I was just wondering who went. My school, Valhalla from El Cajon, went to the SCSBOA champs this year. We performed/played to the show The Incredibles and sadly...won 8th...our GUard on 4th but could've won higher if a certain judge didn't jip us. domokun Anywho, just wondering how many people on gaia went to this one of southern cali.

La Mirada hasn't gone in 2 years, cause these past few years the judges have been really stupid to us. Last year we missed it by 1 point and this year by .03 of a point. Can you say lame?

SCRIPPS RANCH!
Yeah, we got jipped, but before the championships. We needed (and deserved), like a 70 or higher to make it, but the stupid judges at the stupid Capistrano Valley tournament (Which I remember Valhalla was at) gave us a 59 point something! We were all pissed, because that was our best performance ever, and we scored lower than we did at mira mesa the week before...
However, if I may take one victory from this Scripps beat Valhalla in our music score by 30 points at one of the tournaments lol (I believe CV because Hickman knows how to judge and he scored us on music). Oh, and who's the guy who conducted backfield for Valhalla? We were talking a little, and the guy, in the middle of your show, turns around and scolds us for "being the rudest band he's ever seen" not that our director cared lol

I'm from Chino.
We won Championships this year. Man, that was a great night. Lotta hugging, and some of the people even party boyed the band director. XD

my school did the incredibles too whee but sadly we have never been to the championships emo or at least not that I know of.

er regionals right?
I'm from south pointe middle school..we usually get in..and win or atleast get second place...
but, apparently, they had no more room for us or something like that rolleyes and all four bands got straight superiors [yes, sixth grade, seventh[[me!]] eighth, wind ensemble [[i'm in there too XD]]
stare so uncool...

Championships? Like, field shows? We don't do those... confused
But.. aha! A rival! Chino, we're winning at that um... that band review where we compete with you... the name is escaping me. But we're gonna win! blaugh

My school's gone the last two years, but I'm not sure about this year.. >_> Our band's shaky this year cuz of our new director.

My school went too this year, Colony High from Ontario, CA. We did the show Scheherazade and got 9th.

whoa, i read the first one and i'm like, wait... MY band got 8th (i think)...
then i looked at the date: 2006 redface
I'm from EHS, we didn't make it last year, and i'm a sophmore this year, so i dunno how many times we've been...
But i think we were FANTASTIC this year! 4laugh
