Noah's hands shook as he stood in front of a propped-up mirror in a small white tent. His eldest daughter was helping him put on each piece of the heavily layered tuxedo, and he smiled at her, shaken and nervous and above all excited to the very core of his being. His ring finger felt bare without the engagement ring around it and he flexed those shaking fingers, trying to get the almost painful smile to come away from his face. He glanced toward Adhara and chuckled weakly. "I'm dreaming, aren't I?" he asked, voice betraying his frazzled nerves.
Adhara laughed, more happy and excited for her guardian than she was nervous, though she wasn't really the one going into a lifelong commitment. Both of the two of them [Noah and Silas, that is] had various different people in there little lineup. Noah had a Maid of Honor and a few groomsmen and bridesmaids, and Silas had a Best Man and, also, had a few groomsmen and bridesmaids. Her daughter was the flower girl, and Adelle's best friend was the ring bearer. Tears shimmered at the edges of her amber eyes and she practically tackled her guardian, hugging him tightly with all four torso-limbs. "I'm so happy for you, Daddy!!"
The park that Adelle's granddad had chosen for the wedding was huge and pretty and it had all the room in the world to be able to run about and roll and other things. But, surprisingly enough, that wasn't what Adelle was doing; not at all. Rather, as a result of previous events that had transpired between the both of them, she was busy just walking around the pond in the middle of the park, her left hand intertwined with Fitzroy's in the way only her hands could be. In her frilly pink dress, sure she was excited for Noah and Silas' wedding. But right now, this was what she wanted to be exploring. Old people just weren't that interesting.

Silas was, for lack of a better phrase, on fire. Such a mixture of anger, embarrassment, and exhilaration coursed through him that he was surprised that he hadn't combusted by now. He certainly had felt like doing so for the past... Kings, it had felt like forever since Noah had started planning this... ridiculous thing. A blush that had been present from the time he'd woken up deepened greater as his daughter happily fluttered around him, fitting his tuxedo to him much in the same way that Adhara was doing for Noah. He tried to keep the nervousness out of his voice as he asked "So, do I look completely ridiculous or what?"
Lirona giggled excitably at her dad's adorable question and shook her head as she did up his buttons for him, a glowing smile on her face. From her smile, it looked like she was the one getting married instead of her dad. "No, Daddy, you look super-perfect, I promise! White's a really good color for you; Noah did a good job with the colors." She hummed blissfully to herself as she pinned Silas' boutonniere on properly, Jake swaying in time to some version of 'Here Comes the Bride.' This kind of atmosphere was obviously the kind that the transgirl thrived in. Nothing could really upset her today, not even the fact that Aludra had been more or less ignoring her as of late. This day was going to be absolutely wonderful, period. Or so she vowed to herself as she brushed her nervous father's hair, giving it a small kiss as she did so. "You're gonna be fine, Daddy. I promise."
Fitzroy felt like skipping, but for once restrained himself. He didn't know if Adelle wanted to skip too, and it would definitely be awkward for him to start if they were holding hands and all. An irrepressible smile was shining on his face as he walked around the lake with his best friend, maybe girlfriend, in his super-fancy white tuxedo that his dad had told him about a jillion times to keep clean. And so he was side-stepping puddles and mud with the agility of a ninja, trying to do so without disturbing Adelle. He giggled out of pure excitement, and glanced towards the girl. "You look super-pretty, Adelle! Isn't this so neat? I still can't believe we get to help with the wedding!"

Tykier flew into the park to see the happy family. He was wearing his tux that he had worn for Adhara's school dance. Ty, luckily got it fixed up for this big day for Noah's wedding. Earlier, he had dropped off Kyler to a ball made by his friend's mom. But that's not important right now, what is important is the wedding. As soon as he saw Noah, Adhara, Adelle, and Lirona, he yelled, "Hey! I'm here!" Tykier had a big smiled on his face.

Elisabetta's heels clipped a pretty tune as she sashayed up to the gathering crowd. She took a deep breath, her smile becoming more animated as she looked around. The only time she'd seen a wedding was in magazines and movies, so it was a bit surreal to be here. "Oh, wow." Lissy pulled a digital camera from between her breasts and started taking pictures.
Since she didn't own anything formal or with any appropriate coverage at all, Lo had given her Gabrielle's old dress. Though her mother was in her college years when it was bought, it fit the preteen like a glove. Looking around through the camera lens, she spotted Adelle and Fitzroy, but before she could approach them Tykier arrived. His yell scared her enough to cause her to panic, her camera flying up in the air and in her mad dash to grab it she almost lost it to the ground when her longer tentacle snatched it. "Nice save! Whoo, I thought it was gonner. How can we make memories without a camera?"

Llujah ran happily through the entrance of park, spinning around whenever he had the chance and showing off his new dress. It was a knee-length polka-dotted dress with hearts and pink dots on it. On his arms were pink ribbon sleeves that had small bows tied onto it. In his hair was a pink headband with a fake rose glued onto it by Belinda and on his feet were brand new pink sandals. The final touch was one of those rub-off tattoos on his right cheek shaped like a heart. All in all, he looked like the epitome of Valentine's Day. He smiled and shouted excitedly, "C'mon, Mamma! We gotta hurry! Fitzy and 'Delle should be here!" Behind Llujah came Belinda in her best dress: a simple powder blue dress with white trimmings. She walked calmly behind her son, her face one of happiness. "All right, Llu, just slow down a little!"
Llujah's wings fluttered excitedly and his tail twitched violently. He could hardly contain his joy. There were so many people here and they all seemed so happy. But from all of the faces that Llu could pick out in the crowd, none of them were of his two friends. He frowned and ran through the crowds of people, searching for the two he had met. Along the edge of the crowd, Llu found a small pond where he thought to be the center of the park. His eyes scanned all around him and eventually rested on a pair of older kids on the other edge of the pond. He giggled and raced along the edge of the pond towards the pair, recognizing them right away as his two friends. He started waving when he got closer to them. "Hiya, Fitzy! Hiya, 'Delle!"
Belinda smiled as she scanned the crowds. Llu had disappeared somewhere... probably off to find his two friends. In the meantime, the Eilian had time to mingle and to congratulate the couple getting married. She felt slightly awkward here, having not technically received an invitation, but her son knew the granddaughter of the groom... or bride... or whatever, and he knew the son of a friend of the family? She wasn't terribly sure, but she had ties, so by social standards, she was allowed to be here! Right? Belinda bit her lip lightly. She should probably find someone she knew first...
The Eilian scanned the crowd, ears perked for any familiar voices when she heard someone shout their arrival. She turned towards the sound and spotted that young man she saw at the aquarium. She sighed gratefully: even if the man was only a minor acquaintance, they knew each other nonetheless. At least, Belinda hoped that the young man would remember her so it wouldn't be awkward. She casually walked up to him and smiled. "Weddings are very beautiful, aren't they?"

Adelle was definitely feeling all of the mushy, gooey, lovey-dovey atmosphere of the V-day wedding, and her new attachment to Fitzroy was certainly not deterring any of those surprisingly welcome feelings. As such, a pale pink blush sashayed across her dual-coloured face and she giggled at the compliment, clinging with both hands to her glutton-friend's arm, burying her nose in the shoulder of his nice white suit, looking up while she hid there, wiggling a bit and causing the both of them to pause their trip around the lake. When she finally emerged from her hiding place, it was to steal a quick kiss from the other boy before giggling in an endearingly giddy way, stepping away from the boy and staring at the ground, face growing more and more red by the moment.
"Thanky, Fitzyroy~ You look really han'some, too," she said, giggling and then smiling at the mention of the wedding, attention deficit mind already away from the embarrassment of only moments ago and now onto the future. "I know, right?! It's so exciting!!" she squealed, bouncing a bit and fluttering her dangerous wings, which had a bit of her mom's old raver paint on parts of it, all in hearts and swirls for the occasion. When the little ball of greedy diligence ran up to the two, Adelle squealed in surprise and fell against Fitzroy again, quickly moving to off-set the weight balance, tugging him back and making sure neither of them fell or in any way got their fancy clothes dirty. Despite the near-dirt-experience, Adelle still giggled happily at the sight of Llujah, ruffling his dual-coloured hair and smiling brightly. "Hello little 'Llu!! Are you here for the wedding, too?"
Noah stumbled a bit, taken aback by his daughter's excitement and he nervously pat her on the back, that too-big smile still overtaking his tanned face. "I can tell," he said, chuckling awkwardly and kissing her cheek. Still grinning like a maniac, she turned to grab the boutonniere that had been purchased somewhere in everything, pinning it to his lapel as she then moved to take her own flowers, a wristlet that she wore with a proud smile on her face. That was when she heard Ty's voice and jumped up. Pinching one of her dad's cheeks, she ran off to meet up with her friend, grinning wildly as she tackled him into a hug.
That was, of course, when she noticed the Eilian who'd been speaking to him and jumped down, blushing faintly and too preoccupied to notice as Noah snuck quietly into Silas' tent, somehow managing to blend into the green-and-white background before he waited behind a table for Lira to leave the tent as well. After all, surely the transgirl would have something to say about 'unlucky to see the bride before the wedding'. Once more, they were both male, neither of them were in a dress. There were no brides.

((Apparently Ty's getting some attention! Yay for him! xD))
Tykier looked behind him, and blushed, "Oh, sorry, Lissy... I didn't mean to freak you out..." The man turned to see the Eilian, and smiled, "Yup... I never been to one, really. This is my first..." His voice trailed off as he noticed another girl, and Ty smiled. "Excuse me for a moment, please," and he walked off to see Adhara.

Llujah giggled madly and smiled as Adelle ruffled his hair which took so long to finally get to behave. The toddler did not care, though. He laughed and pulled away from the older girl slightly, twirling on his toes which made his dress fan out. "Heya, 'Delle! And yeah! Me and m' mama are here f'r the weddin'! I'm real real real excited 'bout it! And and!" Llujah began twirling his dress some more for Adelle. "D' you like my new dress? I picked it myself!" All the while, the two tiny wings on Llu's hips were flapping so hard it seemed that he might take flight, and his tail was twitching furiously.
Belinda, meanwhile, continued to roam the crowds. She couldn't see many other people that she could recognize and the growing size of the crowd made her uncomfortable. She then decided to talk to the young woman who hugged Tykier a few moments ago. Belinda walked over to her and smiled. She had two odd tentacle-seeming things coming from her hips and two large wings, but the woman was still very beautiful. "Hello," she said to the woman. "It is beautiful, yes? The wedding, I mean." Belinda chuckled sheepishly (which was all very well, considering she was a sheep). "I am not even completely sure why I am here, other than the fact that my son, Llujah, is friends with Fitzroy and Adelle, who I think are related to the bride and groom."

Fitzroy smiled toothily at Adelle when she buried her head in his shoulder, restraining his lovestruck giggles only with a lot on concentration. He couldn't help it; she was just so adorable! Seeing as he was still new to this whole relationship deal, though, he wasn't expecting the kiss, which had his brain turning into the mental equivalent of warm pudding. He giggled in a dorky fashion, reminding himself once again how lucky he was that Adelle liked him back.
Before he could reply to her compliment, a distraction in the form of Llujah showed up and, although he was a little disgruntled at the toddler interrupting the romantic atmosphere, the boy was cute enough that he quickly forgave it. He laughed as the boy spun in his dress, which did fit him quite well, and nodded his approval. "Oh yeah, that dress looks good! Very good choice," he said enthusiastically, also patting the boy on his head. Having been raised in close proximity to Lirona, the idea that boys wearing dresses was weird didn't even cross his mind.
Speaking on Lirona, the preteen stopped fussing over her dad when she heard Tykier announce his arrival, and hurriedly gathered her things and exited the tent with an apologetic smile to Silas, who was looking at her in horror. "Sorry, Daddy! I've got to go see who it is!" When she emerged from the Lorcalle tent, she looked around in mild confusion, having missed Ty when he went off to see Adhara. However, in his place she spotted Elisabetta, who she strolled up to with a smile. "Hey there Lissy! You're looking super-cute today~ Oh, good, and you have a camera! I thought my dad had gotten rid of all the ones we had," she added with a giggle, the statement being funnier because it was true.
Back in the tent, Silas watched his child leave him stranded with a pout. Now what was he supposed to do? Sighing, he glanced over himself in the mirror and did a little bit of preening, something he rarely did in front of other people. He didn't want to come off as vain. After a moment or two of examining, he decided he didn't look TOO bad in the suit, although it was still insanely uncomfortable. He found himself wondering how Noah looked in his tux - at least he HOPED he was wearing a tux - when, ironically, he caught sight of his fiancee in the mirror. Yelping, he spun around, one hand on his heart. "Gah! What the ******** are you doing, skulking like that?! You about gave me a heart attack!"
Unlike the rest of the population, Caspian was not all giddy about this wedding. Not that he wasn't happy about the union or anything, but it was an unhelpful reminder of how he was distressingly and seemingly persistently single. He'd spent most of the time up until now loafing around the edges of the party, telling himself to just hold on until the bar opened. Then this party would get much better. However, a small concern had worked its way into his mind, and after a bit of searching, he approached Adhara, nodding at the two people he didn't know. "Hey, do you know where our kidlets are? I don't want them wandering off or getting lost or something and not being on time. They're kinda important."

Adelle beamed at the little boy and smiled at high spinning in the dress, nodding a few times. "It's a very pretty dress, Llu!" she cooed happily, reaching out to feel the fabric with interest. "Uw, Fitzyroy and me are real etcited for the wedding, too. Fitzroy gets to be the ring bearer and I'm the flower girl, so he's gon'na bring the weddin' rings down the aisle and I get'ta toss petals all down it and make it look real pretty!!" she explained happily, her own wings fluttering in excitement.
Noah laughed at his bride/groom's surprise and slipped closer to him smoothly, smiling at the male sweetly. "Oh, just breaking the traditional rules about weddings and seeing the bride before we exchange our vows," he joked, kissing Silas on the cheek. "Maybe now we'll have horrible luck in all we do," he said melodramatically before rolling his eyes. "But I don't really believe in all that stuff," he murmured, kissing Silas on the lips this time, a smirk on his own. "No, sir, not one bit..."
Adhara had skipped up to Ty and was busy hugging him happily when Caspian came over, and she let go of the man to smile at the guardian. "Oh, those two? I'm pretty sure they're both just walking around at he edge of the pond right now, out that way," she commented, gesturing in the direction of the pond, her wings fluffing up with the movement, unintentionally of course. And then her attention was back on Tykier.
"It's good to see you again, Ty; it's been a while. Well, alright, maybe just a couple months, but regardless, it's always good to see an old friend," Adhi said, laughing softly and smiling at the man. "So tell me, what have you been up to recently?"
Aludra, like Caspian, was not enjoying this quite so much. Here he was, in a tailored, tailcoated, perfect, prettyboy suit, stalking around the edge of the party in worry that someone had a camera or that someone would see him at all. It wasn't a surprise that, of course, the boy looked good in white, but it helped that his hair was also up in a ponytail instead of its usual braid. His general mission was to keep everyone from seeing him. In specific, his goal was to keep Lira from seeing him - Lord only knew how she would react to that.

Tykier smiled and chuckled, "Old! Who are you calling old? I'm just about the same age as you! Hehe... It's good to see you again..." He wrapped his winged arms around her. He sighed, "Well... Nothing of import... Um... I'm going to have an interview with an employer to see if I can be a veterinarian... Because I can heal, it would be helpful for animals over there..."
