It was five days after the full moon and it was also the second day of Imbog, a pagan holiday that celebrated new beginnings, it revels to those who celebrate it that winter is slowly coming to an end and spring is right around the corner. High in the sky tiny clouds float and birds filter in and out of view; there was no wind, the day was still and the sun shown down in hot rays. If one was to see the place, they would not believe it was still winter, but a warm day in spring.
A silent grey four winged Soquili stood directly under the sun that hung in the sky, basking in its rays, she was standing in a golden field of wheat grass; in the far off distance the faint dark outline of the forest could be seen and behind her the sparkle of the lake as the sun’s light reflected off the surface of the water. In the silence of the day it was easy to hear the small splashing from the fish as they jumped out of the water and dove back in to the cool waters. That was heard along with the high pitched squawking of dark colored ducks with glowing red eyes as they communicated with each other.
Isabliss let her mind wander; the peacefulness of the day made her dream, but not sleep; she suffered from Insomnia, yet she gained power from the lack of sleep. It never affected her in a negative way, through all her travels, she was able to enter the land of dreams by just closing her grey eyes and after those visits she always felt refreshed, renewed, just like a new day.

High in the sky, a white and gray spotted mare drifted from view and back into hiding behind the clouds. It was a lovely day to go flying, especially with the warm sun so bare to the earth below. If the mare felt too warm, she could easily drift into a small cloud and take comfort in the cool fluffiness before reentering into the comforting warmth of the sun on her back. This day was quite the treasure, considering it was still considered winter. It got her excited for the season of spring, knowing this was only a precursor to what was to come.
As the mare continued to soar the skies, her gaze turned downwards to the earth below her. Her gray eyes shone with awe and happiness, taking in the golden hues of the fields below her. She could only feel the bubbling excitement for spring when the land would be so colorful and bright! A figure caught her eye and curiosity. She stood out and contrasted with the golden fields behind her. She was quite the dark, mysterious beauty that in her perspective had a golden sheen from the golden fields and the sun beaming down on her. It was such a beautiful sight. Her curiosity got the best of her, considering she had not seen someone of the same breed in quite a long time.
Slowly the mare descended down to the golden fields, trying not to alarm the mare too much at the rate of her decline nor her proximity. She hit the ground with grace, and giggled a bit as the golden wheat parted for her form brushing against her legs and underbelly, giving her the sensation of being tickled. Slowly and cautiously, the mare approached the dark mare wondering what she would be like.

There was a soft giggle from behind the grey mare, and the brushing of tall grass against a solid body. The steps came slow and cautiously closer to Isabliss, who continued to stand with her eyes closed, listening to the world around her. She took in a deep meditative breath and with a sleepy movement slowly opened one of her grey eyes, then turned to face the Soquili that was walking up behind her. The Angeni of Insomnia found herself gazing at a white grey speckled Angeni mare with light green and purple wings. It had been a while since Isabliss had laid eyes upon another Angeni like herself; the mare in front of her was beautiful with her thick wings that reminded Isabliss of Swan wings in appearance, but not in color. She had the same leg feathering as Isabliss had herself; around the mare’s neck rested a dream catcher, Isabliss could not help but smile.
“Hello my kin of flight, lovely day we are having are we not? It is hard to believe that it is still winter and that we have not yet felt the kiss of spring.” The sleepless mare looked with eyes half closed at the mare standing before her. Isabliss took a second to pause as she searched her memory; the grey and purple Angeni mare soon realized that the mare standing before was the first mare that Isabliss had met of her own kind. It was a pleasant surprise to the constantly traveling mare; after all the time she had spent wandering the world, she had finally been able to meet a mare with four sets of wings. Isabliss turned her smile from the mossy green dream catcher to the owner with the thick swan style wings.
“I am called Isabliss; might I inquire what it is you are called?”

(( Ack! Sorry. I didn't mean for Aleshanee's giggle to be audible because she is silent. @w@))
With the turn of the mare's head, Aleshanee smiled brightly, not realizing she gave her position away as she approached the mare. Maybe she was a bit loud, or the sound of the grass moving beneath her gave her away. It didn't matter, it just ruined the element of surprise. Her expression and aura shone with happiness with hints of excitement in her body language. She had never met another angeni mare before on Soquili Lands. Her gray eyes took in the mare before her, and studied her. She was lovely, and felt the fleeting hint of admiration for her beauty. The mare had lovely thick hair, accented by interesting accessories. Her coat reminded her of a storm or a tornado, and yet, she looked soft and not harsh like the weather conditions would portray. She couldn't help but also notice the mare's sluggish movements, and wondered if the other mare was fairing well.
Her ears perked up, and listened to the darker mare. Her head nodded in agreement, loving the sunny weather. It always felt good to fly when it was sunny and slightly brisk cold outside. The sun would melt away the cool air, leaving her feeling tingly and refreshed. With the next statement, the mare visibly saddened. All of the different forms of wings on her body visibly drooped. Her expression looked strained and sad. She shook her head, not having the capability to share her name vocally with the other mare without breaking her oath. She had taken an oath of silence as an act of discipline and the attempt to understand silence. Through this, she would be able to understand silence, and learn how to communicate to God and others on a more spiritual level.

Calm, quiet, and peaceful were all words to describe the lake and land around the two mare Angenis. The soft sound of lapping waves on the shore of the lake was heard as the two mares basked in the rays of the golden sun high above their heads. Indeed it was a rare day in winter. Isabliss stood silently, letting the long grass tickle her legs as she watched the light colored mare with her grey eyes. The mare nodded at Isabliss’ comments about the strange beautiful weather that the valley was having. A saddened look crossed the lighter colored mare’s countenance when it was her turn to supply a name. This made the dark grey Angeni take pause, for some reason or other, her new companion of flight could not speak. Isabliss smiled at the silent mare, this was something she had yet to encounter on all her journeys following the North Wind.
“Please do not be sad at my question, it truly is okay. You are silent for a reason and I would not want to ruin what you try so hard to achieve.”
Isabliss went silent for a few moments of time, pondering over her next set of words, “I would very much like to learn what you are called. Would there be, by chance, a way for me to guess what it may be? Or would that be too complicated? I hope this does not seem too brash, if so, I really do apologize.”
The dark grey mare enjoyed new experiences and meeting new Soquili, that is why the need to travel with the North Wind did not affect or bother her as much as it would many others. All the lands and Soquili she had seen. Amazing colors, strange plants, and exotic creatures were only a few of the benefits of her traveling. But never before had she met a mare who was like her. Stallions yes, although it was not the same because of their masculinity issues, to put it nicely.

Listening to the natural noises of the land before them, the mare relaxed with the calming effect of water lapping onto the shore and the soft noise of grass brushing up against each other. She was happily content with the natural noise that the Gods bestowed all living things to listen and learn from. The disruption of a voice had her averting her attention back to the mare before her.
Nodding her head in understanding, the mare softly smiled at the other angeni mare. She was happy the mare was understanding, and that brightened her mood. Listening to the mare again, her eyes widened. She pondered whether or not it would be easy. She knew what her name meant, and illustrating it might be easy, but the language of her name might be hard to get.
Smiling brightly, the mare took off a couple steps away from the mare before nosing the mare on the shoulder before running off again. Taking a "bowing" pose, she looked up at the mare expectantly to play tag with her. She stood back up and frolicked in place waiting for the mare to catch up.

Isabliss would follow her companion’s example, remaining silent until it was time to attempt to guess the light grey mare’s name. Quiet sounds whispered on the soft breeze; sounds that could only be heard when one took the time to listen. The world created its own music, and it was up to those who lived in the world to listen and admire the beautiful song.
Learning the mare’s name seemed like a fun challenge to Isabliss and she was glad the mare had agreed to illustrate her name; this was a new experience for Isabliss and it was one that she would not be forgetting any time soon. She did not even know where to start and she was worried that she would not be able to guess the mare’s name, but she pushed aside the doubt; she did not know what the future held.
The dark grey mare watched the light grey mare with interest as she frolicked on the plains, it was clear that the silent mare wanted Isabliss to follow. A smile crossed the darker angeni’s countenance as she followed suit, her legs enjoying the feel of the leaps into the air and landing with a soft thud; it was like she was dancing with the breeze.

Aleshanee smiled appreciatively at the other mare seeing that she was enjoying the sounds that could only be heard when one took the time to listen. The sounds around them often soothed the mare, and helped her in understanding the world around them. It made her more aware of her surroundings and what certain circumstances sound like.
The mare’s tail would bounce with every step she took, appearing like a spring that had been pulled down before returning upwards. When she watched the mare finally follow in suit, the mare took off in a dash. Her light and smaller than average frame rushed towards the forest. She stopped behind a large tree trunk, and peered behind it to see if the mare was going to approach her. Tucking her wings tightly against her back, the mare tried to compact her body as much as possible. A bright grin settled on her face, enjoying this little game of tag.

Free, who would have thought that silence could set one free? The quiet beauty of the world was finally being noticed and spoke softly though the breeze, expressing its gratitude. Isabliss wanted to laugh aloud in the joyful exuberance, but she kept silent, the promise floating before her. It felt good to run, to be free of any cares, and to be silent. The world has told many stories, but most living creatures were just too loud to listen.
A smile formed on the angeni’s countenance as she chased after the other mare hiding behind the tree, she had not played like since she was a young foal who did not have a care in the world. Isabliss, on quiet hooves approached the tree, listening to the soft breathing of the other mare. The angeni peeked her head around the tree and smiled at the light grey angeni.

Aleshanee had drawn her head back behind the tree, not realizing the mare was coming for her. It wasn't until she saw the other angeni mare gazing at her that she looked surprised and shocked. Her head wings flared up as if they were saying, "Oh no!". The mare had to get away from the other angeni mare. She was gonna get her!
Dashing away from her spot, the mare bounded off towards a random direction since the other mare had yet to tag her yet. A big smile was plastered on her face with how much fun she was having.

Silver eyes watched as the other mare fled, not wanting to be tagged, laughter twinkled in her eyes at the game of chase before her. With a skill much practiced throughout all her travels, Isabliss followed the other mare with acquired grace, avoiding trees that hid the other mare from view; she ran after her, and it felt as if her feet were not even touching the ground, for she was elated in her happiness. Years seem to fall away from the Angeni and the sense of child wonder filled her as she play a game of tag with her new silent friend.
