Personality: Wisteria is quite the character who comes across as a very powerful and menacing woman when in fact she is one of the kindest and most compationate people ever. Her soft spoken behavior tends to force others to listen to her carefully and it is hard for one not to respect her. Wisteria leads by example in all aspects of her life. While she prefers not to jump into a fight, Wisteria is more than capable of killing another and her emotions rarely get in the way of her work. She is tactful and objective in all that she does making her often seem scatter brained or like shes not paying attention even though she's well aware of the current situation.

Detailed Biography: Her youth was not one of promise. Wisteria had been orphaned and wound up growing up in the turbulant Country of Earth. As an aspiring Kunoichi she received lots of opposition from her very own Village who saw women Shinobi as nothing more than obstacles and problems for the the male nin. Wisteria had experienced much prejudice during her academy years and timid as she had once been nothing was too big for her to tackle. Soon enough she was the best Iwagakure had to offer and she ran A-rank missions left and right, sometimes by herself.
A particular A-rank mission from Wisteria's past seems to stick out. On a courier mission to the Hidden Leaf she came into exclusive contact with a young boy from the Inuzuka clan and the two young Shinobi fell in love. This young boy who's been blocked out from her memory had once held her heart. At this climax of love the two naive nin had the floor collapse beneath their feet. Things went sour between the Hidden Rock and the Hidden Leaf and forced by his family the young boy had to cut off all contact with Wisteria. He left her with all but a memory of what once was.
Now when Wisteria was a very young, naive, heart broken girl, she was elected and essentially inherited Tsuchikage. All throughout her life she'd been one of the most promising ninja in her village exceding all expectations and rising to Kage rank at an unheard age. It seemed as well that Wisteria had inspired the Earth country's people, unifying them and bringing forth and expansive and revolutionary growth for the first time in the country's history.
After this revolution the Land of Earth grew remarkably and became an even larger force to be reconned with. Wisteria herself saw to it that every willing and able bodied person found their "niche" and had them begin doing what they loved and what they were good at. The amount of shinobi during this time decreased significantly because Wisteria saw that a powerful village was one that worked cohesively and efficiently. Because of this lack of shinobi the Tsuchikage herself began to go about recruiting people personally in order to take the most likely candidates for strong abled nin.
Wisteria is probably one of the most political Kage of the 5. By doing so she has placed her village in a sort of seperated position, one of which allows her to prolong war to its greatest extent. Playing the role of figurehead more so than the strong powerful Shinobi Wisteria has been able to play down her strengths making others doubt her. She encourages this behavior and has taught all Iwagakure Shinobi that self restraint is irreplaceable in battle.
