No Paint Face Up
Wash head, use Mr. Super Clear/Testors Dullcote to seal. Shave Soft Chalk Pastels with an emery board, Blush, seal, Use watercolor pencils for Eyeliner/Eyelashes/Eyebrows, seal, use acrylic gloss for lips and eye shine, and seal with Mr. Super Clear/Testors Dullcote.

Make Scars
Use a white watercolor pencil to draw a scar, blush around line with pastel, use white glue to trace white line with a toothpick, dry, blush, re-draw white line, re-glue, dry again, blush again, seal it.

Make Tattoos
Draw with Water Color Pencil, color with Pastels, may use Acrylic paint for darker lines.

Pierce Ears *MUST HAVE FREESTANDING EARLOBES*
Mark hole with pencil, Make sure they both line up, Use a safety pin to make an indention to keep the drill bit from slipping, CAREFULLY drill the hole in the ear lobe with a Pin Vice (1/16 inch drill bit) or Dremel tool with tiny drill bit, add earrings, done!

*To avoid re-stringing in order to seal a part just wrap the rest of the BJD in plastic wrap*

sweatdrop OK! After TONS of wishy-washy thinking I bought a Moxie Teen Tristan to get used to the idea of a 1/4 BJD. The wig comes off, clothes are odd to find, she fits more Ken clothes than Barbie... anyway still fun.

Unfortunately I decided to find a BJD that's affordable, not so big, and easy to find clothes for.

Bobobie/Resinsoul Dolls are THE cheapest on the market, but are still wonderful in quality. After tons of research I found a size I like. 1/6. Yes... I understand it's a size many "real" BJD owners hate for various reasons. I like the size because the Bobobie I have in mind can wear Moxie Teen clothes, wigs, and even her eyes! (creepy but awesome)

1/6 Bobobie BJD's can wear LIV doll wigs and clothes. Plus lots of Barbie clothes/accessories work too. Down side... the dolls look more childish than adult in body type. Can get over it though, the faces are adorable!

My "New ldea" would be to actually get my first BJD a Bobobie 1/6 March in White skin on a Resinsoul body. (Discovered Resinsoul bodies/hands fit better in Barbie clothes than Bobobie body's) I'd like her ears pierced (it looks like they don't charge) I want her to have blue lips and light pink body blush. Custom face-up is $25 dunno if that includes body blushing. Anyway still dreaming, and researching. In-case you couldn't tell I DO tend to change my mind a lot!
