The breeze was soft today, but the sun was rather harsh. The field was home to short grasses and a sparse scatter of trees and big rocks. Genji sat lazily under the shade of the biggest tree in the field lazily, having kicked off his geta sandals, as he waited for his newest student to arrive, getting the soft breeze and little and the harsh sun. He had never met Henano Zenseiki before; he only got the request recently in the mail. Either way, it was going to be a good day. smile

Genji jolted at first when the sudden noise. His head quickly turned and found a small boy wearing Shinigami robes. At first Genji thought that it was someone's little brother or son playing dress-up. If Genji stood up even in bare feet, he was quite a bit than Zeneiki. However, that theory was dashed once Genji sensed the reiatsu that came from the boy. He was definately a Shinigami. This boy looked so young and innocent, pure. It was a gleeful contrast to the battle scarred and dark he had been used to seeing. Zeneiki greeting Genji sweetly and informally. Usually informality rub Genji the wrong way, but when it was cutesy, Genji was butter.

Still, he had been caught off guard, a not too unusual thing seeing as Genji tends to wonder off in his head. However, it did not matter. He felt really comfortable around Zeneiki. It takes time for Genji to get comfortable around someone new. However, that was not the case with Zeneiki. Genji liked him right away. Zeneiki's mannerisms almost identical to Genji's mannerisms around close friends. 3nodding

"Okay then... Zenny," Genji said kindly, still sitting against the tree with Zeneiki. "I welcome you to this kido training. You are safe here with me. So then, where would you like to begin."

Genji giggled at Zeneiki's cuteness and admired his childlike bravado.

"Okay," said Genji, smiling. When he stood up, he found himself to be right. He was quite a bit taller than Zeneiki in bare feet. When Genji slipped his feet back into his geta sandals, he towered over the boy even more. "I like your enthusiasm. By the way, I forgot to mention this earlier. I clearly forgot. There will be one more student joining us. She's in my squad and wants to learn two of the kido you want to learn, one, coincidentally, being Bakudo #21. You know, the ninja smoke ball one. I hope you don't mind waitning for her."

Zenny began to smile upon sight of the girl Genji had mentioned. So this would be his fellow student, today! As her hand came out, implying a shake, he gripped it with both hands. His light grasp was followed by a few small nods. Wide, cute chibi eyes stared up (He's shorter then her..) towards the girl as he began to speak. "I'm Henano Zenseiki! You ken' call me Zenny, though.. Everybody does!" Already, the child was attempting to become acquainted in the friendliest way possible. Zenny made sure to be nice to the girl, since they'd be learning things together today. It'd be nice to make a few friends today! "We were about to learn the ninja red smoke poof! Genji said that was one you requested! Are you as excited as me to learn it!?" He giggled after asking his own question, beginning to let go of her hands so that he could simply talk.

"?!"

Zenny's speechless expression was one for the ages as he was impressed to such a vast extent. He stared at the large clouds of red smoke as they bellowed out, only controlled by the breeze. He'd turned his focused reiastu into unfocused smoke! Zenny's face suddenly grew a bit more stern, the cute attempt at being serious being enough to turn a softy to jello~ "Alrighty! I'm gonna do this!" The boy clapped his small hands together, sliding them together before backing up a good seven or eight feet from the two. "Relax my breathing.." His eyes closed lightly as he whispered this to himself, his shoulders dropping to signify he was attempting to calm himself down. He spent a few seconds just standing there, breathing in and out until he felt comfortable. Once he'd reached that point, his legs were spread shoulder length apart and his hands were kept to there respective sides of his legs. "Gotta control my reiastu flow.. This is the easy part for me~!" Smiling lightly, he slowly opened his eyes. His Shinigami garbs began to flutter upwards lightly, the large open sleeves fluctuating in a newly developed breeze; this was no normal breeze, however. Unexpectedly, the boy began to exhibit a highly natural ability to flow spiritual energy at impressively calm speed-rates. It was like watching a stream on a calm day; It flowed freely, and caressed all rocks and stones that attempted to halt its smooth path. Eventually, the aura began to shroud his body like a thin outline, his robes flowing even more at this point. Surrounding the boy's initial standing area was a dim aura.. Yet again, it was a huge surprise that he was capable of handling such a task. The control he exhibited was.. alarming. It was, however, all thanks to his naturally calm reiastu nature. It helped, mostly, in controlling his spiritual energy's natural flow through the body.

"I think, s-since it's meant to be uncontrolled I mean, that.. I should probably try it now~.."He asked himself this question aloud, looking down at both of his hands. His flow had, a second ago, gone off track and he'd halted himself from attempting the technique so early. Instead, he questioned if he was ready. "Should I..? My flows back on track.. Maybe I should just go for it!" Excitedly, he began to clench his fingers, making two pronged hand poses. He slowly eased the tension in his fingers, watching as green spiritual energy cloaked his entire palms at this point. it did resemble what Genji's hands had looked like before he performed his own technique.. Maybe that was sign he really was ready! "Ok.. I'm doin' it! Bakudo number twenty one. Sekienton! Red smoke escape!" With a boost of confidence, he would suddenly crouch down, slamming both palms onto the ground beneath him. He grunted upon impact, closing his eyes due to the suspense. !~Poof~! Zenny's eyes immediately opened after hearing the large 'poof' noise, a smile forming on his face as he watched his vision fill with smoke. Red smoke! He had performed the kido successfully! He smiled and jumped up and down, flailing his arms as much as possible. Sadly, neither Genji nor Evie would be able to see him! The large bellowing uproar of red smoke soon spread and spiraled upwards, dispersing after reaching fifteen to seventeen feet. Zenny, trying to stay true to the spell's usage, backed up and used the chance to escape and walk around. He snickered lightly, crawling through the long grass and taking advantage of his size. When the smoke cleared, the boy was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he was sitting behind Genji, legs folded and eyes closed. Zenny, in excitement, began to shout out! "Boo! Heh! I did it! It was fun!"

Evie smiled and nodded. This time, she'll be patient and wait for her reiatsu to converge onto her hand. Closing her eyes once more, she clapped her hands together and focused. Come on reiatsu! she yelled silently in her head. She could feel it around her, flying off spazztically in random directions. It wasn't going towards her hands. Evie grimaced and kept her thought on only one thing, the reiatsu moving towards her palms. Slowly, she felt it burn in her palms, almost like she was holding a hot potato. She wanted the smoke to cover at least 10 acres of land, since this would be her most-used escape technique. The longer the concentrated, the more tingling she felt in her hands. This should be enough! she decided. The next part would be done really fast, or her reiatsu might escape. Taking her chance, Evie sprung open her eyes and yelled out "Bakudo 21!!" and dropped her hands to the ground quickly. As her palms made contact with the grass, she could see the red smoke engulf everything around her. This time, she was prepared and ran off. She climbed into a nearby tree and waited. It took a whole 7 seconds for the smoke to disperse, which gave her quite a while to escape. She waited until the final wisps has disappeared, then called out to the others from the tree, "I WIN! I've done it!" Jumping out of the branches, she landed in from of Zenny and Genji and was grinning ecstatically.
