Desdemona was sound asleep, her paws curled under her, her chin resting on her golden bangle. It was so strange that Frost did not enter her dreams as often as the strange colorful shapes did. She had often wondered why her mate would not have been the foremost in her mind. She adored him, and she was certain she must have always adored him. They had been happy hadn't they? That was what Frost told her so often, and she believed him, and she loved him.
Yet in her dreams...it was the colorful blurs she remembered, not Frost, though there were splashes of brilliant blue. Memories of water and color, the scent of fish and the burning sensation of moisture in her nose. A bright red shape led her, she respected it...and then it was all gone in a whirl of darkness.
Darkness and water, she woke then suddenly startled by her own dream turned nightmare. Her ears perked and she peered about for Frost like a frightened pup trying to locate a source of comfort.

He was a decieftful male. Truly despicable if one was to find out his plot in life. He had tricked the poor female, and she had fallen for it so easily, he had begun to not care about the trickery.. Merely caring about whether or not he would get laid that night, and if it would be Desdemona that would be the one to satiate his needs. But he loved the girl, somewhere deep in his cold heart.. She was the only one he didnt want knowing about the she-wolves on the side. She was the one female he had considered a mate..Whereas the rest of the females were nothing more than passing the time.
He had just left the den of a pretty little she-wolf. Bright purple in color, and dark blue stripes that danced across her body. She was a sexy little thing, and he enjoyed having his way with her. Though he would never return to sample her charms again. Once he had you, he was done. All except Desi, whom he had begun to love in his own way. The brother of Twist, was incapable of love, or so he had always thought. He had certainly never believed that he would even take someone as his mate. She would never find out of his excursions, as he was quite careful about scents and such. If anyone ever found out, the sly boy would have tot ell them. And he did not plan on it.
Wagging his tail as he walked into the den he shared with his female, he smiled. He did not portray a suspicious look, but a genuine look of happiness that touched his maw ever so slightly.
"Whats wrong, my princess?"

Desdemona quickly leapt up and pressed against Frost as he entered, despite his cold name he warmed her to the core. He was the only anchor she had sometimes when she felt confused and lost. The dream, no the nightmare had left her feeling that way, confused and lost. She didn't want to feel so afraid, what was there to fear? She was with her mate again, they were happy, so why did she get such bad feelings in the pit of her stomach sometimes?
She nuzzled the pale blue fur of his neck with a soft happy whimper glad he was back. "It was nothing, only a little nightmare, I'm just glad to see you now. How was the hunt my love?" She tipped her head curiously her amber eyes trustingly gazing at him. Her pelt rippled, the blue hue always shiny as if she had just emerged from the waters.

He smiled, standing tall as if he was the cats meow. He was always so vain, but he knew that he would never change. He was full of himself.. In his eyes, after the hard life he had put up with, he deserved to be vain.. He deserved everyone to know he was the one that they needed to be looking up to.
"No more bad dreams, darling. They do nothing for your stress level.. Or mine for that matter." He muttered the last line rather under his breath, though he felt sure she had not heard him..He was good at muttering, and getting away with it.
"The hunt? Oh. Yes, the hunt was a sham. I have returned with nothing, and for that.. I must apologize." He charmed, before sliding up to her and giving her a nuzzle.
"But if you should like to hunt with me tonight once your belly is hungry, then I shall take you hunting, and we shall not fail." He assured.

"I know, I do try and put them out of my mind, their so strange..." She murmured and trailed off not wanting to dwell further on the swirling colors. She smiled as he moved closer, she didn't care if he hadn't caught anything, she was just glad he was back with her. Dear Frost, her dear frost, what would she do without him, she might still be lost, confused, and wandering if he hadn't found her. It made her nervous when he went off, she still felt...lost, but he was back now and offering to take her on the hunt!
"You apologize? Never!" Her tail wagged as she licked his muzzle softly. "We'll go together, and nothing will escape us, we'll feast!" She smiled and nudged him wanting to cheer him up and as much as he cheered her up.

She kept him easily with her eagerness to please him. It wasnt something he was used to before her.. He liked it all too well. His smile crept onto his face, as he leaned over to lick her cheek and give her a little of the affection he had reserved specially for her.
No matter how many females the male had been with that morning, he still was ready to love on the one that had stolen his heart. He'd hate to hurt her, but his ways just couldnt be tamed it seemed.
"So what shall we do today, miss nightmare." He sighed, and nuzzled her again, using his paw to bring her closer.

She smiled and let her tail waver in pleasure as he licked her cheek, he was the perfect male in her eyes. Nothing could convince her otherwise, Frost was her rock, her salvation in a world where she often felt strange and adrift. She leaned into him and nuzzled his neck allowing his paw to move her. He could have pushed her in the river and she would have fallen in to please him.
His sigh made her flick her tongue against his muzzle trying to erase the discomfort her nightmare had caused him. She had to try and keep her mind away from such dark thoughts. "You could teach me how to be as quiet as you are, I never even hear you come up until your on me." She smiled.
