Welcome! Welcome to my journal. Some of the dogs here have broken away from the leash and collars placed on them by human society, while others live and work happily among them.

Personality:
Silvra can be a touch intimidating to strangers. She is a dog of few words, and does not speak unless she is spoken to, or has something very important to say. Silvra isn't particularly friendly either and may come off as very cold-hearted. It is hard to know what she is thinking at any given time because she usually keeps her emotions and thoughts to herself. Her natural guarding instincts also make her suspicious of the motives of others, making it hard for strangers to gain her trust. If she believes that an intruder in her territory is going to do harm, she will not hesitate to drive them away. Though Silvra may take her guarding duty very seriously, she isn't against wandering away from the farm on occasion to look for entertainment. If someone gets to know her, they will find that she is a curious and intelligent female who loves to learn about the world around her. She loves to be outside so much that she always moves through the wilderness with the utmost confidence, as if she had been born and raised away from humans. Around her friends, Silvra is surprisingly gentle, polite, and perhaps a little shy. She tends to avoid large groups such as packs, but she treats dogs from every walk of life as an equal.
History:
The first thing Silvra ever experienced in her life was the cold. She was born in a barn in the middle of winter to pair of hunting dogs, and spent her first few weeks snuggling with her mother and siblings for warmth. Once it warmed up however, she became aloof and separated herself from her family, preferring to investigate the farm and the livestock. She adored the other animals and formed a strong bond with them. Her owners noticed and began relying on her to warn them of trouble at the tender age of 8 weeks. The pup loved her duty and the rewards she would get for a job well done.
Time passed, and once the pups were about 6 months old, her owners decided that they could not afford to keep them. Suddenly Silvra was pulled away from her favourite spots and tied to a pole along with a good number of her siblings. Then people started to come to the farm to look at the young dogs, which Silvra didn't like. She snapped at them and urged her siblings to do the same, but to no avail. They wouldn't go away, and even worse, her owner was letting the people take her siblings with her. Most of the passerbys were fearful of her, but not one man. He was an old, rugged looking neighbour that had taken a liking to Silvra and her determination. Plus, he was looking for a dog he could take hunting, and knowing her breed and her parents, decided that she was perfect. After a bit of a struggle he untied her leash and led her to her new home.
It took time for Silvra to adjust. At first she had to stay tied up so that she could not run off, which frustrated her endlessly. But she slowly adapted to the new farm and her new owner, even growing to love them. Now she is allowed to wander wherever she pleases, living like she had when she was a pup.

Personality:
A lively, active young dog, Reed uses his build and speed to his advantage. He is a great runner and loves to do so. Often he can be seen running through fields just for the plain fun of it, but he is at his fastest when he makes short dashes to catch prey and the like. His mind can be as quick as his body as well. Though he isn't the most intelligent of dogs, he still has his clever moments that are usually brought on by the need to get out a dangerous situation. Usually he is the very relaxed sort who just likes to joke around. Reed is the type to crack jokes at inappropriate times and he isn't a stranger to being told off for his behaviour. He rarely takes this personally, however. It is very hard to hurt Reed's feelings because of the light-hearted way he looks at the world. Even though life as a wild dog can be hard, he is an optimist through and through. He knows that if life gets rough, the only thing he can do is persevere until things get better again.
History:
Reed has never known the touch of a human. He was born out in the forest, far away from the reaches of human society. His mother was alone and times were rough, but Reed was one of the lucky pups. She taught him well, and in return he helped her hunt and scavenge once he was old enough to do so. He had no wish to leave their makeshift little pack, so when she went off one morning and didn't return, Reed waited for her for days. He didn't leave the area until he became desperate for food. Reluctantly he decided that she was never coming back, and since then he has been more or less alone.

Personality:
Pearl is a sweet girl and has lots of love to share with others. Though she has very little food and no real shelter to speak of, she would gladly share with a fellow stray in need. She is sympathetic and a listener, making her the perfect set of ears for a dog that needs someone to talk to. She does not think about status, either. It doesn't matter if a dog is a stray or a purebred; Pearl has a kind word for everyone that she meets. She would never speak ill of anyone and secrets are always safe with her. She would even act as a mentor for a younger or smaller dog, much like a mother dog would. Unfortunately, she is a bit self-conscious about her appearance. It is the reason she is on the streets in the first place and she doesn't like to talk about her scars. If someone were to pick on Pearl, she would not stand up for herself. Her first reaction is to bury her pain within and hide from what is troubling her. She wishes that the dogs who push her around would slow down and get to know her, instead of judging her by her looks.
History:
Before she was born, Pearl had a brilliant future ahead of her. The pup of two pedigree english bull terriers, she was expected to excel in the show ring. But that all changed when she opened her pink eyes for the first time. She was albino and absolutely useless to the humans. Knowing that she was different and sensing what the humans felt about her, her mother pushed her away from her siblings and Pearl was barely able to fight for her life. Somehow, she managed to survive and even thrive once she was old enough to start on solid foods. But that was also when the parents' owners finally decided to get rid of her. Promptly she was dumped out the front door to wander desperately by herself.
Luckily she was taken in for a time by a fit young male that was a little better off than the average stray. She grew up in relative comfort, until the other dogs started noticing her weaknesses. Due to her albinism, her hearing and her sight is not as sharp as average, and her sensitivity to sunlight forced her to come out during the night. Many dogs took the opportunity to fight her for everything she managed to get ahold of. Some of the fights ended up quite violent, and the scars all over her body are evidence of them. The attacks only began to ebb when Pearl started moving from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, keeping to herself as much as possible. To this day she tries not to linger anywhere too long, even though she is now full grown and much more capable of defending herself.

Personality:
Amp has never wanted anything in his entire life, giving him a false sense of entitlement. He believes that he deserves anything and everything that he wants and refuses to be told otherwise, especially when his owners have always provided for his every need. Surprisingly this doesn't make him selfish, but it does make him take life as a joke and his other beliefs are a little bit skewed. To him every day is a new adventure and he will take stupid risks just for a quick thrill. He doesn't seem adverse to getting into a fight as the numerous scars in his coat show, either. Amp is a bit of adrenaline junkie and is willing to go very far to feel the rush. He is young enough to believe that he is invincible, which makes him more prone to making foolish decisions. Amp is also very bold and outgoing. While other pets might be cautious around rough strangers, Amp will confidently address them as if they had been friends for years. But Amp isn't fond of strays. He thinks that strays are pathetic and it's their fault their lives are so tough, and that if they really wanted to, they could find themselves a new owner or go out into the wild. The thought of picking through garbage for food utterly disgusts him.
History:
The offspring of two cherished borzois, Amp was destined to be a pet from the very beginning. Before he could even leave his mother, he met a young girl and her father and knew they were going to be his new family. But that also triggered a bit of a competitive streak in him. He wanted to be the best puppy of the bunch and he began to be disruptive and rough. To his pleasure, he learned that behaving badly was a great way to get what he wanted. Whenever he wanted a bit more food or an extra snuggle, he would just yap and whine until he got it.
When he was finally taken home by the girl, Amp was given his very first collar. Bright pink with a little star, he adored the thing and soon he adored the child as well. She also tended to fall for Amp's tricks, which suited him just fine. Now he is thoroughly bonded to his family and if anything ever happened to the man or the girl, Amp would surely seek vengeance.

With almost unlimited energy and a sharp mind, Ren always has to be kept busy to keep from getting bored. She loves to work and when she is on the job, nothing else around her matters. She can be so focused that she will not think of anything but the current goal. Ren responds to commands quickly, especially if she knows that there with be affection or a treat in store for a job well done. She also learns new commands in a short amount of time. As much as she loves to work, Ren knows how to relax too. As soon as the vest comes off she is a highly playful and friendly shepherd who loves meeting new people and dogs, as long as they do not threaten her home or yard. She can be very chatty too, and likes to tell her friends stories about her daily adventures. She also enjoys games of all kinds and is willing to try just about anything for the fun of it. It is hard to ruffle Ren's fur and only one thing seems to succeed: her own allergies. She has to take medication every day to keep them under control and occasionally she has days where she can hardly tolerate the itching. When this happens, Ren might be a little snappier than usual. However, it doesn't take her long to recover and she will be her silly, affectionate self.
History:
Ren and her siblings began life in the kennels of a special dog breeding facility. There they raised german shepherds and other dogs for the use in the police force and security companies. From a young age Ren was acclimatized to the basic things she would need to know before starting her real training.
At 8 months old, Ren's future looked uncertain. She was too docile for the jobs that they wanted her to do and considered selling her off. But her trainer wanted to give her another chance due to the pup's focus and love of learning. Against expectations, Ren started to take off and soon she was caught up with the rest of the training group. She "graduated" with flying colours and now works with her handler almost every day.

Personality:
Rosalie tends to be very unreasonable and hard to deal with. If she isn't completely satisfied with what is going on around her, she will complain and criticize others until that changes. She always places the blame on others and blatantly refuses to see her own faults. She is also lazy, preferring to use her energy to taunt and pick at what others are doing instead of getting up and helping. Aggressive and touchy, she doesn't like dogs that behave in the way she does, and wouldn't be adverse to getting into a fight with one of them if she believed she could win. She can become very competitive when other females are around if she believes that they are getting more attention from males than she is. But in one on one encounters, Rosa gets along with either gender. If there's no reason to for her to be unhappy, she can actually be quite friendly and fun. When she really likes someone, Rosalie will not be as quick to criticize them.
History:
Rosalie is a wild dog through and through. It has been a few generations since her ancestors escaped their humans and entered the wild. The only way Rosalie knows that her line once belonged to the humans is through the stories her parents told her, passed down from their parents. Growing up in the forest has instilled a great love for the trees in her, and she cannot comprehend a life living with a human.
She has also inherited another trait from her parents; a love of roses. Something about the scent of roses calms her, and she has made her den close to a patch of rose bushes in the forest. Rosalie watches over these bushes, and would protect them as fiercely as she would her den.

Personality:
Living near the shore all her life has allowed Tasula to grow connected to the ocean and the sea creatures that live there. Nothing relaxes this dog more than the soft salty scent of the water, and she can often be seen dozing in the sunlight on the sand. She is a touch lazy, but it is not out of the reluctance to do any work. She has such an easy life for a wild dog that she does not need to exert herself much to survive. For a wild dog, she is also very accepting of humans. If it wasn't for them, she wouldn't have so much food at her disposal. She isn't afraid to steal a tasty morsel or two from a beach visitor. It saddens Tasula that they are destroying the ocean she loves so much, however. Tasula is also smart and stays away from the busiest places so that she never gets caught. Sometimes it's hard to tell, but Tasula is still very much a wild dog. She may be serene and peaceful when someone first meets her, but she can snap if she has to.
History:
As a pup Tasula lived in a rocky den near the shore. Her mother often left her alone while she searched for food, leaving the pup to entertain herself and even wander if she was careful. While daydreaming Tasula would walk to the beach and play with the rocks and seashells. She also started to pay attention to her neighbours and took time to know where every gull and crab lived. When she was finally old enough to leave home, Tasula didn't go very far. Her den can be found in a rocky place very similar to the one she grew up in.

Personality:
Surikizu is a scrappy, tough little chihuahua. She is no afraid of getting involved with larger or older dogs to reach a personal goal. When she speaks, it's easy to tell she thinks highly of herself. She seems to feel the need to brag whenever she gets the chance. The only thing she fears is making a fool of herself in front of dogs she is trying to impress. To her, appearances are everything. It doesn't matter if a dog is a pet, wild, or a stray; she will try to keep up an appearance of confidence and pride around them. If things aren't going her way, Surikizu is also very quick to get irritated. She is quite impatient and she isn't opposed to chomping down on someone's ear if she thinks it'll hurry things up. With her attitude, it's hard to imagine that she is actually very kind to her family and friends.
History:
Suri and her siblings, Kunkun and Hitonomi, were taken in by Flo Loni along with many other pups. She doesn't remember much about her life before they were adopted.
