Distinguishing Features: Amethyst Eyes: He has very noticeable amethyst colored eyes. Sometimes they seem to glow or radiate some kind of glow though that might be the trick of the light indoors and outdoors. Either way he wears glasses and can't seem to see as well without them if they are removed, it is not certain whether he has true vision problems or if it is some sort of strange psychological thing that he's fooled himself into because the glasses don't seem to be prescription lenses.
Dark Skin tone: His skin tone is a darkish approaching the tone of deep brown but just shy of it. It is a way to describe him if nothing else. His skin tone tends to make his eyes stand out a little more, but other than that there is nothing 'strange' or unique about it. He is simply an average everyday 'human' covered in normal human skin and nothing more it would seem...

Personality:
Kale behaves in a manner that is most peculiar, like he doesn't get out much and it is true. He doesn't get out much and tends to believe whatever anyone tells him with the utmost faith that they tell him the truth. He doesn't really seem to take it personal when someone yells at him or snarks at him. Despite the sweet and innocent demeanor he does have a bit of a feisty side to him that is starting to come out more and more as time goes on. He is also quite clever when he needs to be and sometimes tries to hide the fact that he is so 'sheltered'.
He is very obedient and devoted to Switch to the point where it might seem like a strange obsession, but really it is because he is truly bound to her. If she tells him to jump with enough authority he will ask how high. He does literally anything and everything Switch asks of him and that includes staying away from places he ought not to go in...
The dark man is a cheerful soul and perhaps seems a bit spaced out and constantly day dreaming if left idle. As long as he has a task on hand, however, he focuses on it and gives it his full attention and tries his best. He is, in a way, very nurturing and caring person and will do anything to protect Switch and the odd little misfit family they seemed to have formed together.
Odd Tidbits: Picky Eater: While he will eat what others make for him or offer him he will never find it as nourishing as if Switch were to make the same meal (even if remade poorly). He couldn't tell you why it is this way or if there's a way around it but he doesn't seem to be complaining either. Kale will try to politely pick at food given to him by others or claim that he was not hungry anymore - in the event he was complaining about hunger and Switch is nowhere nearby to make him something.
Obedience to Switch: He will do anything and everything to please Switch. She commands him to do something (or not do something) with enough conviction and will behind it he will do whatever he can to do as she wishes. It is positively and absolutely not within him to disobey her and if he were to try or she commands that he does something strange or impossible he will still try to do it and possibly go mad in the process if left at it for long enough.
He takes things literally: Tried and true expressions go a bit over his head sometimes. He tends to take them literally. Remarking about things that might seem common to most people will cause him mild confusion and much headtilting. If someone mentions that it is 'raining cats and dogs' he will often try to see the supposed feline-and-canine based weather phenomenon. Some might find it frustrating, some might find it amusing, and others might find it a tad odd.

Kale doesn't honestly recall a whole lot about his past other than one day he was 'aware' of his surroundings, the door to his room at laboratory was open and he was able to wander off into the great unknown. For all anyone knows it was done on purpose and the people that were studying him are now watching him as he interact with others on his day-to-day life. When he found Switch she was injured and lying amongst some grass while some sprinklers went off. He eventually got her to a hospital and from there they formed a friendship and soon a bond was made between them when Switch 'claimed' the young man by naming him since he did not have a name at the time (that he could recall).
Switch and Kale have formed a relationship of sorts since then and it only seems to grow with time.
Kale also seems to be becoming more and more aware of another ...being sharing his body. This entity within him is the cause of why Kale sometimes wanders off at random and returns two weeks later Kale's bond to Switch won't allow any longer separation than that. Kale never seems to have a memory of what happened when he wanders off just one day he returns and he is glad to be home with Switch again, until corrected on the situation he always believes he was gone for only a couple of hours...
It is unknown if the laboratory will ever work to reclaim him...Only time will tell.
