Alphonse rose from his table, his hand clutching his robes convulsively around his body. He moved to the door, scattering papers in his wake as he brushed past stacks of them. He snatched a old, twisted staff from beside the door, the twisted wood aged dark by now, the wood familiar under his hand. He threw the door open, striding out with fast steps, until he was stopped short by gasping coughs that wracked his body, twisting it over until they subsided.

Panting slightly, Alphonse moved on, past the city limits, into the forest. His wrecked body was the price he paid for his power, and he would trade it again any day. He was looking for one of his creatures.. something had told him there was going to be an opportunity, a great one, if he handled it properly.

Following his dramatic leave from the X'alos pack, Sirius couldn't help but think of his stomach, all that action had him well... hungry. Nearing the city, his guard was up more than ever, but it was worth the risk. The leftovers, left by humans, so delicious and they could feed him for a day or more. The life a rogue was one of careful calculation, there was no guarantee of a next meal, unlike in a pack. Sirius scoffed, "packs are overrated," he breathed venomously. Sighing slightly, he moved on, searching for food. Suddenly he stopped, while leaping over a downed tree, and he looked up in the sky. "I know that I hate packs, but there has to be something better than this..." Sirius sat down on his butt, and contemplated quietly, his future.

Alphonse struggled through the brush, his dark robes catching and pulling on the foliage. Snarling, the old man swatted at the offending brush with his staff, pushing on. He paused, choking back another cough, as he caught footfalls through the trees. Four, not two, feet, he thought, listening closely. Alphones turned his sightless eyes towards the noise, standing still until the noise stopped. He smirked to himself, and using his staff to push more brush out of the way, approached one of his creatures. This close to a city, it had to be on it's own.. Which made it.. well, perfect.

Sirius laid down flat on the ground, his green fur getting leaves and things all caught up and snagged in his coat. Relaxing for a moment, enjoying the sun baking his body, which had grown slightly. However, Sirius's solace wasn't meant to last very long, his green ears perked up, something... or rather someone was near. Sirius sniffed the air, "human, definitely human." Standing up, Sirius stood completely erect, ready to face whatever danger was coming his way. The spine on his back, nearly grown, twitched with excitement.

The alchemist used his staff to guide himself, he was so used to the loss of sight that it was no longer a hindrance. Alphonse felt the sun on his face, and he stopped, knowing he had reached a clearing. He listened for a moment, then turned his head towards the Ikal'daka, hearing it shift, which gave it away. He smirked, uttering a low cackle as he took a few more steps towards it. "Hello there." Because of his involvement in thier creation, Alphonse knew how they spoke.. And that came in handy now.

Sirius was taken aback, automatically he took a step back, away from the human who spoke his language. Admitting a low-pitch growl, the green adolescent intended to let the Alchemist know he wasn't to be messed with. Using his right front paw, he clawed the ground a bit. "...how can you speak to me?" As far as Sirius understood the world, species of different types, spoke different languages. He and humans, were definitely different species, so how could this guy talk to him, Sirius wondered about the issue while he awaited a response.

Alphonse cackled, and tapped his way into the clearing. He settled himself on a fallen tree, his robes draping over his too-thin frame. He had to listen hard to understand the voice, he'd never actually held a conversation with one of his demon wolves, and the dialect was a little different, heard in person. "Because I made you." he said with another low cackle, his head turned towards Sirius.

Sirius shot Alphonse a curious look, completely shocked by the whole "I made you," comment. It's not everyday that you find out you were created by some skinny old man. It's kind of shocking. At any rate, the young demon wolf took a step back, and decided to start with the simplest of questions, "who are you, and what am I?" To some degree, Sirius knew the answer to the latter but he wasn't sure at all, and clarification couldn't hurt, right?

Alphonse 'looked' straight at Sirius, and thumped the ground with the end of his staff. "Dont even know what you are.. What lack of training.." Muttering for a moment, he then cracked a very unnerving smile. "You are an Ikal'daka - a hell wolf. I brought you into creation along with all of your kind." He seemed to say this with utter self-assurance, even though the notion was no doubt ridiculous. "A question for you, then. Why are you on your own and not with the rest of the traitors who ran off?"

Sirius shook his head, thinking of all of the Ikal'daka, as they were called he had met. En and the rest of the X'alos pack were all created not by two parents but... this man. Heavy stuff. Alphonse questioned Sirius about why he wasn't with a pack, and the question made his blood boil a bit, thinking of Kirill's condescending nature. Looking up at Alphonse, Sirius growled low and deep, "if you referring to why I'm not in a pack, it's because I hate them, some "superior" telling me what to do? No thanks." Sirius said grimly, angered by the recent memories of the pack.

Alphonse could have laughed out loud, but he constrained himself. How absolutely perfect - a rogue, then.. One who hated the packs, no less. "So you dont like the rest.. How interesting." Alphonse mused, rubbing his thumb over the wood of his staff absently. "Tell me.. Would you like a chance to get back at these others who have angered you so?"
PostPosted: Thu Feb 11, 2010 8:19 pm

"More than anything," Sirius said without thinking. Although, it wasn't so much all of them that he hated, just En and Kirill and the whole idea of a pack. But that was actually, more or less all them, so..yeah pretty much Sirius did hate all of them. Taking a few steps closer, Sirius questioned the Alchemist, "...and how might I do that?"

Alphonse cackled, listening at the Ikal's intrest brought him closer. "I would like to.. eliminate the packs." he said, frankly. "It would be hard.." He smirked at the wolf. "But you could gain followers.. and I can give you power. Something the packs would never allow you to possess."

Sirius moved closer still, depicting his growing interest in Alphonse's plan, and he quite liked the idea of gaining power, but then again, who didn't? Followers he liked too. "Sounds good to me, where do we begin?" At this point, Sirius was committed to the Alchemist's plan, and there would be no turning back.

Alphonse, had he had sight, his eyes would have gleamed at the wolf's willing acceptance. As it was, he settled more on his log, tucking his feet underneath his robes as he prepared for a lengthier talk. "You will stay a rogue, though you will report, and stay loyal, to me. If I have need of you, I will call on you, and you must come. I do not care how you go about recruiting followers, so you have no restrictions." Alphonse paused as a cough wracked his body, and he clutched the staff for support until it passed. He voice slightly more raspy, he continued, "And as for power.. I can give you extreme abilities in Strength, agility, or defense, but that gift comes at the price of loss of one of your senses - Sight, speech, or your hearing."
