 Skye had been alone for some time now and she was tired of it. She had gone into the clearing of the forest which she liked to call the sun star view, because during the day the sun would shine like glittering stars through the branches of the tree's. She sat by the edge of the creek looking up into the sky, watching the lights dance and shimmer. The sun reflecting into her eyes and on her fur.
She thought about things here, it made her feel so peaceful, like nothing could break her moment of serenity. She closed her eyes and sniffed the fresh air and let the gentle warm breeze swirl around her. Letting the smell of the forest consume and calm her.

 Parker was in a rotten mood. For one thing, he'd stubbed his paw trying to catch his lunch, and for another, well, he'd had a fight with one of his sisters earlier that morning. In an attempt to cool down and put himself in better spirits he decided to take a stroll through the clearing; it was something he did when he felt a bit annoyed with the world. Besides, anything was better than sitting around and being grumpy all day. That much he knew.
Trotting into the clearing, he allowed the sun to embrace him for a few seconds. The golden warmth felt good on his gray fur, bringing out a tiny smile on his lips. When he was finished doing this he decided he was thirsty. It didn't take him very long to arrive at the nearby creek, and when he did he noticed that he wasn't alone.

letting the sun warm her fur and spirit she suddenly felt another presence enter the vicinity and she perked her ears up high without moving a muscle to hear what was coming. She was unsure but she didn't want to jump to conclusions about the one she sensed. She contemplated whether to turn around or remain still.
She was however not a shy fox and so she slowly twitched her ears and then turning around cautiously she said "hello? anyone there?"

A gray snout lifted up in the air for a moment to get a good whiff at who the other fox was. When he didn't recognize the smell, yet also didn't feel any immediate danger from it, Parker decided to take a few steps forward until he saw who he was dealing with. She was a female from what he could make out with black fur and white spots. He blinked. "Well, hi," he said a bit awkwardly, tilting his head.

she turned around completely hearing the males voice, and now that she got a better look at him, he was gray and black and he was quite handsome. She smiled and now more comfortable and not getting any bad vibes she said "hello, my name is Skye." she was trying to be friendly, and not being shy that was how she was.

Parker hadn't planned on meeting any new faces, but now that he was standing before one he couldn't just walk away. No, his parents had taught him better than that (especially his mom). And if there was one thing his father had told him constantly it was to never be rude to a lady. This was the reason he walked closer to the other fox before he sat down in front of her with a friendly smile. "I'm Parker. It's nice to meet you, Skye," he replied. "What are you doing over here?"

smiling as he walked closer and sat down, she thought that it was strange to meet another fox it was unexpected and unplanned and she wasn't even looking to find someone, but here he had walked in. "Its nice to meet you Parker, and I am cleansing my spirit, or thats what I call it. When I am sad or stressed out or just want to think I come here and breathe the fresh air and let the sun warm my fur. You?"

The male fox listened to everything his new acquaintance had to say and nodded to show that he understood. When she asked him what he was doing in the clearing, however, he paused for a moment. He didn't want to say he'd been in a bad mood, because that would make the conversation awkward, so instead he shrugged a little. "I needed to take a walk," he answered. "I guess you can say I've had a rough afternoon and morning."

she listened to him and said "Oh I'm sorry that you haven't had the best of mornings" she paused for a moment and then said "well I hope that coming to this area helps you feel better" she said with a small smile.

For some strange, unexplainable reason Parker felt his heart jump a little when Skye smiled. It was a funny feeling that confused him, but he brushed it aside for the time being. “Don’t worry about it,” he reassured her with a slight shrug. “It’s working so far.” Already he could feel his earlier tension and irritation melting away; he had a feeling it wasn’t all because of the area.

She smiled again and her eyes seemed to glitter just a little and she said "well I won't delve any further" she swished her tail and then looking at him she said "well thats great, I'm really glad your feeling better. This place is just so calming" she closed her eyes and took a deep breath of the sweet air.

Something was…weird. The same strange feeling from before bloomed throughout Parker’s chest again, and this time is also spread to his paws, making them shake slightly. He was nervous? Well, that was odd. He was never nervous (especially around new people). “Y-yeah,” he replied, clearing his throat when his voice came out a little unstable. “Really calming…” He looked away for a moment and drew invisible patterns on the ground with the tip of one claw.

she opened her eyes again and looked at him, he was looking towards the ground and moving his paw over the ground. She blushed because he looked really cute doing that. She felt a little thump bump in her chest and looked at herself thinking 'what was that?' she had never really been the type to blush for no reason. "yes...yes it is" she sort of mumbled out. 'what is wrong with me all of a sudden?' she shook it off trying to not think about it.

A heavy feeling of awkwardness descended over them, adding to Parker’s sudden discomfort. He felt like he needed to say something, anything, but words were no longer coming to him easily. The gray fox swallowed and looked up, taking a deep, calming breath as he did so. “Anyway,” he began, looking into the dark blue eyes ahead. “Do…do you wanna do something?” Yeah, like that didn’t sound stupid. He mentally kicked himself for asking such a lame question.
