Name: Lin Winters
Age: 11 Years (Adult Stage)
Race: Human/Angel
About: Lin Winters was born (adopted) into the ever growing Winters clan, her parents being Kara Winters and Donovan Lau. She was born from a vase, and from possibly day one had big plans for herself.
Lin grew up an unusual child spending half of her life in Gaia and the other half in another world on a continent called the Four Lands where there are normally only three races. Humans, elves and dwarfs. Lin, grew up with a strong connection to the elves and as a child wanted to sail with her best friend Earendil Aldrich of the Southland.
When she became an adult she did just that sailing to discover along side her friends and family, the Night Elves and the Sky Elves. Her life though was turned upside by the arrival of Miyuki delivered via stork. Now having taken part in the great circle of life in her clan, Lin is now Miyuki's mother. Who has decided (thanks to her nephew Kaito) that she will travel and somehow raise Miyuki at the same time.
Little does she know, that this choice is what will help Miyuki grow and thrive.

Kara Winters & Donovan Lau: They are Miyuki's grandparents, and were thrilled when her mother followed in the family's footsteps. Aunts and Uncles: Her mother came from a large family, so she has many aunts and uncles. Cousins: Her aunts and uncles tended to adopt as well so she has a lot of cousins as well.
Mi & Long Lau: Miyuki's great-grandparents, her mother seems to avoid her great-grandmother for some odd reason.
Daemon Winters: Her other great-grandfather who is trapped in a sword.
Earendil: Is now her ada, which Miyuki is quite happy about. Andarien: Is her little brother, they're quite different from each other. Amairahc: Is her childhood and best friend, though with the time difference and her stage growing he's often younger than her. River: Is another friend of Miyuki's who went traveling with them when they took a trip around the Four Lands. Kin: Her mother's friend, he's a bit on the shy side and very easy to wrap around her tails. Raven: Her mother's friend, she's a bit strange but cool.
Quinn: Raven's boyfriend, he's a bit of a dope. YanYu: Her mother's friend and knows all sorts of neat things about the arts.

Information:
Miyuki, like a good portion of Gaia's children was brought by a stork. Since the Winters' family has a long history of adopting from any race, Miyuki of course was not only, obviously not related to Lin, but she is a kitsune. It didn't help matters that her mother had just arrived home from her long sailing trip to find herself saddled with a little girl.
Fortunately though, her mother was like her grandmother and Miyuki became the darling daughter of one Lin Winters. Making Miyuki the soon to be most traveled baby in the world. Though seemly only a few months old, Miyuki already has established a few preferences.
She likes sucking on tails, feathers and fingers and she really, really likes Earendil. Her mother's childhood friend, probably because Earendil spoils her.
It doesn't help that Miyuki is a very cute and adorable baby.

Information:
At this stage in her life Miyuki can walk and run just about anywhere. She's also learned the skill of opening doors, almost nothing is safe from her.
She's just learning to talk, and is able to understand better the things around her. Though at times her lack of words is frustrating, especially since she can't explain to her Mummi and Earendil why she thinks they should always be together. Things are very simple. It's her, her Mummi and her Earendil.
Miyuki has also begun to show a bit of personality at this stage. She's a bit vindictive at which gets her into a great amount of trouble.

Information:
At the physical age of six, Miyuki is like any other normal child. She loves to play, and explore, but yet the return home from when she was a two tailed kitsune has left her a bit clingy to her parents. She is just beginning to understand how unusual her parents are, but not quite yet be able to understand they are not married, or even why they cannot sleep in the same room together.
The first of Miyuki's gifts has awakened at this point, the ability to shape shift, but she can only take the form of a fox with three tails. In her fox form she is the size of a young kit and has greater agility and speed within this form.
She has also begun to learn her languages which consist of Common Tongue, High Elven, Common Elven, Japanese and Chinese. Common Elven and Common Tongue though are the only languages she had learned well. Common Tongue being the language she grew up with and Common Elven was learned because of her parents traveling.
As it turns out Miyuki cannot swim, her tails have made her a dead weight in the water. Something she was a bit disappointed about.
Miyuki over all is a bundle of energy, she gets up early, and plays hard. She is sometimes easily excitable at this age, which is why it is good she spends a good deal of time playing with other children.

Information:
Physically, Miyuki is nine, but compared to a normal elven child she could be mistaken for a six year old. While still clingly sometimes, she is slowly understanding the joys of playing on her own or with other children. She can't quite bring herself to explore without her parents and is awfully shy around new people. Perhaps it is a remnant of her last stage, if it is, she doesn't remember it. Since Miyuki grows up with more stages than her mother and more closely to a normal child, there are bits a pieces of her past she doesn't remember like all children. Like her mommy's friends who all seem to know her even though she doesn't know them.
Her gift hasn't developed any further than it already has. She could never be mistaken though for a normal fox since she has as many tails in her fox form as she does in her real form. There does not seem to be any interest for her to learn magic, but then again Lin isn't quite equipped to teach Miyuki magic.
Her education has also expanded by this age, it is time for her to train and learn weapon work. Her ada is teaching her that, but she hasn't found a weapon that she's comfortable with. Blades, such as the knife or sword is not something she is fond of, though she is content in practicing hand to hand combat. By this point she has a firm understanding of Common Elvish and Ancient Tongue, but has yet to really learn High Elven. Japanese comes naturally to her, and it might have something to do with her species and the fact she's a stage grower.
At the moment Miyuki is learning the flute and horseback as well. The first she chose for herself and the second is because soon they'll be traveling by horseback throughout the Four Lands.
Her mommy and ada are now married much to her delight, but she has discovered she now has to sleep on her own. If it weren't for Senka this might have been a difficult adjustment. Miyuki doesn't like to admit it, but she likes the extra room that sleeping by herself gives her.

Information:
At five tails, Miyuki looks like a fourteen year old girl. Though by this age, it is normal for the elves of Arda to consider her nearly an adult (as sixteen is adulthood), she still hasn't settled down enough or shown the full maturity of her age. Much to her mother's relief she has begun to wander more with her friends and sometimes on her own. Letting her curiousity (or boredom lead her).
At this point she has learned all the elven languages available to her. Though she is the most proficient in Common Elvish as that is the language that gets used most often. She is becoming aware of where her talents lie and what she is interested in. Though she still does not seem to have any skill with blades, Miyuki has shown at least some fighting skill with a staff. This would be a good thing as she has also shown some magic potential, probably the result of her kitsune heritage. From her great-grandfather she has begun to learn how to sense the magic of those around her.
Her ability to shapeshift has grown, as she can now hide her tails and ears. However, as a result of being raised among elves, instead of a human alternative form, she has an elven one. Though her hair colouration stays the same. It is unknown if her hair and eye colour can change at this time.
