But I'll put it here. This is half fanart, half original. The character on the left is mine, totally original. The character on the right, however, is from Mark Crilley's manga series, Miki Falls. http://g-man777.deviantart.com/art/Raph-VS-Reika-152878845

Nice! They're good looking girls. I like their hair and their skin's shaded well, but I don't see much shading on their hair and eyes at all. That's all I notice.

Gondolion put it in the trash, you can do better. My, my. What a nasty comment. You should apologize before you are reported.
To the OP: I really like this picture, although I would love to see it in colour and have darker shades.

There is a little on the eyes, but I had to shrink the picture so much when I posted it that you can't really tell. Bone-Butterfly To the OP: I really like this picture, although I would love to see it in colour and have darker shades. I don't know about color, but I am still shading it here and there. (I was gonna just leave it, but I can't resist going ballistic on the shading!)

Post deleted for flaming, I'm sorry that everyone here had to witness that. My advice on this is that your hair looks a little odd. Hair doesn't really hold shapes or jagged edges, it flows smoothly and is usually a little uneven. Try drawing individual lines at the ends of your hair to make it appear like it has hair strands. here's a good example: Hair TutorialI know it's digital, but look at the picture. See how those little lines make those individual strands? Reference is great for help. You're off to a good start, and you've got a lot of potential. I want to see more from you!

I'll keep that in mind, cause I'm still tweaking things here and there on the left girl, Raph, although I will be leaving Reika as is, cause that's how Mark Crilley draws her hair, and whenever I fanart I try to draw in the OA's (Original Artist) style. I may upload them separately as well so you can see the details better, because this is actually two drawings I merged into one.

Well, I did what I could on the hair, but it's not much, cause I had darkened the original lines too far to erase, so I just tried to add a few strays on the underside of the strands. I did bump up the shading a bit though.
