A creek in a large clearing. It's in the center of the woods.

It took Alice waking up to realize that she had fallen asleep. She gently rubbed her blue eyes and pulled a silvery gray braid from the water. Strangely enough, the braid came out dry. Alice sat down upright, but soon found herself laying down. Kicking her legs in the air, she dipped her finger in the water. It made gentle ripples as she poked the water, and marveled at how she never got wet.

Alice yawned softly and got to her feet. The little girl moved her braids behind her head before she steadily began walking towards the cabins. She was currently residing in the Hermes Cabin until her father claimed her. But Alice really didn't mind. Though it would nice to have at least one parent who cared about her...

Myka sighed softly, grateful for the silence. She had slipped away slightly unnoticeably, though to Sho it'd be obvious that her thoughts had been long gone. She sat down beside the creek and took off her jacket. She felt vulnerable, and somehow, Myka liked it. She let down part of her gaurd, but was still on alert. She closed her eyes and ran a hand through her hair. It should grow back in it's natural sandy brown, and she should let her eyebrows grow in as well. Maybe then she'd have a softer appearance. Less...aggressive, maybe?

"I doubt that you could ever look less aggressive and vulnerable. Besides, why would you want to?" Sho asked drily, sitting down next to her. His jet black hair was loose, and it fell around his face as he stared off into the distance, not wanting to break the silence. Ayame was long gone, off swimming with some boy she's met. Sho made a face. If he was being honest with himself (and he usually wasn't) he still didn't have any clue why he'd followed Myka out here. The word stalker drifted around in his mind, and Sho frowned.

Myka looked up, but didn't turn around. The air shifted her hair and when it settled, the crimson locks were in slight dissaray around her shoulders. "Never wanted to look vulnerable, I'd much rather look less aggressive." she replied, her tone even. She pulled her knees up to her chest, but did not wrap her arms around her knees. Instead, Myka leaned back on her hands, letting them support her weight. She sighed softly. "And is there anything wrong with a member of the female species looking to change her appearance?" she asked evenly.

"I don't think the look 'less aggressive' would really suite you." Sho said, matching her couldn't-care-less tone perfectly. "Besides, with hair like that, I don't think you're going to be able to look anything other that angry, spiteful, aggressive, loud and firey." He shrugged, and pulled his hair into a pony-tail once more. "How do you think I would look with braids?" He asked, abruptly changing the subject. "Ayame once said there was this one movie where this one guy played this one other guy who had the same name as me, and that one guy had lots and lots of small braids pulled back in a ponytail. Or something like that."

Myka turned her head. "I'm not sure if I should be insulted or flattered." she replied, a smirk on her face. She turned her head back to looking at the creek and sighed. "Not cornrow braids, but maybe dreadlocks might work for you...I saw this guy in some old manga that had dreadlocks and it looked...interesting to say the least." she replied.

Sho smiled slightly. "Really?" He asked sarcastically. "How very fascinating. But if you don't mind me asking, why exactly did you come out here? I doubt it was to be all alone and emo; though tell me if I'm wrong." He lay back on the grass, and closed his eyes. "Ayame is really excited that you're going to teach her." He said in a softer voice. "I really think she admires you Myka, hard as that might be to believe."

Myka laughed softly and shook her head. "I didn't come out here to be emo, you can trust me on that. I came out here for the silence. No one really comes to Zephynos Creek often. It's a really calm place." she replied, her voice becoming soft. Though Myka loved the silence of the place, the quiet scared her. Silence was a fear of Myka's. Not the absence of sound, but just silence. The quiet scared her for it screamed the truth. What the truth was, Myka could be forever unsure, but not knowing caused fear in her heart as well. "I'm glad to be teaching Ayame. She seems like a fast learner." Myka said after some time later.

Sho sensed the gist of what Myka was thinking, but didn't dwell on it. People's minds where supposed to be a place where they could get away; where they could make-up the rules for the world which they created. They could do whatever they wanted, and no one would know. That was why, at times like this, Sho hated his gift. He scowled, and nodded. "She is. At least, she was when I taught her. But I'm sure that says little about her, and more about me." Sho shrugged again, still lying on the ground, and the frown faded from his face. It was hard to be angry in such a peaceful place.

Myka smiled once more, and for once didn't reply. The thoughts that shot around her mind slowed significantly as her heart beat slowed and as her breathing slowed. Myka sighed and let herself fall onto her back. She tried clearing her mind, but found that significantly boring as a few thoughts kept popping in her mind. She rested her hands atop her ears and closed her eyes, in hopes that the thoughts would stop. 'What am I even doing?' she wondered.

Sho lay on the grass, not quite awake and not quite asleep. The two of them lay on the ground in the silent clearing for some time before Sho spoke. "Hey, Myka," He began, his voice soft, not wanting to break the still, peaceful silence of the clearing. "What do you think of me?" He asked bluntly.

Myka blinked her eyes open and got up. Leaving her things by the water, she walked over to Sho and sat down beside him. She closed her eyes gently as she lay down. "You're a hard character to figure out with just words. You've got a good heart, and I can tell that you care feircly about people close to you." she replied, her voice calm and even. She blinked one eye open, a slight smile on her face. "I think you're a good person, Sho." she said a short while later. Myka sighed softly. 'But you can sometimes come off as a bit of an overprotective a*****e. It's understandable, and actually kind of cute.' she thought, knowing well that he could and would hear her.

Sho sat up, and hissed, his eyes flashing black with anger. Shaking his head, he sighed and stood up, trying to control the multiple emotions that were racing through him. "Well." He started, then stopped, his face cold and blank. "I guess what I'm trying to say, or would be trying to say if I could spit it out is that I like you Myka. A lot." He muttered, then shrugged. "Just something for you to think about." Sho grit his teeth, hating himself, and started to walk away.
