Can somebody please tell me what this means in English:

It doesn't make any sense.
Para qué means 'why' and it needs to be followed by a verb.

If someone actually said that, the best I can guess is that they meant, "For which nest do you serve the silver?". But either it's some crazy slang or that person is an idiot.

Hmm, well thanks for trying. neutral I thought maybe I couldn't understand it because it was dialect or something.

It's the title of a section on the Panama Canal and General Torrijos, written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
