Caeruleus's Challenge Caeruleus challenge has arrived. This challenge goes out to anyone who thinks that bug Pokemon are weak. These Pokemon are not your everyday Caterpie bugs either. These bugs have trained hard through rigorous EV work, selective breeding, and battle tower challenges. They await your challenge, and would love to change the way you see bug pokemon. Disclaimer: Some of the Pokemon in the team are not specifically bug typed Pokemon, but they are in the bug egg group.Ever since I completed Pokemon Heart Gold, I now have several other Pokemon in stock that can provide an extra challenge. For Caeruleus's challenge all you have to do is beat a Bug themed team, but I'll use my other powerhouse pokemon upon request. Read on for the official rules of Caeruleus's Challenge.

Rules of the Challenge 1. Caeruleus's challenge will be conducted with a level cap of 100. Don't worry if your Pokemon are not that high yet, they will be temporarily raised during the battle. 2. No legendary Pokemon are permitted to enter Caeruleus challenge. (Thats because there are no legendary bug Pokemon besides Arceus) Phione and Rotom are acceptable. 3. If you cut out in the middle of the battle then you'll enter our Wall of Shame list. Don't be a sore loser. 4. Your win or lose count will be recorded for everyone to see, as well as the team that you faced. Keep that in mind when taking Caeruleus's challenge. 5. If you lose, you must post "My Pokemon are not stronger then a bug". (I'm kidding you don't really have too)

How to Participate 1. Post a reply to this forum stating your name and friend codes so we can find each other. After we have added each others friend codes you are officially in the challenge. (You'll know that I've added you because I'll have your name listed on my Pal Pad list). 2. PM me whenever were both online and you feel like battling someone. I'm usually looking for a good battle. 3. I have two team roasters. They are bug theme and full force. Be sure to include the team that you feel like battling in the PM. Each team will be recorded separately. 4. Do not tell me your team, I enjoy a surprise. 5. If you want to battle me multiple times thats cool as well. Each of those battles will be recorded, unless you choose to battle off the record. 6. Have fun

Caeruleus's Special Events There may be times when I chose to set aside time and be available for a battles for a certain period of time. When this happens I will post the scheduled time frame here for you to see and prepare for. During these special events I will only be using one of my team roasters, and which one will vary by event. The event theme and special rules will be announced before they happen. Whether or not the events battles are recorded will vary be event.There are no events scheduled at this time.

You do realize that over Wi-fi you can set a pokemon's levels to a default level of 50 or 100, right? It completely eliminates the need for having to level-up your pokemon. neutral
Edit: I'll take your challenge. Since I already have two battles for tomorrow, why not make it 3?

heh i think my pokemon have something to challenge you with, send a PM when your on or want to battle, cap the battle at 100 for yourself cause i spent a long time leveling my pokemon and im not gonna lower there level for anything

I've used a Bug team before, so I expect to know pretty much whatever you feel like throwing my way. And as the other two have stated, you can have your Pokémon raised to 100 for the battle during Wi-fi.

I heard of that on Pokemon Battle Revolution, but I never imagined that Diamond and Pearl would have that feature too. I'm going to do some Google searching, and if so change the rules of the challenge. The rules of Caeruleus's challenge have been changed, as well as the instructions on "How to Participate". The challenge is now capped at level 100.

I ended up getting the New Heart Gold version!!! heart I'm so excited!
I'm going to be occupied getting my Pokemon caught up, so I'm closing Caeruleus's Challenge. I'll make a new challenge with multiple different teams after I master Johto.
