I'll have more to post up eventualy but so far I've got a quick concept for one of the characters, when I'm in the mood for actionscript again I'll start making the game, which is going to be a side-scrolling platformer/action game (think sonic/golden axe/double dragon) that's all i've come up with now, once my muse is recovered from it's long absence I should have a story and such planned out, but for now I give you a quick and rather small sketch of the Cheshire cat :  (He was drawn in Iscribble so forgive the lack of detail) Also, while I remember, If anyone has any Thoughts or Ideas ( Be that plot ideas, character/enemy designs, even quirky little bits of script once I start writing a propper story) All are appreciated ^ ^

Work In Progress Concepts: A front-view, Rear-view and a close up of his mask. These are mostly to show his markings when I get around to adding colours. The far Right image is the first of a few movement concepts, to make him easier for me to animate ( Or at least that's the idea sweatdrop ) Some half finished Caterpillar art, Still alot of stuff to work on but I like it so far, had to exhange the hookah for a cigarette for now but once I learn to draw them I may change it back.

Oh wow, I like the style. o.o And yay for not making him too humanish for once! You deserve a cookie because everyone seems to do that. Not that I mind but its done a lot is all. XD
I actually now want to play it from just seeing the artwork. I'd love it if the Caterpillar was in the game somewhere, he doesn't get as much attention as some of the other characters.
Anyway I'd really like to see more character concepts. ^_^

I have a pretty annoyingly long day today buut I should get at least one more sketch or a bit of colouring done to post up later on.
As for the Caterpillar..He actualy sounds like a good NPC/Narrator/Guide character so I'll see what I can work up ( See if I can get over my fear of drawing anything with more than four legs XD )

Argh. Caterpillers are hard. All I've come up with so far is the old-age stereotype.
Hookahs = Hippies
Hippies = Bright colours, Long hair, Weird tie-dyed clothing
...And that from a frontal view caterpillars look like they're wearing some majourly huge glasses/facemasks/skiing goggles...
I don't know how that sounds with you guys but it's pulling up some..Pretty interesting combinations in my head -facedesk-

Why don't you consult the original illustration or other adaptations of the Caterpillar for ideas? Remember, he's blue...! The book says so. ^_^

Could make him one of the fluffy catterpillars..Then I could tie that in with the whole..Hippie thing too..
I don't know whether to give him a mask too or not..

INSPIRATION!
has just struck me like a brick to the face.
Caterpillar eyes don't look like glasses. THEY LOOK LIKE VENETIAN FACE MASKSSSS~ (oh i'm so smart~ rofl )
Thus my caterpillar is going to be wearing a venetian facemask (with a handle) with some kind of butterfly print or something on it. (with a very scary face underneath D: or no face at all..Deppending on if I feel lazy or not)
And by that reasoning...HE...may become a SHE -dun dun DUUNNNN-
Okay..Hyper moment aside. Back to work. -facescoot-

Hmm..The rabid white rabbit, sounds good.. Orrrr if I can figure out how to work it in, perhaps not a rabbit at all >:U because clockwork bunnies just seem so much more fun (taking the pocket watch a step further whooo)
