Note: Tribe name and rank/occupation names are subject to change.
>>Insert Banner Here when tribe name is concrete<<
You happen upon a clearing, devoid of the soft mud and bountiful foliage that litter the swamp. In the center is a large, flat stone, with various logs surrounding it. There is evidence that these logs were moved here by a strong kimeti or two, as there are trails left behind. On the platform stands a large-horned buck. Beside him are two does. He welcomes you with a smile. This is his tribe, Those-Who-Walk-With-Many. He beckons you to follow him, as there is much to explain, young Yearling

About the Tribe
This tribe is harem based. That means each buck has one or more doe in his group, called a harem. More info on ranks are found in the next post. Does in a harem are expected to breed with, or somehow be useful to the buck. How you choose the does in your harem, or which harem you want your doe to join, is completely up to you. Young kimeti can join the tribe as well, and are not expected to participate in the harem activities until adulthood. They are expected, if a parent is present in the harem, to be apart of that harem. Does may stay in said harem after reaching adulthood or leave to join another harem. Bucks can stay if the stud of the harem allows it, but usually they will leave to form their own harem. If no parent is present in the tribe, the young kimeti may be taken in by another adult as their adoptive parent. Family values are very important in this tribe. While the child may have a sire in a large harem, all does in a harem will care for the child like their own. The members of the tribe are expected to cherish children. They also believe in bonds. Once you accept a buck's invitation to a harem, you are expected to stay in it for life. It is unusual and looked down upon for a doe to leave a harem, unless the stud approves. A stud or stallion and his broodmare are expected to be somewhat like lifemates. While the buck may still breed with other does, the broodmare is still technically his mate, and has priority and power over the hinds. Members of the tribe are also expected to breed. They value creation and life, and the thought of producing more of their kind. This can be for many reasons: keeping a bloodline alive, passing on certain traits, bolstering the kimeti population, or simply a symbol of love. Some harems only consist of a stud and his broodmare, as they are dedicated only to each other. If you have any questions, just pm The Adorable Panda

Ranks
Stallion- A high ranking male that has his own harem. The harem must have at least four does in it, and one must be his Broodmare.
Broodmare- A high ranking doe that is the main female of a harem. She has the highest power of the does in said harem. They are often "lifemates" of the Stallion and are loyal only to him. No other bucks can breed with a broodmare unless they are her stallion.
Stud- A normal ranking male with his own harem. The harem must have at least one doe in it, and does not have to be his Broodmare.
Hind- A normal ranking doe that is a part of a male's harem. She has some power, and no buck may breed with her without the stud's consent.
Gelding- A term for an adult male without a harem. Usually when bucks come of age, they are to take a doe as their own and start a harem, but if they fail, they are looked down upon until they get a female.
Barren- A term for haremless does. Whether no buck will take them, or they were kicked out of a harem, they are still part of the tribe, but have little power. They, too, are looked down upon until they join a harem.
Yearling- A young kimeti that has no harem, or is a member of no harem. They are too young for one and are not expected to have a harem, though it is encouraged for them to start looking for other kimeti their age for future harems.

Current Scouts: None
