Alright, when iwas about 9 or 10 my mom was always going and taking me to her guy "friends" house who's name was richard. I never knew why but ever since i met him i always got this bad feeling like he was gonna do something bad but i didnt know what. then once when my mom was gonna invite him over i got so sick of it and told her the "bad vibes" i got from him and she said i was over-reacting.
Then now my mom is dating this friggen old guy and he always like act's nice to me but idk if hes really nice or not. i mean i read alot of stories about rape and see that the people always act nice but then they go and rape you when your alone. Dx am i just over-reacting or something?

keep a knife in your shoe for self defense at all times when he's there. Your not over-reacting, it's a pretty big chance that rape is about to happen. Keep the knife with you.

You are probably not overreacting. Just be cautious and be prepared for anything. It is good to keep a knife on you. that way you are prepared if he tries anything.

Your are not over reacting I have the same feeling. Just be prepared for the worse and keep something like a knife around u at all times.

You are defiantly not overreacting. I suggest staying out of the room alone with him and possibly be able to use self defense to any level.

Don't keep a small knife with you,cuddle with a butcher knife at all times D:<

You are not over-reacting.. Not at all.. Don't stay in a room alone with him.. Keep your distance if you want.. The knife thing is not a bad idea.. But I doubt you'll be wearing a shoe 24/7. So maybe know where blunt objects are it the room, and something that can be quickly reached for.

Well then i can see everyone here sense's a definate rapist.
I would say your either insane or over reacting.
When you think about it people, everyone AND I MEAN EVERYONE, is a potential rapist.
For god's sake your mom could rape you.
It's not a big deal when your alawys prepared, i mean im a guy so the chances of rape are lower, but being jumped or anything i alawys carry a combat knife. o. e, just saying everyone could rape you. Keep your wit's about you. If it happen's it happen's if it doesnt it doesnt.
Everything happens for a reason.

I can't say you're over reacting since everyone gets bad vibes.
I think that just reading all of the people's stories, you've tried putting yourself into their situation. So now when you see a guy who acts nice around you, you sometimes think 'rape'.
Of course I'm not saying you should suddenly let your guard down but just try not to think about situations ending up in rape.

Keep a pepper spray with you, put it either in your shoe or pocket. Use the peper spray at the eyes (use it when eyes are open) You should buy pepper spray, they really work.

You are most likely not over reacting,And yes,You SHOULD keep a weapon of self-defense with you at ALL TIMES and make sure there are HIDDEN blunt objects around your room,because if they're out in the open he could grab those and hit you with it,for for the love of god we do NOT want that.I'm unfortunatly a victim and i refuse to let anyone feel the pain that i felt that horrible day,so i'll try to help you so your not tramatized for the rest of your life.There is always a possibilty that he could just be friendly,but never,EVER let your guard down.And if your that paranois about it put a knife or switchblade under you mattress,not your pillow.A kife under your pillow is a safety hazard,so the mattress is a much better idea.And one more thing,try to be with somebody else when your around him,NEVER BY YOURSELF.NEVER EVER EVER BY YOURSELF!! Try to be with a friend or your mom or anybody,but please for me,NEVER by yourself because that's where they have the advantage.
