Randeh: It was a rather bright cool night on the savvanah. Olayinka lifted her head panting and looking around with her belly hanging low. She snorted at the air and jumped off the branch she'd been survaying on. She she was having trouble making good kills. Rabbits and hares out ran her and larger prey were a danger to her young. Natural instict kept her from going after them.
Scavaging had left her with a scar on her shoulder from another leopard that had warned her that it wouldn't be tolerated. She kept pushing on. Hoping for decent prey or at least some scraps from something else.
Chobi: A bright green cheetah had been watching not to far away. The leopard looked like she was in the middle of some sort of game. It looked like she was looking for something?
Pilate just had to see what was up with this game. She wanted to play.
"Hey!" She cried to the leopard. The cheetah got on all fours and padded over to see what was up.

Randeh: Olayinka shifted her ears in the direction of the call then put them back. It sounded like another female. She let out a gruff low sound in her throat then turned to watch the other cat pad up. A cheetah, well at least it isn't a lion. "What do you want?" She questoned gruffly turning her head forward and watching the distance.
Chobi: The female stiffened at the others tone, was she interrupting?
"What are you doing?" The female titled her head at the leopard , taking a seat in a nice safe distance. Pilate tilted her head.
Hopefully the leopard would let her join in.

Randeh:
The leopard made a show of sniffing the ground pretending to be busy before glancing over at the young cheetah. Her ears twitched slightly and she lifted her head. "I'm hunting. What are you doing here?"
Chobi: Ohhh hunting! It all made sense now, the weird behavior. Pilate's ears shot up.
"You're hunting?" The females voice was just a little bit more then peppy some how. "I thought you were playing. Why are you hunting out here... there isnt anything worth the effort for miles."

Randeh: The leopardess paused then frowned. "No I don't play." She said crossly thinking out what to do. She was starving. Her cubs were starving. She needed food now. "Do you know where good hunting grounds are? Where I can get food?"
Chobi: The cheetah nodded , getting up as she did so. She knew these lands like the back of her paw. After all, this was where her and her small make shift family lived. She had to know the good places.
"Its to late out now for the good things to be out in these fields." She explained to the leopardess, "You can follow me~" She chimed and started off.

Randeh: She could tell she was going to regret this. She pushed herself forward into following the cheetah. He sniffed and padded after her at a steady gate. "Thank you..." She responded looking forward. "I haven't eaten for a few days."
Chobi: The cheetah frowned at this bit of information. Pilate was a bit of a glutton her self, and she had four little ones. She hated to think of anyone having to go with out.
Though realistically even pilate and her cubs went with out food for a few days. You couldn't command food to appear on will in Africa after all. Rahvu, her lion mate, helped her out quite a bit. Pilate would have been up the creek with out a paddle if he hadn't agreed to help her with cubs that weren't even his.
But thats another story.
"No one should ever be with out food.."

Randeh: "Hunting is harder with brats." She answered as she moved to catch up with the cheetah. One of the 'brats' kicked and she let out a small growl of discomfort. Not long now. Not long at all. She'd have to find a den. "You know this place. How far is a safe place, water, and food? I don't have a mate." Desperation was forcing her to ask for help.
Chobi: The cheetah hadn't noticed she was carrying, and still didnt notice. Pilate was oblivious , it was just her nature.
"Hmmm?" The cheetah gave the leopard a glance over her shoulder as she weaved. "There's a good bit of water around here and game. Its been a pleasant place to live." She had to say. There hadn't been any reason for the cheetah to leave at least.
They were getting closer and closer to a group of antelop that were grazing in a small cluster. Pilate slowed down and got into her hunters mode. She was playful, but Pialte was a hunger at heart.

Randeh: The leopardess listened carefully and gave a nod. "I need to see the water when we're done."
She noticed the antalope and shifted her gaze to the cheetah. She mimiced the younger female's stance and started to creep forward. She felt a kick and it forced her to move closer with a very low growl. "The old one. In the back." She whispered.
Chobi: The cheetah nodded and set her sights on the older prey. Pilate followed the leopards lead, watching her movements closely so that she didn't start off after the prey to soon.
This was serious after all.

Randeh: Olayinka was more experinced just heavier and lacking energy. It didn't take them long in the darkness to get close to the older impala. By the time the other's became wise to the predators the older one was staring death in the face his eyesight confusing him. He bolted and Olayinka lept at him.
Chobi: The cheetah followed the leopards lead, only instead of attacking, she blocked the creatures path. This prey was as good as dead. Their was no way it was going to be able to fight off two big cats.
The cheetha swiped at its face.

Randeh:Startled by the cheetah suddenly in its way the impla rose up on its hind legs. This gave Olayinka the chance she needed. She jumped again pouncing on the shoulders and digging in to the neck with her fangs bringing it down with her weight. Once it landed she bit harder holding it down.
It didn't take long for it to still. She lifted her head to look at the cheetah, panting heavily. "...Come on. We'll share it."
Chobi: The cheetah shook her head.
"Thank you but I'll decline this time. You need it." The cheetah offered the other a wink, "Sides whos gonna watch for scavengers if we both eat?"
Pilate turned her back on the female and did just that , watched for scavengers.

Randeh: ".....thank you. I'm sure the brats thank you too." She was starting to believe that she'd been wrong about other spieces. She'd been helped by a hyena, a cheetah, and numberous other creatures. She snorted. Getting soft in her pregency. The sooner he got rid of the brats the better. Instict drove her to eat, to protect them, but that would only last until she gave birth. Or at least that's what she told herself.
