Deep in the forests, across the sad dunes of Pandora, in the deep seas and murky lakes. In the skies above and the mountains ahead. The lives of the Seconds thrives above that of humans. The Seconds, also called the Anthromorphs by humans. Creatures of human like build but with animalistic features like lions, bears and every creature imaginable. The humans are few these days and have become a third class to the Anthros. The beginning of their reign was found by a Archeologist in Egypt, who awakened the return of Pandora and over a span of 300 years the world shifted back to it's "beginning state" as the world wide Pandora. This man, little did he know, would also awaken an ancient civilization along with the return of Pandora, the creatures who ruled with the dinosaurs. He died there in the Temple of Argos and Artille, the two Gods who rules over Pandora. Soon, the world began to see traces of the Anthros, dogs no longer listened to their owners, the zoos were loosing animals every day. And soon the whole world was over run with them. Humans went into hiding, fearing the apocalypse. The Anthros took over, rebuilding ancient civilizations, the temples of the Aztec, and so on and soon the humans disappeared. Becoming slaves and food to the Anthros. But a key part to their uprising is a medallion in the temple of Argos and Artille, wrapped between their paws as they sit on their thrones. It has become the point of interest for thieves and treasure hunters alike. But should it fall into human hands, and if they knew what to do with it, it could change history and return the world to it's state before the new Pandora was made. So who will you be? An Anthro or Human?

Junai growled softly as she awoke. Her jowls opening wide and the pink tongue curled up inside as she yawned. Golden eyes opened to look at the blue sky outside her open window, a nice breeze brought to her a smell of fresh meat and she began to feel the beginnings of hunger. Her long slender tail twitched as she sat up, curling and then uncurling on the bed. Junai could hear Artari in the other room, his loud purring evident as he was sunning himself. A morning ritual shared by both.
Artari's ears perked up as he heard Junai. "Good morning dear, and how did you sleep?" he said through a purr as she walked over to his sunny spot and lay down on the warm tiles of the courtyard behind their house. Her muzzle wrinkled in a smile. "I slept well my friend. And you?" she asked, the sun made her black fur warm, and her eyes closed against it's brightness. Her armor was waiting for her on a chair, evidently Artari had cleaned and polished it for her, along with his own. The two were perfectly happy, though they only shared a friendship and nothing else. Junai's being a priestess of Argos had stopped Artari from going any farther with her. He was an independent soul from the Anthro society and it's Gods. There were three more than Argos and Artille, the gods of Sun and Moon, but their forms were of cats for Argos and birds for Artille. The other three were Menos of the sea creatures and anything water, Desmos of the earth and reptiles, and Greet of the dogs and anything related to dogs. But those gods had been forgotten over the ages for their lack of grace and knowledge. So they say. Artari flipped over on the warm tiles, letting his broad and muscular chest catch the sunlight. "So what are the plans for today miss?" Artari said with a chuckle, and getting a swat with a black tail for the comment. "Mmmm... Not sure. Should we look for humans?" she wondered, thinking about how many were left.

The idea came to mind of finding something to eat. Junai stood and walked to her armor, strapping on the smooth leather and material gauntlets, belts and so on. Her scythe lay against the wall of her room and she decided to leave it there but take her dagger just in case. Her golden eyes stopped to look at Artari who showed some interest over his book as she got ready. A brow raised at her in question. "Going out, be back soon lest you'd like to join me perhaps?" she said, her voice carrying a familiar accent of her Brazilian nature.
His ears twitched, the little round disks swiveling to listen to the jaguar. His broad chest heaved a sigh as he sat up and nodded his reply. He stopped the page with a leaf and set it on the chair. "I can't just let you go alone. Besides, I could use the chance to look for a new book. Maybe we will find some humans there." Artari let a purr roll off his tongue as he finished his sentence. His own unmistakable accent of a harsh language made his voice gruff but even so attractive to the ears. He was ready after her, his own armor on and his sword on his back. They left the villa like house and began their journey through the crowded streets of anthros, a large variety thrived here, and most were beautiful to see.

Sasoriza made sure that she remained unseen as she ran through the forest, her dull orange fishnet shirt flying around her loosely, her sneakered feat making dull thuds against the earthy ground. Her three-part nunchaku bounced against her leg as she hopped over a fallen tree and she skidded on the ground as she dove inbetween the branches. She held her breath as she pulled down her foggy goggles, letting it hang loosely around her neck. Her sharp eyes were wide as they saw the pair of Anthro pass by her hiding place, snarling angrily at loosing their prey.
She swallowed and let out a sigh as they disappeared and she stepped out of the tree cautiously. She had been living like this ever since her parents were killed. She had no news from her cousin, Zekiel, and was worried for him. If he died, then she would be alone in the world. She didn't want that at all. Even an independent girl like 'Sori needed a family too.
She tugged her tank top nervously as she approached a small river and took a deep drink, refilling her water bottle as well. The forest was full of Anthro, she was too near to one of the civilizations, which was why she had been chased down. She had done nothing to anger them, but they held a grudge against the whole human race. She shook as she heard the gruff, yet dangerously alluring, voices of more Anthro. She whirled around and fled again, into the darkness of the forest. What had the world come to?

Junai grumbled as she listened to chattering speak about a human in the woods outside the town. She flicked her tail in annoyance. How could they chase the poor thing off? But of course, the others didn't agree to having a human in their midst and would surely kill the human if they found it.
Artari had heard as well and was off towards the gates quickly. He had forgotten about his books and was more intent on the human lurking in the woods, though he was independent on the choice of humans and anthro coexisting. "This is ridiculous! How can they just sit by without at least saving the human? Sure the humans want their world back but this is their world. This was before they even arrived." he growled back to Junai, who had followed behind him with a dusty brown cloak. Something to hide the human under if they ever found it. The two had worked for coexistence and finding the human was important. Junai sighed, they had reached the gates and were walking out as two more anthros mumbled about a human in the woods, and evidently they saw it was female.
Artari knew Junai would have more of an effect talking to the girl than he did, so he allowed her to lead, though he was the best tracker among them.

Sasoriza found a small cave behind a waterfall to hide in. Perfect. She dove behind some rocks and shook the water droplets from her damp, crimson hair. She shivered a little, rubbing her arms through her fishnet and huddled on the ground, arms around her small, lithe frame.
She was glad that those anthros had called off the chase or she would've been caught, off-guard and weakened greatly, and taken back to their village to be skinned alive or worse. She closed her eyes, shaking her head to rid herself of the gruesome thoughts. "Come on, 'Sori." She chided herself. "Think positive. Cheerful thoughts. Think of Zeeks. Think that he's still alive. Think that you're going to find him." She chanted in a low voice and slowly, her eyes closed as she fell asleep on the hard ground, hidden behind the rocks.

Artari reached the area where the anthros said to have seen the girl, he could smell her human scent, mixed with the heavy evergreens and oak. His tail twitched as he continued to follow the scent left behind. "She's not too far, I just hope we're not too late... You know how Ajack is, damned bear..." he growled.
Junai nodded and prowled ahead of Artari. She wanted to reach the poor frightened thing first. Her golden orbs following the invisible trail set by the smells around her. "Poor human... Artari, I wonder, if she knows anymore humans? Maybe she could help the society protect them.." Junai said as she crossed over a fallen tree. They could hear a waterfall in the distance.

Sasoriza twitched, moving slighty from her hiding place. Something was not right. Her cerulean eyes snapped open and she was staring at the continously falling curtain of water of the waterfall. Something had disturbed her sleep. Even though the sheet of water, she heard voices. Rough, in-human voices. Anthros. Darn it. Darn it all, they found me!
She scrambled to her feet and ran through the waterfall, not bothering to shake off the clinging droplets of water as she burst through on the other side. She froze like a deer caught in the headlights as she saw a tiger anthro and a jaguar anthro and she whirled around, running as fast as she could in the other direction.

Junai saw the girl run towards them and then turn around, her ears went back and she let her instincts take charge. Immediately she ran after the girl, running on all fours with the cloak tucked into her belt. "Human! Stop where you are. We will not hurt you." she called, pushing herself faster as she ran, just behind the girl.
Artari followed to the left, a ways off so he could hopefully catch her if the girl made a move. His claws dug into the earth, grabbing and pushing with such force as he ran, his tail trailing behind him.

Sasoriza huffed and rolled to the side, grabbing a low branch and swinging herself up. When she got a good grip, her hand shot out and she went as high as she hoped was far enough, which was a long way from ground. She knew that she wouldn't be able to fight them off anyways. Not in this state. Her eyes were still unfocused from sleep and tears and her muscles ached from the sudden run. "That's what they always say...The last time I heard that, they went and burned down my village." She said, eyes wary and stance tense. "I think I'm fine up here, thanks." They could be with that bear that was chasing her earlier for all she knew.

Junai slid to a hault and looked up at the girl, her golden orbs careful on every detail and thinking before hand of the possibilities this girl could do in a tree. "We mean you no harm and if it's an oath you want then by the Gods we'll swear to you we mean it." she said with a slight growl to her voice, annoyed a little that the girl was so stubborn.
Artari skidded to a stop behind the jaguar, his muscles tense from running. "Girl, what the jaguar says is true. We are with a secret organization for protecting humans, if you don't believe me then read this." he said pulling out a scroll from his leg harness and tossing it up to her. His own golden eyes curious as to what she would then say.
The scroll contained, in human and Anthro language, the creed of their organization, talking of how humans are important to Anthros because they are the key to life, without them the world would be nothing because of their knowledge and craftsmanship. Humans essentially meant there was a reason to live as Anthros. Even though most of them hunted humans for food instead of their own kind or wild animals who hadn't turned to Anthros because of major mutations in the blood, mainly from human bred species. So the organization called Humanis Felicis wanted to protect the human life force, to provide a safe haven for any still left alive.

Sasoriza read the scroll carefully and cautiously dropped down from the tree. She handed the scroll back to the tiger hesistantly and nodded. "Alright...I'll believe you." Somewhere, in the back of her mind, a pin-p***k of hope was glowing. Maybe...Just maybe....Zekiel could be there as well....

His clawed hand reached down to take the scroll from the girl and tucked it back into his pouch and nodded his thanks. Junai took the moment to pull the cloak from her belt and hand it to the girl. "This will keep you hidden till we get to the hide out. It's been rubbed in the scent of a smaller creature so no one should suspect anything." she said watching Artari pace before them, the tiger's muscles rippled as he walked.
"We should be getting back, they may wonder where we are.." he said, his voice gruff and he began to walk off from them, Junai following suit.

Sasoriza slipped the cloak over her figure and marveled at how it completely hid her, before running after the Anthros. "By the way, I never caught your names..." She started. "I'm Sasoriza...." She paused, waiting for their reply. If she was going to be with them for the while, might as well try and be more comfortable around them...
