Terentia could not sleep tonight for some odd reason, she was comfy in her little bed however the dream world did not want to let her in, whenever she closed her eyes she felt wide awake, so she took this opportunity to go for a walk alongside the river. Her long feet feather trailing one after the other as she moved. Her eyes where on the sky. She had always loved the stars and looks upon their beauty when ever she found the chance to do so. However there seemed to be none in sight tonight, a thick black cloud was covering them and it seemed the only light was coming for her illuminant jewels and ribbon. She began to hum to herself. Trying to clear her mind of thoughts so she could go and get some sleep, she had a busy day tomorrow. So it was needed.

Cael looked around before lowering his mouth to the water. He had yet to settle anywhere, so he was always being cautious. To him home was a safe place, and since the two legger that had raised him died, he had not had a safe place of his own. Usually he would find a place that was mostly enclosed to sleep, bt he had had no luck this night, the clouds had brought on an early twilight and it had been too dark to quickly for him to find a haven.
Enjoying a nice cold drink of water, he wished that the moon was showing at least a little. He loved the night sky, well he loved all the skies of the day, but the night sky was extreamly lovely to him. Plus it was easyer to see where he was going when there was at least a little moonlight. Straightening after his drink and looking around again he did a double take. Seeing what looked like glowbugs and a glowing, flying snake... That couldn't be right, it was still too cold for such things, and snakes didn't glow let alone fly.
Walking slowly towards the glowing phenominum slowly, wondering what on earth they were. Not yet able to make out the shape of the white mare that came with the glow.

Terentia was not a mare to be niave. It was not too long ago, on a dark night this were someone tried to kill her. The thing is, he almost did. He almost killed her and she would never forget it. So when she heard the sound of someone approaching without saying a word. She thought something was up. Wanting to put a little light on the situation she closed her eyes. The angeni had always been blessed with powers that others had not, one of them was called holy light and was the thing that kept her safe more than anything else. A light flashed from her body illuminating the area around her, it did not cause any kind of hurt to creatures, just a flash, sometimes it was enough to warn off dark spirits. Sometimes it was just enough to blind people for a moment. However no real damage was done by it. Just a light afterall.

Staggering a little as the little glowing things burst into brilliant light, blinking and shaking his head, his sight foggy and dark with bright after images. Looking round, not able to see anything clearly now as wherever he looked he saw glowing spots. More confused than hurt Cael jubbed his nose and eyes against his front leg, looking round and blinking again, having no idea what had just happend but it wasn't good to be blinded however temporerily. Having fortunately not met any of the dark and evil soquili he had herd about, but this would be the worst time he could meet one. Whinnying and fussing again a little, blinking as his vision starts to come back, though his eyes were still spotty, and he was no longer accustomed to the dark.

When the stallion could once again see Terentia was straight in front of him with a hurt look on her face. "I am so sorry, you scared me, I should have said something are you okay? are you hurt?" she fused looking up at him feeling really guilty inside. She would not hurt anyone, however she was so cautious now about people lurking in the dark, she only hoped she could make it up to him in some way. She tilted her head taking a better look at him
He was one of those new breeds, the ones that had come to the lands after the fire. When she first saw him, she thought he was a deer at first, until she noticed how beautifully patterned his coat was, like a sunset. Her ears flopped back, hoping she was not overwhelming him or anything. She hoped he would forgive her, she really did.

Cael finished blinking, focusing on the shape of a mare infront of him, smiling and shaking off her apology. "I'm fine Miss, just a few glowing spots lingering, but I was seeing things glowing before the bright flash." Giving an easy grin, not hurt and it seemd neither was she so there was nothign wrong with the world. "Sorry for startleing you, I was just roaming with no place in mind... Well that was till I saw some glowing things floating towards me, then I got curious." Looking over what he could see of her, though he was trying not to be rude about it.
His eyes settleing on hers, not really seeing eyes thouh, more dark orbs that seemd fathomless. "I'm sorry if I startled you, I was just wandering along, trying to keep moving. My name is Caelius, its a pleasure to meet you." Giving an engaging and friendly smile, hoping that settles her worries. There was no har, and nothing to forgive to his thinking.
