It is a clear and bright day. A great day to play out doors. A mother and her spawn where out for a just that at a playground. Melody was standing on one of the bridges looking about and waving to her mother. "Look how high I am mommy!" the toddler called out to her mother who was at a bench in the shade. Watching over her child Nicole gave a smile and an wave while hoping she will not hurt anyone nearby with her claws or spikes. The toddler walked across the bridge over to a slide waiting her turn to go down. When it was she sat down and heald her dress down so it would not fly or ride up as she went down. With a little scoot she started her trip down the slide with a laugh and as she reached the end she tried to stop herself but landed with a thud in the sand.
Nicole was about to get up but when she saw her child get up she calmed down a bit and went back to watching her. Melody dusted herself off out of the way of any other kids sliding down then looked for anything else that will be fun and exciting. She has already tried the swings and climbed about but she did not want to go home yet. She headed back up to the bridge to see if anything from up there she will want to play on next.

A young boy and a teenaged girl with yellow skin and a funny head had wandered to the playground by that point. The boy looked normal enough, save for the rainbow tips to his hair and the rainbow tentacles that were trailing along at his sides. They were rather odd looking, snaky and had googly eyes pasted to them, which was weird enough without the color patterning.
"You be good now, k?" the funny headed girl told her son with a huge grin. "Go play and let Boris and Natasha play too!"
The boy nodded his head and dashed towards the ladder to climb up to the bridge. He spotted Mel on his way up and waved at her with his one hand before attempting to dislodge one of his tentacles, which had decided to cling to the ladder rungs.

Melody wandered to her destination looking out like a little pirate when she spotted a most curious boy. He had these tentcales with eyes on them. She returned the wave and walked over to him. He seemed friendly enough. Maybe he would play with her so she would not have to go home so soon. When she was close she gave a wave. "Who yew? Those things see?" She pointed to the eyes on the tentacles. She had to admit they where a pretty colors but the eyes where funny. Melody kept her wings closed tightly so that they will not hit anyone and her tail curled beside her waiting to see if the boy will answer her or run away.

"M'Steve. You?" he asked, "I dunno. Think they do. Mama put eyes on them since they acted like they could." he explained, nodding his head a good bit.
Boris leaned over to seemingly look at Mel, but on seeing the "eyes" closer up, it was obvious they weren't real working eyes and were looking in other directions. Yet, the tentacle seemed to "See" just fine. "Tha's Boris. N'tha's Nat'sha." he said, pointing to each tentacle, realizing they needed introductions.

"They not real?" Melody took a closer look at the eyes glued to his tentacles and sure enough they where not real but more like eyes she could see sometimes on a doll or a funny piece of art she could make. She could not help but laugh a bit seeing the googly eyes on them. Why a mother will glue them on she will not know. "Will it hurt to take them off or yew weave them there? Oh! I Melody. Nice to meat you uuuhhh tree?" She tilted her head a bit.
Melody looked about the playground once more then back to Steve. "Yew seem like fun. Yew pway with me?" She smiled hoping the would say yes and play.

"Nope, not real." Steve said with a nod, patting them. "No, I dun think so? They falls off now and then. S'just glue."
THe dark haired boy nodded. "Sure! Let's play!" he agreed, "What though?"

Melody gives one of the eyes a light tap with her clawed fingers. "Least it dun't hurt. Hopely you won't wose the eyes." She said giving a small nod. She liked how they looked like little snakes or large caterpillars with the eyes.
"'Kay! Lets see..." She looked about the playground a bit then back at Steve. Useing the palm of her hand she have a quick little push with a smile. "Tag! Yew it!" With that she quickly ran across the bridge trying to make her escape to the slide while not trying to knock anyone else over.

Steve yelped, grabbing ahold of the ladder before chasing after her. He'd nearly fallen but that was okay! This was a chase!
The boy dashed after Melody and tried to follow her down the slide. Luckily there weren't many kids up there to get in the way or be pushed. Boris extended out ahead of him and tagged the girl's tail. "Tag!" he called before dashing past her and down the slide.

Melody squeaked when she was caught with a tag on her tail and saw him dash in front of her and down the slide. "He fast. I gonna get ya!" She called out and followed him down the slide for the chase. She had no clue of where he will run off to but he could not be too far. When she made it to the bottom she moved out of the way of the slide and looked about to see if any one of his tentacles around. "Where he go?"

Steve hadn't gone far at all from the slide and had been obviously running away form it towards the swings, but she'd apparently missed him. Nimble for a child of his age, he held onto the chains and used his tentacles to climb onto the top pole, balancing very precariously up there. Another kid on the swings looked up and gaped, his mother nearby looking shocked and about to tell him to get down.
Wamii, meanwhile, was watching and laughing. As long as he wasn't badly hurt, this would be fine.

Melody looked about for a moment then spotted him up on top of the swings. Running over quickly as she could so that she could catch him.. at least she hoped that. He was pretty quick. When she got near the swings she jumped up a bit and flapped her wings to no luck. Even with a slight wing boost she still could not reach the boy. "How yew get up there?" She asked and looked around for some way to reach him. She could try to shimmy up one of the swing poles to reach him. Running to the nearest one she wrapped her body around it and tried to climb up the pole.

About that time, Boris and Natasha had decided that they needed to escape and tried to climb down. Steve, however, had still been clinging, not totally informed of this change, and was quite suddenly yanked.
"EEEEE!" he screamed, hands yanked hard and crashing down onto the swing below him, his belly catching on it hard and fast, winding him a tad.
The toddler wasn't majorly hurt but had a few small problems. It had hurt a lot to be yanked like that and then to have his stomach hit so hard, so both his arms and tummy hurt; and the boy's elbow and knees had hit the metal poles and scraped on the ground during his fall, which hurt a lot. And to make matters worse, when trying to pull him up, Natasha had grabbed onto the swing's chains, and pulled, pinching Boris as it wrapped around.
Wamii dashed over, reaching out for her son just as Steve started to bite his quivering lip and look misty eyed.

Melody saw him fall and basically freaked out. Did she make him fall? Did he slip? All that she could think of was that it was her fault that he fell. She watched as his mother come running to him to see if he was okay and to comfort him. She walked slowly over to the two with her wings tucked tightly and when she was close enough her tail curled around her feet. "....Is... Is he 'kay? ...... It my fault he went up there... We play tag and I was it.... I sorry Steve, Boris, Natasha, and Steve Mommy." She hung her head as she apologized to them all. She never wanted this to happen and blamed herself for it.
Nicole was watching her child when she saw Steve fall and Melody nearby. She got up and rushed over to see if any harm happened to the fallen child even if it did not seem like her daughter's doing.

STeve shook his head. "B'ris, N't'sha fault." he mumbled, wiping his eyes quickly and smiling. "Didn't know I had to leggo yet."
Wamii smiled and hugged her son. "Don't worry, hon. You don't have to say you're sorry. STeve was doing something dangerous and he got hurt. It's his fault." the girl assured Melody with a wave of her hand. "He shouldn't have climbed up there. He'll know better now and he's not hurt, are you bucko?"
The boy shook his head and smiled again. He was sore, but he wasn't hurt.

Melody shuffled a bit in her spot still feeling bad he fell. "I still picked bad game.... Yew sure yew 'kay?" She asked again just to make sure as she lifted her head to see the two. "Anything I do to make better?" The little spawn wanted to at least make it up to him that he fell somehow or even to the mother for her bad choice in games.
Nicole stood nearby worrisome of what happened. Should she get a first aid kit or something for them? The poor mother was frazzled of what to do. It was not her child but felt responsible cause her daughter was playing with him. "M.. Melody! Don't bother them dear!" She called out hoping for her to come running to her but had a feeling she was not gonna come to her just yet.
