Hey fellow gamerz! I made this topic a long time ago but Gaia erased all of the topics that one time....don't remember why but anyways, I'm sorry if someone's talked about this already, but give me ur feedback on what u would think of a Halo movie. People are already starting to make it, but what do u think it should be based on, the games or something before the games or after etc. Or just go ahead and talk about how stupid it'll be or anything like that. I just want to post this topic again and see wat u have to say! Thnx pplz! heart
P.S. I already made this topic in the gaming discussion forum but why not put it here too? biggrin

Well, from what I've heard, The Rock is going to be playing John(117)... and I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
But one thing that will gaurantee to make it good is that Peter Jackson is having a hand in making it, and as we all know, anything Peter Jackson touches instantly turns to gold... then platinum.
Jackson's not directing, he's producing. But he did say that he was going to be directing the director... as it were. So I expect good things.
then again, I expected good things from tomb raider...

I knew Peter Jackson had somthing to do with it, but I didn't know he was producing O.O *squeee* The people who made the LOTR costumes are doing the ones for the movie also, I believe.
But, anyways, I'm thinking it'll be based on the books... but I'm not positive.
Do you know who's playing MC? I don't know why, but I've always though of him as blonde *shrug*
I can't wait to see it.

well here's what I heard on the halo movie
(personally I'll go see if for th special effects thats about it, if there's a story line I'll be impressed)
okies so Peter Jackson the Director of LOTR has been drafted by Microsoft to Direct Halo the Movie and the Microsoft had made him sign about 40 piles of legal papers dictating that he wouldn't mess with the story line or differ from the halo universe.
so I'm guessing this movie will be geared towards the halo gamer cult lol.

Crap crying I like the Rock and all... but seriously! He just had that whatca-call-it one... Doom (right?) and I heard that sucked. They should at least dye his hair blonde x.x; Or get the dude who actually does MC's voice and just keep him in the suit, like in the game, the whole time.

i will certainly enjoy a halo movie. but the rock isn't big enough to fill the armor that MC fills in the game. he's not 7 feet tall...and he's not nearly big enough. they'd have to pick someone bigger and beefier...like kevin nash...to be able to be MC. and i'm sure that it'll be like in star wars where they have the guy in the suit then a voice actor like with darth vader. i also only heard talk they might make one...have they definately decided they're going to make one...and if so...where can i find that information?

I suggest you check it out good info on all other upcoming movies as well. http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&cf=prev&id=1808750180Release Date: Summer 2007 It says some stuff about Peter Jackson, maybe he will direct it and we will have another 3 hour movie on our hands (since every film that went big has been over 3 hours, LOTD trilogy and King Kong).
