We are going to have an art contest for the guild. We have had the same banner for too long...and i know there are people in the guild that can make a banner way better than the one i made!!!
Sooo....we are going to have 2 weeks for you all to submit art for the contest before votes. If we don't get many submissions by then, i will consider giving a bit more time...but if not, you all have until March 3rd to send me your pics!
Please send them directly to me in a private message!! Do not post them on here. I will post them in a thread when the votes will start!!!

PS: Please keep in mind that banners must be 200 pixels wide by 40 pixels tall. If they are more than that, we can use them, but some pixels will be cut off...so i'd suggest keep it at 200x40. Thank you! smile
PPS: And, so you all know, there will be a reward in gold to the winner of the contest...and maybe to the 2nd and 3rd place as well... Have yet to figure out how much, kind of depends on how many people enter and if anyone donates gold for the reward. smile But, please know that donating gold to the guild will not help with the reward...there is no way for me to transfer the guild gold to another member of the guild...if you want to donate, PM me and we can work it out in a trade smile Thank you!!!

As of now, with my gold that i have offered to put up for reward as well as the donations made so far, we are looking at having these rewards (Note: These are NOT set in stone...still kind of hoping for more donations... And we NEED to have 3 or more people to submit possible banners!!!)
First Place: 60,000 g
Second Place: 35,000 g
Third Place: 23,000 g

Ok, one weeks' down since i've posted about the contest...and we've only gotten one submission

Soooo...i would like your feedback.... If you are hoping to make a submission to the guild contest, please let me know, even if you aren't done with it...
Also, do you think we should allow more then one more week for the submissions??? I want this to be a successful contest, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me feedback! Either in this thread or in a PM! smile

i don't know a lot of people who would be up for such a task...and to ask the couple i do know to create a bunch of banners would be somewhat unfair to them >.<

i don't know a lot of people who would be up for such a task...and to ask the couple i do know to create a bunch of banners would be somewhat unfair to them >.< Didn't say you have to ask one set of people. I think it's a little unfair to us. I mean I can draw but I don't want to go through all the trouble of setting there making a new banner and then being told "well nice try, but your drawing isn't good enough." I would rather have an Idea of mine being drawn in the classic stereotype of look like a Korean drew it for an anime that's all that is seen as good on the internet today. If you can't draw like a god you just can't draw. That's how most seen it. That's why I haven't draw any thing in over three years.

Hmmmm the only program i have for the moment is also paint so if I made one it would be very basic.... Ill see what i can do 3nodding
