah scowled she didn't want to talk to this creature she wanted to go back to her running and her good day. but she instead she lowed her stance, she felt ridiculous with an angry front if this creature wasn't going to play into it. She huffed, she knew she was intimidating, it was frustrating that jsut cause he was bigger than her didn't mean anything.
"My name is Giada." she said basically because there wasn't anything else she could say.
Getting frustrated again she huffed, "I have to ask why you insist on running if you can't see at all." she asked in a low growly voice. "Some creatures aren't meant to run as fast as others." she said angrily trying to give herself the upper hand again.
Caj:
"It's nice to meet you, Giada!" Hummed the leopard. So at least she wasn't so mad at him that she couldn't even bring herself to tell him her name. That was a good sign, wasn't it? Licking his paws, he looked over his claws, checking to make sure everything was in order. Unlike her, he hadn't even bothered to make sure that he hadn't injured himself.
It didn't feel like anything was bleeding. Deciding himself fine, he looked at the cheetah once more, smiling. "Because I was training!" he replied, as though it were such an obvious thing. "I can't get better at seeing while I'm running so fast if I don't practice doing it, you know? I was training."
Shaking his head, he disregarded her statement, huffing at the thought. "Any animal can do anything they want! They just have to work at it. One day, I'm going to run as fast as a cheetah. That's one of my goals!"
nessiaing:
The cheetah laughed loudly at the naivety of the leopard in front of her. "Practice or not you will never be as good as I am at running, you will never run as fast as me, and even if you get close you wouldn't be able to accomplish anything while running." she said angrily.
She founded it harder to be mad at the leopard, as he was clearly mentallly challenged, right borderline stupid. She just stood there and shook her head. "Why would you even want to be able to run like me?" she asked even though she didn't overly care.
Caj:
"Aw, that's no way to think about things!" Konje protested, "if you think that you can't do something than you won't ever be able to! I don't believe it- I've already done a lot more than I've ever been capable of before! Just because I trained hard. I think you shouldn't be so worried about what I can and can't do, though. You should think about what you can do!"
He smiled at that, thinking it sound advice.
"I don't mean to say I want to run like you. I'd be happy to run like any cheetah, really. I just... like knowing that there are animals out there better than me at something. I want to do my best to prove that I can beat them. You don't have any goals? Anything you want to accomplish for yourself?"
nessiaing:
The cheetah growled this creature was really ticking her off, yet she sat and talked to him more. "Well you can train as much as you want, but there will always be somone who is better than you." she said cooly, wishing to smash all his hopes and dreams.
"Of course I have my goals but I make sure that they are atainable and not far fetched like the ones you seem to chose." she said with a dark laugh in her voice. She had no intention of sharing her hopes and dreams with this dull creature. She was better than him he had no right to know more about her than she felt a need to share.
Giada got an idea, "Race me" she said her voice still cool and distant. Really she just wanted an exit strategy, but she was going to play with his head a bit first.
Caj:
"I know that!" He laughed, "what fun would it be if I ever got to be the best? That would be boring! I like the challenge- knowing that there's someone better out there just waiting for me to beat them. The day I run out of challenges will be a sad day indeed! But I don't think it'll ever happen." He wanted to be number one, sure, but maybe after a long time had passed so he could really enjoy things.
While they lasted.
He tilted his head to his side, frowning at her demand. "No, I don't challenge females," he said, "didn't I say that yet? It's a contest between two males that's important! Racing you wouldn't prove anything, would it? There has to be a point to my contests!" He continued oblivious to her anger at him.
nessiaing:
The leopard had madee her the madest that he ever had in the short meeting that they had had thus far. "I am a cheetah and we are running that is enough of a challenge right there." she said with cooly. She decided she didn't want to give this idiot any more of her time. There was still a short period of time that she could enjoy a little more of a run before she would have to return to her cubs.... her home.
"Its your loss" she said quickly, "You probably could have learnt a thing or two from me." she said. She didn't loose her cool though, not in front of him. She turned and walked away from him wanting to get away before she said or did something that she might regret.
As she walked away she shook her head, what an annoying creature she thought to herself, how dare he speak back to her. She turned to begin to run home, towards the man that would bow down to her, and the cubs that she was in charge of. It was much nicer to have those she could dominate around her.
