The day was bright, the sun warm, swipes of white cloud were painted delicately over a canvases of vivid blue sky, illuminating everything, even the dark shadows cast by the trees were welcoming in soft clarity, and every detail they shaded were still crisp and detailed. Nothing was hided on a day like this; everything was in harmony, So detailed, so beautiful. The light and shade danced together as a fresh breeze wafted from the ocean in the west, cooling the air.
Rosie had not made it far out of Camphoreon City to continue her training. She hadn’t been at it very long, only a few weeks, and she knew she had a lot of work ahead of her. Like a few of her schoolmates had advised, there was good training to be found to the north east of the city, around the mountains. She simply had to follow the trail. Grateful for the advice, Rosie had packed her things for another weekend of training, but along the way she had found herself distracted. Just as she was starting to leave the city, she saw the most charming outdoors park, it had a playground aria, around some trails that lead down to a pond, and grass park. She figured a little break wouldn’t hurt.
Head bowed with a small smile feathering the corners of her lips, the young girl’s body swayed back and forth smoothly, hands gripped tightly around a pair of vertical chains. Her smile spread a little wider, dipping her head back when the momentum pushed her boot ahead of her body, the white and pink leather foot wear planted firmly in the plastic seat as it was swung forward again, causing her grip on the chains to tighten keeping her from falling backwards into the sand. The flow of air around her brush curled blond strands out of her face, only to have them rush back in around her cheeks, tickling her noise and chin when her chest pushed out over her feet when the swing pushed her back. Forcing her momentum for a few strokes, before she allowed her body to relax and enjoy the steady swaying.
The girl was young, looking to be around the age of 16 or 17, her hair was bright blond, even more so under the sun. She had a small build, shown by a fitting white shirt that clung tightly to her body, though a small pink skirt flew as freely as her hair around pink leggings, aside from being accessorized with a bow on the back of her skirt, and on the front of both of her booths as laces it looked like an outfit for high activity. A single Pokeball attached to the side of her hip, and her packed bag tossed onto the pavement to keep any sand from getting into it.
There was a pair of ear buds where placed into her ears, and after some of time swaying in silence her mouth opened and she began to sing, obviously along with the song that she was listening to. Though being closed off to hearing her own pitch, her voice wasn’t in as much control as she usually practiced. Not that she cared too much, clearly just enjoying herself. It’s not like there was anyone around to judge her anyway…

Roar adjusted his red sunglasses as he entered the park and let out a heavy sigh. Beside him, his twin brother, Fury, stretched and reached back to adjust his ponytail. It was about time they had some time off from HQ - they had worked very hard these last several months, earning what they could and stealing when necessary. Roar's first mission was an absolute success, stealing a bulbasaur for Fury, and after that, they were met with continued success. Roar's dark blue squirtle, Tempest, had been chosen to be one of the first to contribute to Team Rocket's new breeding program, and now Roar had his daughter, Typhoon, to show for it, and Fury also had a pichu from another experimental breeding. However, as exciting as those successes had been, they were most proud of their newest acquisitions, genetically perfected and purchased from Team Rocket with their hard work and well-earned funds.
Roar looked down at his newest team member and smiled. Eevees were still fairly new to Team Rocket's genetics program, and Roar knew he and Fury were exceptionally lucky to receive theirs so soon. Fury was now the proud trainer of Darkshine, the red-marked umbreon standing beside him, and Roar had his pride and joy: Petra. The vaporeon was mostly white, but its rainbowed markings seemed to glitter in the sunlight. He was surely a sight to behold, and Roar could not help a swell of pride whenever he gazed upon Petra.
Yes, Roar and Fury had a break coming to them, and they were determined to enjoy it today. Petra was still new, and Roar was determined to use his time off to his advantage to train Petra with proper demonstration from Darkshine who had taken to Fury's training quickly and was eager to please. The four started deeper into the park together - maybe they would toss around a ball for a while to relax before they began training.

So long as Vahy’n could hear the squeaking of the metal hinges, or her masters singing voice wafting down from the play aria, the Vaporeon nestled comfortably in the tall, thick grass knew all was well. knowing it was going to be a long journey, one that Rosie would probably not complete just yet, not in her new days of training, the blue striped pokemon did not pester her young master to continue. Content to let her play, as she, herself, settled in the shade under a circle of bushes by the pond, paws crossed elegantly, with her head laying daintily over them. The leaves allowed though spots of light in to warm her still moist skin from her earlier swim, while providing enough shade to keep the brightness from her large yellow eyes. The blue striped and speckled Vaporeon was able to relax, not completely though, her master was new to pokemon, and to journeys like this, so she had to be careful to keep tabs on her at all times until she understood what she was doing. Vahy’n made sure to observe anyone who passed through the park, it was a quiet day, so she didn’t have to worry about many In the aria, at least not until school is let out and the children come out to play with their friends and families. Though after a long stretch of silence, a quiet that was only broken by Rosie’s voice, Vahy’n’s large yellows eyes caught the sight of a small group entering the park and heading toward the open field, lifting her head softly to watch their progress curiously she was able to make out two males, humans, and two pokemon, Eon’s like herself. They seemed to be still at a distance, so she wasn’t too concerned; but she was going to keep an eye on them, just in case. Lowering her head back onto her paws, Vahy’n watched them.

Once they reached an open part of the park, Roar pulled a ball from his pocket and threw it. Sure, playing catch and fetch was usually something only played with pets like dogs, not Pokémon, but the twins found that it actually helped condition Pokémon and keep them in shape. By chasing and retrieving a ball, the Pokémon could hone their speed in the chase, especially when racing another Pokémon to it, their reflexes in making sharp turns when it bounced, and their accuracy in finding the ball in tall grass or undergrowth. The fact that both trainer and Pokémon had fun doing it was simply a bonus.
Darkshine, better versed in the training exercise than his newer companion, bolted for the ball as soon as it left Roar's fingers. Petra was much less quick on the take and simply stared after the umbreon, stupefied, at first. After a few throws, he seemed to get the gist of the exercise and finally began to give chase as well, but his calm lope was no match for Darkshine's quicker sprints, nor would it ever be, Roar knew. Vaporeons were thick with muscle, particularly in their tails and hindquarters, and were much heavier than most eevees, so Petra's speed would never match Darkshine's. However, he made up for it with his much increased endurance.
After a few moments of chasing and retrieving the ball, the expected happened: Darkshine hobbled over to Fury and curled up at his feet to cool down from overexertion, leaving the ball free for Petra to retrieve on his own. Now that he knew he had a chance, the white vaporeon put a little more effort into the chase, and once he finally was able to bring the ball back to his trainer for the first time, Roar threw it further, toward he shrubs and bushes to give Petra something to search for.

A sharp rustle of leaves, followed quickly by a dull ‘thud’ not a few feet away from where she was laying, the sound muffled by the grass, this startling Vahy’n from her peace causing her head to shot up off her paws, holding it high as she looked sharply around to find the reason for this sound. What she saw… was a ball? Peering at it curiously, with a tilt of her head, for a moment wondering where it had come from. With a sudden realization she snapped her gaze quickly back over to the group that she had seen entering the park, only to find that the white of the Eon’s was running this way, no doubt to retrieve this ball. Well, she certainly didn’t want him bounding in here blindly and colliding with her, that was something she would prefer to avoid.
Whatever she was going to do, she had to do it fast, since the other pokemon was approaching quickly. Darting swiftly to her feet, squatting down just enough to pluck the ball up in her mouth, then swirling again to face in the direction of the other pokemon. He was close by now, leaping forward to suddenly streak out of the bushes toward the other Eon, stopping dead just a few paces outside the bushes. There she stood in the sunlight, head lowered slightly with all her funs extended fully, her large yellow eyes staring fixed on… another Vaporeon, she noticed now, she had jumped out with just enough time for him to stop before hitting her. The wind licked over her body now that she was in the open, cooling her damp skin, the feather attached to one of her fins fluttered softly by her head. Her stance was wide, showing she was ready for movement again if she needed to jump out of the way.

Petra jerked back in surprise when something burst from the bush. He blinked his two-colored eyes a few times as he realized it was another vaporeon...and it was holding his ball. "Um..." Not quite sure what to do now, Petra just made a vague pawing gesture at it, uncertain if he should ask for it politely, try to take it back by force, or simply forget about it and hope his trainer had a spare.
Roar walked slowly over to his vaporeon to see why it was taking him so long to return the ball this time, and he arched an eyebrow behind his red shades when he noticed the new vaporeon - and what an elegant specimen it was. The feather dangling from its fin membrane meant it had to belong to someone...but where was its owner?

She simply fixed the other Veporeon with a locked, deep stare, she couldn't say she was surprised, she knew he was coming, but she wanted to make a point to him that she was there, and she wasn't particularly pleased that her relaxation time had been interrupted. Other than a mild annoyance, she didn't show aggression or impatience to this other Veporeon, eyes shifted down to his paw as he waves it lightly, knowing he wanted the ball that she now held in her mouth. She had no intentions of keeping it, so she dropped it between them shortly after he stopped and lifted her head up, eyes being pulled away from him as she spotted his trainer coming up toward them. her fins perked in alertness, before she spun sharply again and vanished within the brushes again, sliding through them to leap out the other side.

Petra didn't understand why the other vaporeon was annoyed and, frankly, didn't care now that he had his ball back and could return it to his trainer. His tail lifted slightly when she dropped it, pleased he wasn't going to have to argue with her for it, and he picked it up to return to Roar and resume their game.
Roar, however, was no longer paying much attention. He glanced around the park to see who all else was there. The other vaporeon's trainer had to be around here somewhere, but if he or she wasn't too close by...he was quite sure such a stunning Pokémon would be welcomed into Team Rocket's ranks.

Having her rest interrupted, that young pup might have run into her in chase of that ball. Well, he had his ball now, and she probably should have gone to check up on Rosie anyway. Blinking softly as she slipped up the hill, fins pulled out to give her a fuller look, feather swaying and twirling as the wind brushed past it, the golden chain jingling softly, pausing at the top to peer to the play area where her trainer was still singing happily. Turning her head to glance back at the group that was starting to make their way closer, she hopped into the sand, trotting elegantly over to Rosie, remembering to stay back just far enough so she wouldn’t be kicked while she swung. “Va Vaporeon” she yipped up at her, hoping to her attention through her music, smiling when the young mistress opened her eyes, and looked down at the beautiful blue pokemon.
A bright smile spread over Rosie’s lips, taking a moment to shift her weight so that she could slow the momentum of her swing. Getting it slow enough so that she could drop down and hop off, boots landing in the sand before she sat down on the swing, pulling the ear buds out of her ears. “Are you ready to go Vahy’n?” she asked with a smile, letting her Vaporeon walk over and climb up on her lap with her front legs. Rosie reached up to gently scratch under Vahy’n chin, stroking her side as the Vaporeon cooed pleasantly. catching the sounds of other in the aria Rosie looked up curiously.

Petra was confused. He received a rewarding pat on his head for returning the ball, but his trainer didn't throw it again, instead walking past him and up the hill after the other vaporeon. Petra just blinked and followed after him, still holding the ball in his mouth as he waited for Roar to take it. Roar was more interested in the other Pokémon, however, and once he saw it return to its owner, he hesitated slightly with a small frown. She looked familiar - he thought he remembered seeing her hanging around some other Rockets when they were out in plain clothes. That meant competition for that vaporeon - this could be a problem.

A young man stepped up into sight; standing by the aria that Vahy’n had just come from, she could see that a couple of Pokemon were following him but her attention was on him at the moment. She tilted her head, but was soon smiling, lifting up one of her hands to wave at him “Hello!” he was looking over at them, he probably followed Vahy’n when he saw her “was Vahy’n saying hi to you?” she asked,
Vahy’n turned her attention to the man that had followed as well, eyeing him calmly.

"Is that her name?" Roar asked once he was in earshot. He stopped a few paces away, not oblivious to the wary looks the vaporeon was giving him. He didn't want to get their guard up too fast. Petra stopped beside him and twitched one ear frill at the other two, the sun gleaming off of his white fur and bright markings.

“Yup” she replied happily, petting her Vaporeon again. Shifting to stand back up when Vahy’n jumped off of her lap, taking a moment to turn her MP3 player off while she coiled her head phones. “Vahy’n’s her name, she-“ And then she caught sight of the Vaporeon that had stepped up next to the man, she stood there for a moment, her blue eyes wide in surprise, blinking softly before she let out a little squee. “oh my goodness, you have a Vaporeon to~” gasping and walking over excitedly, looking over the coloring “she’s so pretty!”

Petra dropped the ball and backed up a timid step when the human suddenly came up to him and started squealing in a high-pitched voice, his two-colored eyes widening. He was still very under-socialized and was not at all sure how to handle this turn of events.
Roar grinned, allowing himself to swell slightly in pride for his own gorgeous Vaporeon. "His name's Petra."

Rosie was able to tell that she had startled the Vaporeon, stopping where she was, with a kind smile still on her face as she knelt down, keeping a comfortable distance from the other pokemon. "ohh, him" She corrected herself, glancing up at the man with the visor. "sorry, he's so pretty I though he might be a girl" Smiling at him before she looked over to Petra "Hi Petra~ my name is Rosie." the blond introduced herself sweetly, holding her hand out to him.
Vahy'n walked up next to her trainer, sitting down next to her and peering at the other two
