what do you all think about it?
my little brother intends to get it for me as a day after xmas present, but im not exactly sure i want it.....i watched the first 5 minutes of american wedding and i was a little startled.....even after 1&2.....
anyone totally anticipating its arrival?
and how close do you think it will be to an actual band camp? i imagine it wont be that close since they're mostly poking fun at it.....

I saw the commercial for it and I don't think its going to be like band camp at all. You have to go to band camp to know what its like and those people have probably never touched an instrument befor the movie..... rolleyes

I most likely won't see it, but it is true, unless you experience band camp, you can't do a movie on it, usually its a what happens at band camp stays at band camp sort of thing

i havent heard anything of it...i guess you could say i don't get out much, but it's never been on tv.
i might watch the movie just to see what it's like.but i wouldn't want to buy it. band camp is some total experience not potrayed in the other movies.......... sweatdrop

I don't know, really. I saw a preview, but I wasn't paying attention to anything that was being said. It could be good, but most likely it'll be insulting to anyone affiliated with a band. 3nodding

Well I've never seen any of the American Pie movies all I know is that when band is mentioned in school you always get something stupid refering to Drumline or "This one time at band camp!" I wanna shoot them and the people who wrote it. As for that movie, I wonder what the hell band inspired them to do that. Our band camp could also double as a commercial for a Corectional Facility Camp.

Saw it last night! It was really funny but had alot of nudity in it. But that's what you get with American Pie. The guy that plays Stifler's younger brother is just like him but, he is super H-O-T. They did call the English Horn a Oboe which was a stupid mistake. Band camp was more of a band competition to see which band can get the highest points and take home some trophy. Plus its more fun then regurler band camp. Well I loved it. You guys should see it just for the humor.

It was hilarious you would have to be a band nerd to appreciate it.One thing I didn't like was that they called us Bandeez not Band Nerds if you gonna make fun of us then get our nick names right lol.But I loved the movie it was awsome.And I did smile through it none stop and it was gross what do you think it is American Pie..lol.But that horn wasn't an Oboe it was and English Horn if you looked at the shape of it you would noticed that it was shapped a little different.

Yeah, I saw it last night...it wasn't extremely horrible, and it did have a lot of naked chicks in it...yuck...but Stifler's little bro was hot, and this other guy on another band (who was a total jerk, he played snare drum though) was really hot too. Ha ha I wish my band camp would have hot guys like that in it. Instead we only have the guys who go to our school. But they're not bad, I guess. I thought it was funny, but I'd rather be called a Bando or band nerd...and it pissed me off when they called that english horn an oboe, I'm sitting there yelling at the tv "That's no oboe dammit!" you can tell by the bell, it's really round. but funny, I think. They weren't making fun of us or anything! you just have to see it i guess.

oh, and near the end, they do have colorguard-ish girls in it, they don't have flags and their uniforms are more like cheerleaders, and they're total bitches. Nothing like a real colorguard, all they really do is prance around in front of the band and act like they're dancing and strike a freaky pose. A real colorguard has talent. (How would I know, I'm just a flutie?)

Yes go fluties! I wanted at Piccardo picollo even though they don't excist. I just want the case really. Yeah they had the cheerleaders, no colorguard. ******** cheerleaders (I was one so yeah... I stress the was) xp OH yeah.
