Hobbies: Shay is a very physical young woman. Educational pursuits are hardly her forte, even if she isn't a stupid girl. Hence why her major is archaeology; much of her time will be spent excavating the artifacts that the stuffy librarians will locate.
Archaeology -- Shahar isn't particularly fond of old things, however she is VERY fond of getting hot and sweaty. Since she was 13, her summers have been spent with family in various global locations digging things out of the dirt. Even if she didn't do much of the digging herself, she has been a constant hanger-on. They have archaeological digs that do rarely accept student assistants, and once in high school she would assist with those sometimes.
Judo, Kickboxing -- Another one of those things Shay enjoys doing just for exercise. It is about the only thing in her life that she allows to be rigid, and only because the physical activity is rewarding-- and so is winning.
Laser tag / Paintball -- Shay has good aim and loves to hunt you down. biggrin But if it is a rainy day and she has nothing better to do, she can be found online with a FPS. She has fabulous aim on a console, but paintball... well... she blames it on the guns. How dare they be heavy?
Old cartoons -- Don't judge her; Shay loves old cartoons. Retro, baby. She can and will quote old theme songs from the 80's and 90's.
Extracurricular Activities: Dancing, Kickboxing... gambling; things that get the blood and the adrenaline pumping.
Virtues:
Passionate -- Shay takes ALMOST everything as it comes, from good news to bad. A family as big as her own, however, means that when the boat gets rocking, the waves are huge. Shay is a borderline zealot about those causes that she adopts as her own, and she is much the same in regards to the people she adopts as her own. She's also "passionate" about her schoolwork- you don't get between her and her C.
Energetic -- Shar is a cheerleader. She always seems to have a high level of energy- though that could be the Red Bull and Jaeger Bomb. She isn't always positive, but even while prophesying Doom and Destruction, she manages to pull off a chipper tone.
Assertive -- This virtue ties in with flaws. Quiet, Shay is not. She will be out there putting herself on the line and making her voice heard, right or wrong. She wants to get her opinions in. This translates most commonly to a confidence level that is almost over 9000. Some people may not like it, some people may. She doesn't want to step on the toes of the leadership, but she wants her two cents heard.
Flaws:
Overconfident -- Shay puts a lot of confidence into her own abilities. Probably too much; she is extremely likely to jump into a situation that she cannot get out of. She is physically capable, and does not always take the time to consider the enemies she makes, or really examine the battle map. Cover? Why would she need cover? Hiding in doors and windows is for people who can't cover their own asses. Her overconfidence can look like a massive ego in good light, or it can lead to her getting her butt kicked if people don't like it. She will never make a good leader figure unless she can learn to balance this flaw with common sense, as she would be certain she could get them out of something... that she probably can't.
The Hedonist-- Shay doesn't particularly care what you think. If what you think lines up with what she thinks, great; if the thoughts don't match, she'll do what she wants anyway... Unless you have a way to stop her or have a damn good point about the downsides. (She needs a firm hand on her reins or she will go hog wild. It's why the Negaverse is almost healthy for her.)
..... She'll do drugs, have sex, get in fights; she'll do anything that gets the good feelings flowing-- and worst of all, Shahar is easily addicted to anything that gives her those good feelings, and will be hard-pressed to refuse them. At the worst times, and in the worst company, she is very likely to slip up and make a d**k of herself.
..... This has made it very hard for her to 'advance' in her career of choice-- if they can't trust her to be responsible for herself, how can they trust her to be responsible for the items she could potentially be excavating and handling? Because of this she is seen as untrustworthy on many levels, even when she is trying to be responsible. And she does try... sometimes. Pleasure takes precedence over everything else, and while she blames it on her youth, she doesn't quite see that she's just trainwrecking her future.
Explosive -- The other side of her passionate virtue, when Shay's buttons are pressed she goes into overdrive. She doesn't take losing very well. In combat, mixing this with her own confidence- worse, her overconfidence- can lead to Very Bad Things. It can also mean that friendships are very volatile.
Not my fault-- Oh, she'll say she can resist her addictive traits, because for a few moments she might be able to. And every time she slips, she'll reason it out with herself, like an addict. Of course that fight wasn't her fault. They started it. Of course it is fine she tumbled out of a strangers bed at 2am. They started it. And of course it is fine that she got drunk and got herself arrested. The booze started it. Yes, she was late to class. The cartoons started it. It is NEVER Shar's fault. Because of this she is commonly viewed as inconsiderate and irresponsible.

Physical Description: Shahar is about 5'11, and slightly stocky rather than svelte. She is tanned from time spent in the sun.
Hair: Shay has hair that is primarily a Caribbean blue-green. Like water, there are a few other colors of darker and lighter blues within it.
Eyes: Teal. They are large, almond-shaped.
Face: Her face is very slim with high cheekbones. Heart-shaped.
Body: Shahar is about 5'11. She is pretty well muscled, but she's still feminine about it.
Fashion: Tight blue jeans, tank tops. Shay is confident in her body even though she is no supermodel.
Makeup: Nope. Titanite doesn't wear more than a little lip gloss unless she has a very formal date- which is something rare for her.
 
Traits:
Athletic-- Shar is limber and in good shape, physically. She may not be the fastest person on the field, but she's got a lot of endurance, moderate physical strength from working outdoors and knows her own body well enough to test her limits.
Additional note: Titanite is one of Marth's Lieutenants, come over with him when he was summoned back to DC.

Negaverse: Lieutenant Titanite Challenge: "_____" Uniform: Titanite believes in making military sexy. She also believes in leather. black or red- that way if there's blood, well... it won't show. biggrin Top -- First stage: Black leather halter corset-top, front-laced. Kind of like this, but with a lot less focus on the boob and thicker straps. (Narsu will adapt for later stages.) Bottoms -- First stage: Black leather pants, tucked into her boots. Gloves -- Appropriate to her weapon at the time. Belt -- wide belt, studded Shoes -- knee or thigh boots, laced up over the pants, as appropriate to her stage. Kind of like a military look. Shoulders -- up to artist (got RL Natsu slot in February 2011 raffle) Accessories -- up to artist (got RL Natsu slot in February 2011 raffle) Weapon -- .....Lieutenant: leather gloves and leather boots? .....Captain: Leather gloves with brass knuckles; steel-toed boots? .....General: Armored boots and gauntlets. The boots would have the magical plus to them. biggrin .....General-Queen: (TBD, if she makes it here!) Additional refs for the artist:This was a concept commission I got from Wegs. Shay's Family
Shahar has a HUGE family. Six older sister, three older brothers, three younger sisters and two younger brothers. These include siblings and half-siblings.
Mom's side:
older: Yadira (12 years older), Jamila (12 years older), Nasira (8 years older), Isis (5 years older), Nefret (5 years older), Layla (2 years older). (Yadira and Jamila were twins, as were Isis and Nefret.)
Dad's side:
older: William Jr (10 years older), Michael (7 years older), Aidan (3 years older)
younger: Destiny, Charity, Purity (5 years younger; triplets)
direct siblings (younger):
Kamil, Ramses (1 year younger; twins)
Her mother is Vartui, her father is William Sr. They were never married, her mother was a fling he had between wives. (Vartui was the older woman. Shay is her seventh daughter. Vartui herself has 6 older sisters.)

01Ophiuchus is also known as Serpentarius. It is the sign of the Goddess and usually represented by a woman (but sometimes a priest) holding two snakes. First of all; those pictures are sex on my screen. Beautiful.
As for personality: easy going and passionate tend to clash. Mostly in terms of RPing both aspects of a personality. Someone who is laid back and doesn't mind what they do, doesn't tend to then get active and excitable about everything they do; such people usually pick the activity. Not always, but it is hard to show in RP how these contradicting aspects can work together.
explosive might need to be expanded upon, especially if she's passionate. I can see it working really well with an easy-going personality, that she just lets others decide for her, and then one day, blows up at them.
I think senshi of desire would be cool.

Just out of curiosity, does she pronounce her last name like the family from Romeo & Juliet, or like the character from Fahrenheit 451? Mon-ta-gew or Mon-tag? Might be a good thing to know.
I had to look up Ophiuchus - apparently it's a part of the sidereal zodiac. Not everyone knows what that is, and I think that you should probably only include it if she considers herself by it personally, otherwise it's sort of confusing? And since it is a non-traditional sign, explain how she came to identify by it, whether through some teaching of her mother or through her own personal research. If she wouldn't know ICly to call herself an Ophiuchus as opposed to a Sagittarius, then there's not really a reason to call her one here.
I feel like her personality is solid, but there's not a big sense of her in it. You've got really bare-bones descriptions of all her traits, and there's no real sense of how she got to be who she is, how she reacts in certain situations, or any of her reasoning for her behavior - people are products of their circumstances, not free bodies floating independent of time, and it would be nice to see her have a bit more presence in her personality.
Also, you've got really "cool" flaws - that is to say, she hasn't really got anything that would weaken her, just things that make her a badass. So she's overconfident, she doesn't follow rules, and she has a temper, but what's she scared of? What does she do really poorly that gets her in trouble? Right now it seems like she has things that, even though you've called them flaws, they just make her seem more like an action hero.
The art you have is GORGEOUS and she's got a neat appearance, but the phrase "Hair the color of water" is throwing me - water can be clear, blue, teal, green, brown... you name it, water can be that color. From the art it seems like it's generally kind of a caribbean blue, so say that it's that color - does that make sense?
You've got a nice base, but you need to be more specific in what you're going for. Do a bit of work figuring out how her history fits into her personality and I think it'll help you. Good luck! smile

Her father is very well off, but she was raised by her mother, who is a bit abrasive. Shay manages to limp through almost anything with her own particular brand of Joie de vivre.
