Tama prances about happily chasing after a butterfly that floated above her just out of reach of her paws, it seemed to be playing with the cat rather than fleeing, as if knowing she meant it no harm.

He had wandered away from the safety of the haven his family resided in. He had long since got tired of being in the cramp hollow beneath the tree and especially of his sister. Determined to get out and get some air Kuma strolled along the grassy path to the stream, his five tails flicking. With every move the braids that were bound up into a ponytail clacked and rustled as he moved. From his bare shoulders a song played softly and a woman's voice could be heard. Closing his eyes he began to hum the tune to himself lowly before finally singing it aloud.

Tama continued batting playfully into the air till a new sound began to echo around her, the butterfly carelessly floating away and Tama looked around for the source of the music, she heard a new voice join in with the song and smiles a bit, she could use his voice to locate him, she happily set off in the direction of his voice and it wasnt long untill she was looking at a strange male, he had 5 tails she noted,that was rather odd. she shrugged to herself and padded out of the bushes where she was hideing " hi there!" she says in an almost sing-song voice " you sing good" she compliments with a smile

He nearly jumped out of his spots. Almost. Turning to face her, Kuma stiffened his shoulders for a moment before relaxing, "Uh....thanks." By now the music had stopped much like his singing. He blinked his deep red eyes and looked her over slightly. Besides his parents and sister he hadn't been around any other zunes. "I...uh.... didn't know anyone was around...."

she walks a bit closer and sits down curling her tail around her paws, still smileing " no worries, i just heard your singing and got curious, i like meeting new people, my name is Tama! whats yours?" she asks scooting forward a bit more and looking enthusiastic about meeting a possible new friend

Slightly flicking a ear the male tilted his head, "Kuma. My name is Kuma." With a nod to her he began to look around, "Are there others here with you."

she nods still smileing happily " its nice too meet you Kuma!" she says then tilts her head a bit at his question and watches him look around still with her head tilted to one side cutely " hmm.... nope! dont think so, unless im being followed by ninja's again" she says with a small gasp as she crouches low to the ground and looks around with shifty suspicious eyes, like a ninja could pop out at any time. she looked serious but there was a gleam of amusement in her eyes

He blinked at her wide eyed for a moment. "Do...they stalk you often?" He was starting to believe her.

tama nods slowly peering around cautiously "oh yes, they are everywhere, they think they can hide from me, but i see them all the time" she says looking to one side and spotting a beetle "ah! a ninja spy!" she squeals before springing to her paws and playfully batting at the beetle that had crawled up near them, the little beetle, having had enough of this, opened its wings and flew away she stands there grinning triumphantly " did you see that? i chased that ninja spy away all by myself!" she says sitting back down with her chest puffed out proudly

"Pfft!" He snorted then began to laugh softly, "A mighty fighter indeed. I should be grateful you were here to defend me from that terrible menace."

she grins widely at seeing him playing back and puffs her chest out further if that was even possible "oh yes! ninja's tremble in my presence!" she says then smiles a bit mischievously " i saved you from the ninja spy menace, so that means your in my debt! you have to be my friend now!" she says hopping back to her feet smiling brightly at him

she shuffles forward a few paw steps and pouts cutely then lowers her head a little giving him a version of the puppy-dog face "pleeeeeeeeeease?" she whines almost pathetically

"Oh geez, how can I say no to that." he said softly, "Alright, alright. I'll be your friend." he said with a gentle chuckle, "Just don't luck at me like that. You'll make my heart sad."
