Inactivity has always been a plague to giantess guilds across Gaia, and I've recently drawn up plans for a large-scale project in which the various giantess guilds of Gaia band together and form a united guild. Division does not help our plight, and I believe if we can combine the small sparks of activity scattered amongst the guilds, a self-sustaining process will lead to more and more activity. Leadership would be divided rather equally between the original leaders and a crew they select. Elections by the active populace will decide the top leader, but this is mostly a figurehead position, with the elections in place so that one person can't claim dominance and to encourage member activity. For more information on this plan, feel free to reply to this message and ask for clarification.
However, concerns have arisen in the think-tank for this idea that I set up in another guild. Communities may clash, as members of one guild may not like members in another. For this reason, I proposed we set up a colonial effort, and send a handful of people from each guild into the new one, to form a basic community which we can build upon. This way, if problems arise, a semi-stable system is already in place, and total chaos won't ensue. At least, this is what I hope.
Autonomy will still be present. A number of subforums will be dedicated to things such as recovering and continuing RPs carried over from other guilds, and the like. Any input would be most welcome, if you have comments or concerns.
