The blue lion was on yet another restocking trip for his pride. He was making these more and more often it seemed. Not that Yuan minded, but there were only so many rare trinkets lying about. Some times he just brought back bones and claimed they had been blessed by insert a name of a god here.
But so was the life of a crocodile.
He had a whole lot of fake charms to trade if needed so he was ready if he needed to bartor for anything. Though, where was the fun in that? Taking was much more challenging. Ah yes, the world was for taking.
So the lion wandered aimlessly not entirely sure what he was looking for. Yuan would know when he found it though.

She always moved in a slinky manner, her body lythe and slim, almost snake like in it's appearance, despite being a lion, her black fur tipped with lilac and marked with a snake spoke of exactly who she was. She was a snake trapped in a lions body and by her side slithered her companion in this cursed life of a lion, Kaa.The huge snake moved just as quickly as the lioness marking a path in the ground with his huge bulk. They never had any problems, where ever they went they could easily turn away a pack of hyenas or even a couple of lions, Kaa was old, no one really knew how old, how many years he had been growing to this huge size, his girth as wide as a lions back. "Lion ahead." He hisses raising up on his coils and staring at the blue lion.Asperdites smiles a wide, seductive smile and makes a bee line for the blue lion, she didn't really know why, but she liked to occasionally converse with a lion, even though clearly, she was a snake. "Greeetinnnggsssss" she whispers her voice drawn out in a long hiss of a hello.

The blue lions ears wiggled, had some one just greeted him, looking to his side he noticed her. A beauty for sure, why had he not sensed her earlier. The way she greeted him was a tad strange but Yuan shrugged it off. He had yet to notice her huge snake companion.
"Fine day we have here," He cocked a brow at her secretly studying the snake like marking on her shoulder from the corner of his eye. It made the hiss of a hello make sense.
Hmm, he was in no hurry to get any where today. Yuan rested on his haunches, maybe this female knew of a place he could find his next treasure. Little chit chat here and there could be useful.

Asperdites smiles a light, fangy smile, looking the blue male over "Yesss, it's alwayyysss quite pleasennttt." Sh puurrs looking down at the large snake.
Kaa's tongue flickers out as he slithers closer to asper, slithering his body up between her forelegs and wrapping a small part of his body around her shoulders, eyeing the blue lion. "He seems lost Asperdites, or perhaps he is simply looking for something."
Asper tilts her head, obviously unworried by the fact that a very large snake was encompassing her body. "Areee you losssttt?" she whispers, raising a brow at him, it hardly concerned her if he was lost but any conversation with a lion was interesting, perhaps he would have good information.

The lion had disreguarded the hissing lisp until her huge snake slithered up and wrapped part of it self to the lioness. That was something that made the lion ... jump. Maybe that was an under statement, leap back.
"HOLY HELL!" He roared , surprised. He hadn't sensed the lioness and now there was a huge snake. What? That was just... okay so the lisp and the shoulder marking could have been a clue. Yuans heart raced, as he stood there staring at the huge snake and the lioness.
His reaction had been more then embarassing.
"Im.. sorry.. What.. Snake? Lioness.... Snake? " He was bewildered by the whole thing.

Asperdites tilts her head curiously, she was very confused at the large blue lions reaction to her companion, friend, partner, "Thissss is kaa, he won't hurt youuu." She hisses a laughing chuckle, air seeping between her lips so she sounded like a laughing snake rather than a lioness. "He won't eat youuuu." She smirks.
Kaa rattles off a snicker too and shakes his wide diamond shaped head "I could eat him, but I won't" His forked tongue flickers out in to the air, his wide blue eyes looking at the big maned lion. "do you always jump like a cub when you are greeted?" He snerks.
The black lioness flickers her lilac fringe out of her eyes "I thinkkkssss he hasssss never seeeeennn ssssuch a sight my kaa." she licks her tongue over her lips and shakes her head. "ssssnap out of it, hmm? I wass looking for a conversssationnnn not a ssssstutter fesssstttt."

The lion blinked at the two, his mind gone a little numb. He stood there for a moment trying to piece the pieces together of how and ... how. The lioness spoke more like a snake should then the actual snake.
"Conversation, " His eyes stayed pin at the snake for a moment. He watched the lioness lick at its lips. He was being the rude one in this trio. His reaction when they clearly meant no harm... at least he hoped so. Yuan didn't fully trust everyone.
"I'msorry." He spoke like he did when he was conning someone. Fast, but he wasn't trying to con these two right now, he was just on pins and needles. "I'veneverseen.. " The lion coughed, "Never seen such a lovely snake.... I was..." He still was , "a little surprised." Understatement of the year.

Syr Asperdites hissed a hissing laugh and shakes her head, her lilac eyes filtering over the blue male. "Not many haveee ssseeennn a sssnakke asss wonderful a** kaa." She smiles a crooked smile and sits on her haunches the hugs snake moving to wrap it's coils around her now that she was comfortable. "Compliments will get you no where my friend, we simply came this way to say hello. Asperdites likes to speak to lions occasionally, I simply join her." He looks the blue lion over, his tongue lisping out between his lips, tasting the air around the male. "Whheerr o you haiiill from sssiirr?" The dark lioness questions her watery eyes fixed upon the large lion with a quiet curiosity, she had nevers een such a blue lion before, he almost looked like a puddle of water, in lion form. Chobi The lion relaxed some letting his tension filter out. It was a visable change in the lion as his muscles relaxed some. "I'm from a pride not to far frome here," He was still pretty close to his home lands. He'd only just left in search of things to trade after all. "Its maybe a days of walking away or less. Not to far." He cocked a brow at the female and the snake. "If its alright may I ask the same question? I don't mean to sound rude but... there aren't many snakes and lions that travel together," He eyed the snake and watched it as the snakes tongue flicked out and tasted the air. He'd never really had a fear of snakes in general but something about this snake, maybe the size, just made him a little uneasy. He could see him self being eaten and that was an unsettling thought. Syr The dark lioness smirks "wee travellsss abouuttt" She hisses, her dark ears flickering as she turns to kaa and nuzzles her nose in to the scaled body "Kaa looksss after me, he always hass" She puurrs looking back at the bright blue lion. "Youurrr pride, whyyy do you leave it?" Kaa snikkers a hissing laugh, his eyes narrowing to slits as he watches the blue lion. He had never seen a lion so afraid of him. It was amusing to watch the blue lion dither. "We have travelled for a long time, no where has taken our fancy, as yet." Chobi The lion blinked and smiled, "I always return to my pride. Im a merchant," He gave them both a smile and was sure to leave out the part about also being a theif and a conman. No need to openly admit that, nope. What kind of thief would out him self? "If you two would like I could escort you back to wonderland. Maybe somethings there that might catch your fancy," He gave the lioness a suave smile. "You and you're partner." He gave a nod to the snake. Kaa seemed like an alright fellow, but Yuan couldn't get over the size. Kaa was huge. Yuan never wanted to make Kaa mad for any reason, he'd seen what snakes did to their prey and it was a horrifying thought. Syr The dark lioness looks thoughtful for a long moment then lets a nod shake her head "Yess, i thinkss we sssshhhould do that kaa, wonderland, it sssounds perfectly wonderful." she hisses getting to her paws again "Lead on merchant." He smiles. Kaa snakes his way down the dark, lilac tipped lioness his thick body whirlling around her legs as he approaches the blue lion, his long body slithering past and around the blue lion momentarily though his thick scaled body did not touch the blue lions paws, it was a sort of warning, unwritten unspoken, simply the sound of that imence body against the grass. Chobi Yuan felt him self jump out of his body for a brief moment. The snake slithering past him had been enough to get Yuan twitching. Note to self, do - not - piss- kaa - off -ever. Seriously, even if it had not been a warning the lion would have still had his heart beating in his throat. "R-right," He said at last. "Lets errr follow Kaa..." The truth was he didn't want the snake behind him. Syr The lioness snikkers a long low hiss of a laugh watching Kaa move off through the long grasses cutting a path for the two lions behind him "You have nothing to fear from me little lion." The snake slithers on his long body moving aside any and all creatures from his path. "He'sss a softy really." Asper grins, walking up beside Yuan and padding next to him. "He'ss just very protective of meee." She smiles one of those crooked smiles "Wonderland, ssoundss perfectly interesssting." Chobi The lion gave an odd nervous smile to the snake. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be left alone for an extended point of time with that snake... "Ye-yeah wonderlands something else. " He shook his head and kept his pace up. "I m sure you'll it'll be to yours and Kaa's liking," He gave the snake a nervous glance. Oh boy this trip was going to be the end of him. Yuan was sure he'd die from a heart attack.
