Sirius walked through the dense foliage, green foliage allowing his to blend in with his surrounding, owing to his green fur. Can you say camouflage? The words of the Alchemist still rang in his head, power, followers. Speaking of followers, it was about time he started finding some, but none of those X'alos fools. They're destruction would come soon, they certainly would not receive salvation from Sirius. Another thing to puzzle over was the trade Alphonse had offered. Agility, defense, offense, for hearing, sight, or speech. Quite the trade... the rewards were great but the price was ever greater...

En was lying lazily in front of the cave of the Xa’Los pack. She was recently accepted into the pack…so far it had been home for her. Turning onto her back she stared into the trees by the cave. It was quiet; not a lot had been going on. She was very bored and wanting something to do.

A deer, food, ran quickly past both the cave where En was and before that Sirius. There was no way the young, green adolescent was gonna pass that up. Sirius was in hot pursuit, running quickly past the X'alos cave, not paying them any attention, they would get theirs soon. For now, it was time to hunt. "Man I wish I had went for that agility or offense, right now, hearing doesn't seem that important," he breathed as he ran, chasing the deer.

En shot up as she heard the noise of hoofs hitting the ground. She could take one down, she knows she could. She was much older now from when she took down her first deer. Pointing her ears in the direction of the sound En jumped into action. Running as fast as she could the noise of the hoofs grew louder and louder. But why was it running already? She started to breath harder then she caught a smell…it was familiar. Someone she once knew. Whoever it was they were after her kill as well.

As Sirius continued his hunger based chase, he couldn't help but hear En chasing as well, her smell was familiar, and instantly registered in his head, because for someone leading a life like Sirius, recognition was important, one needs to remember their enemies. Forgetting the X'alos pack member for a moment, his stomach was the utmost priority at the moment, Sirius bounded a little faster, catching the deer, pouncing onto of it. Going for the throat, a quick death. Taking a bite, he decided to eat there, no point dragging it anywhere else, who did he have to feed?

She was getting closer, after this thicket she would come into a clearing to tackle the deer. Leaping out from behind the bushes she saw Sirius and stumbled to the ground. Only to jump onto her feet and growl at him. “What are you doing here Green Thing?” She had mocked him when they were pups, giving a nickname that he hated. She knew this would bring up some boiling emotions.

Sirius was taken aback for a moment, although he had already recognized Enelyn's presence, he was shocked by her entrance. "Hunting," he said between bites, chewing on deer hide. Growling at her for a moment, after he remembered the significance of the nickname 'Green Thing.' "How's your disgusting leader Kirill and the rest of your miserable X'alos pack?" Sirius asked mockingly as he plopped down on his butt, eating comfortably.

She circled around Sirius slight bearing her teeth. “Problems are stirring but not that you need to know.” Her shoulders were tense, her spines we laid back. “You’ve grown since we’ve last see each other.” En looked him up and down, he was an adult and En was still just an adolescent. He had grown to be strong and quick. But she was sure in a fight she could get away. She was swifter than him, she knew she was. “And you seem different…” She left that sentence sounding more like a question.

Sirius smiled a toothy smile, allowing his teeth to show a bit, gleaming from the light from the sun. Getting up, he got low a bit, his spines wiggling a little, Sirius licked his lips, removing some of the deer blood. "Oh I have changed in more ways than you could even imagine, little Enelyn," he said continuing to mock her. The Green Thing shook its head, problems had begun to stir, "how shocking, you think you have problems now? Just wait," Sirius said ominously. Looking at En, Sirius had to admit, she'd grown into a good looking female, albeit she still disgusted him, being in a pack and all.

En closed her eyes and let the sun warm her face. She needed the comfort, the comfort of something real and genuine. Opening she saw Sirius looking as if he was going to attack her. She didn’t heed it, only laid down in front of him crossing her front paws. He wasn’t going to attack her. She knew if he did he would have Kiri and Kha on his tail. No one would want that. He wasn’t strong enough to take both of them on.
“Where have you been?” She bent her neck to lick her forward paw looking up at him. His eyes were different, darker, older but mostly dark. En knew had been through something, it changed him forever. He wasn’t the pup she played with, who she fought with. He was her enemy.

Sirius decided now, while she was laying flat, he would circle her. Yes, it was true Sirius wasn't going to attack her, without more followers, he would surely fail against the X'alos pack. "You've grown into quite the fine wolf," he said bluntly, it was his way, he didn't know the meaning of subtlety. Looking her over again as he walked around, left paw, right paw, and so on, digging softly into the loamy soil. His eyes opened slightly, shocked by her question for no real reason. "I've been around," he said ominously, "life is nomadic outside of a ...", he hesitated for a moment, the very word made him sick, "... a pack."

En was shocked by his comment..it was a compliment. “Thank you…” It was a little much for her. Him being nice, it was abnormal for him to be.
“Pack…” The words flowed out and into the wind; she said them so softly Sirius could barely hear. “They still talk about you and wonder. We all did. You just left.” She got up onto all four legs and leaned into a stretch. “But you seem good, healthy. Didn’t need us in the long run. “She locked eyes with him, her stare didn’t faze him.
“I needed them, I couldn’t be like you.” She looked up to the sky; she was too weak on her own. Kha and Kiri saved her from a starving pup and raised her as their own. They cared for her, played with her, taught her to kill. She could never let them go. They were her pack, her family. En paced around Sirius you had stopped circling her.

Sirius grunted when she said "thank you", turning his head to the sky, eyes going up, and then rolling around. It wasn't sentimental, it was pragmatic. She had grow up, and she looked healthy, both simple, unattached facts. Turning back to her, his face was blank, a blank canvas. "I am good, better than good, I struggled and became what you see before you." Moving closer to her, he kept her gaze, just as she locked on to his. Standing a full height, his spines sticking straight up. "I've transcended your packs, your familial connections, I am more. I am rogue," he said decisively.

“Rogue?” She had a questioning look on her face. Her spine stood up on her back she was getting more defensive. “That is?” No one has ever mentioned such a thing…Kha had said it once but shut down En’s inquiry. She did get however an odd feeling from it, something weird. He inched toward her; he got close enough so she could smell how rugged he had become.
But there was an odd but familiar scent. Not wolf, deer, rabbit nor boar…what was it? She sniffed again. Human. “Have you been near hunters?” It just fell out of her mouth; she realized what she had said before she could stop herself. “…or even just a human?” It was only one scent.

Sirius moved in even closer, a hairs length from her face, answering her question only when he was so close, he could hear her breath. "A rogue. You'll learn soon enough..." Moving his mouth to her ear, allowing her to hear him clearly, he spoke with an eery amount of fervor and confidence. "Don't worry your prit-tee lit-till head about that," moving back slightly, and smiling sinisterly. He wanted to laugh, but he restrained himself, it would ruin his whole hardcore thing.
