A'jel had never been what anyone would call social, even before the 'accidental' impression of Vogieth and he. Still, even the blue eyed rider couldn't stay away from society forever no matter how much he'd rather stay in his weyr with his bonded. Since birth A'jel had been very poorly socialized. It only stood to reason that now now he should be the recluse that he is.

He was to meet his father at the Smith Hall where the older man worked. At least, that was the message he'd gotten a few hours ago. A heavy sigh escaped from him as he stood impatiently by the entrance of the Hall. That man was never good with timing.

It made A'jel uncomfortable to be standing out there. There were other people, so many other people around, probably paying him no mind at all, but that's not how it was in his mind.

Vogieth, I'm beginning to worry...

Don't, mine. Maybe you should find something to keep you buisy while you wait!

That was Vogieth for you. Always trying to get him in on the social game. Poor Vogieth knew though that the only way it'd ever work was if A'jel was forced into it.

Soril had finished packing up the medical case he kept looped on his belt, and smiled at the craftsman. "It'll heal up in just a few days - enough that you can use it, at least. Just don't get any dirt in it." The man thanked him, and Soril bowed to take his leave.

It was coincidence, that he had ended up acting as his original rank of Journeyman Healer, since he now tended to work exclusively with dragons. He had been nearby when the accident had happened, so he had hurried once word had reached him. He was still a Healer, after all.

On his way out, he noticed a man near the entrance, looking impatient - not that Soril was great at reading people, other than the difference between pain and comfort. He shrugged and bowed as he passed by - he wasn't wearing his Candidates clothing, but was wearing the colors of a Dragonhealer "Good day," he said with a smile and a pause in his step.

It took A'jel a moment to realize he was being talked to, and even then he just blinked before coming to a response.
"a-er, Good day," and there was a split second greeting smile. The tight lipped kind that people give when greeting each other in passing. "Hey," A'jel wondered if this guy might know the whereabouts of his father, "Did you see an elderly man in there hunched back, cropped hair, short beared?" okay, that described a lot of old men. "He fires glass and also works with clay." that was probably no better.

A'jel's father was such a simple man with no major remarkable traits. He truly blended right in unlike A'jel himself who felt like he stuck out like a sore thumb -- dark tanned skin(from his mother) blue eyes and blond hair(from his father) kept in a long ponytail with shorter layers about his face.(lol, dragon rider with an awesome mullet, yes.) Again though, it was all in his own perception. No one really payed him near that much mind - except when he does something to bring it towards him, most notably in frustration and embarrassment fueled tantrums.

The Dragonhealer stopped his slowed step a bit awkwardly, not expecting anything more than a passing, polite greeting. "Ah..." He thought a moment, searching his memory of the people in the room. There had been quite a few, but he didn't remember any of them being too much older than himself. "I don't believe so," he said, glancing at the door before returning his gaze to the stranger. He flashed a quick smile, "But then again, I'm no Harper, so I don't really have a memory for that sort of thing..."

Soril now took a moment to look the guy over. He was clearly a rider, and he had seen around on occasion, though never tended to his dragon in any way. I don't know his name, though, even with as few riders as there are now-a-days... Huh!
