CHARACTER IDS

Hoping to get your hands on your very own TRHQ Character ID? You've come to the right place! This thread is a collection of all the information you could ever want to know about the ID ordering process - however, this page is just for information on the ordering process. Info on current availability will be on the first page of the shop thread, here. There is no set time that IDs become available. ID availability depends entirely upon when an ID colorist wishes to open their slots.

If you don't have any Pokémon at TRHQ and you buy an ID, you will get one free, non-legendary, normal-colored Pokémon of your choice. This offer is only redeemable if you have no Pokémon at all. Make sure to tell the colorist from whom you're ordering your ID that you want the free Pokémon and provide certing info for that Pokémon.

You do not need an ID* in order to have a character or own Pokémon at TRHQ. IDs are nothing more than official art made by the shop to represent your character. Because IDs are representations of your characters, you may only have as many IDs as your current tier allows. For example, if you have reached third tier and can have three characters at TRHQ, you can also only have three IDs - one per character. If you eventually decide that you no longer wish to play a character you obtained an ID for, you can choose to give up the character permanently and the ID will be removed from the Owners List, freeing up one of your slots. If you wish to go this route, simply get in touch with staff.

Cosplay characters are allowed, but the character limit still applies. The character must also be a Pokémon universe version of that character. Winged characters or characters in full armor, for example, will need to have alterations made to their appearance in order to fit into the world.

* The only time where having an ID of a character is required is if you want to have a cosplay character. If you want to have a cosplay character, check the list below to see which cosplays have already been taken, as a cosplay can be taken only once. You may not purchase cosplays of Pokémon characters such as Ash, Jessie, or Cynthia. These are reserved as NPCs for staff's exclusive use.

Having an ID does not require you to RP that character.

                              ROCKET IDS AND TRAINER IDS
                              User Image

TRHQ offers a different cert style depending on whether your character is a Rocket or a non-Rocket. Rockets cannot be placed on the trainer cert, and trainers cannot be placed on the Rocket cert. If your trainer joins Team Rocket, you can discuss cert changes with your ID's artist, or if the artist is no longer on staff, you can post a request in the transfer thread. However, this doesn't mean that you should request your character on a trainer ID if you plan for them to join Team Rocket within a couple RPs. Be rational about it.

If you have a trainer that was certed on the Rocket ID before the Trainer ID was added, you can request it be switched in the transfer thread as well.

                              UNIFORMS

Note: Standard uniforms apply only to Rocket IDs. Trainers cannot wear Rocket uniforms, so Trainer IDs should be purchased as custom costumes.

When ordering a Rocket ID, your character will appear in the uniform for their current rank, which can be changed through RP. If you never RP in the shop, the only option for your Rocket will be a trainee uniform. See the rank promotion thread for more information on ranks. If your Rocket is promoted, your ID can be updated for no extra charge. Once the character's promotion has been approved, send a PM to the colorist responsible for your ID to discuss updating the uniform.

When ordering an ID, be sure to include the complete name of the uniform. Grunt uniforms include a hat by default, but you can request it without. The hat can be added to any other uniform at no additional charge if desired.

                              ACCESSORIES

There is a selection of pre-made accessories available to you at no cost. You can also choose to have custom accessories made for an additional fee. (Note: The Master Ball is only available if you own a legendary Pokémon in TRHQ. Please refrain from requesting it for an ID of a character that you don't intend to own a legendary.)

                              PRICES

IDs have custom hair, custom skin tone, and custom eye color built into the overall price. All mentions of edits refer to accessories and alterations to the standard uniform. Normal seeing eyeglasses can be added for no extra charge, but any abnormal eyewear not intended for improving vision, such as sunglasses or goggles, counts as an accessory and will incur a fee. It is up to the artist's judgment whether or not requested glasses qualify as abnormal.

                              • No edits. A standard uniform with no changes or special items. Only pre-made accessories are allowed.
                              1bil
                            • Custom Uniform Colors. A standard uniform with no edits but with any color changes you'd like. Only pre-made accessories are allowed. 2bil
                            • Minor Edits. A standard uniform with any color changes you'd like and very simple edits, such as adding jewelry or a custom accessory. 5bil
                            • Major Edits. A uniform that can have substantial edits and custom accessories. 10bil
                            • Custom Costume. Any outfit you'd like. A completely new costume will be created. Custom costumes do not reflect rank and will not change upon a character's promotion. 20bil

                            • For a custom expression on an ID with no edits, add 500mil to the price. (Standard Male Expression: [Link], Standard Female Expression: [Link])

                            • A discount coupon may be used to reduce the cost of an ID. Check out the Monthly Discount Coupon Raffle thread for details.

                              CURRENT PARTY

Each type of ID has the option to include a space for the current party if desired. If you opt to include space for your character's party, know that it is your own task to add and update the Pokémon icons. If you lack the resources or ability to add the icons to your cert, you can request that BFK add them here, or you can request a no party cert.

                              Cert without party: [Link]

You can obtain the Pokémon icons to update your cert here. Do not make edits to the icons. They're not meant to represent the exact appearance of your pokemon; they simply show what Pokémon types you have. Bearing that in mind, please only add Pokémon you currently own to the cert. Only staff characters may have Pokémon not yet created on the cert.
