Chobi
The pups had been born healthy, all seven of them. There wasn't a hair out of place on any of their heads. The whole lot was bouncy and bright and more importantly, they were going to be alright.

Vila hated to give them all away but she knew that their life here would be easier then traveling around with her. It was for the best after all.

She'd sent a bird to go fetch Xx'a. She wanted him to be the one to take the puppies from her.

All the puppies still had their eyes closed and their bright fur was just now starting to come in. Vila smiled down at them.

"Im sorry young ones.." The hyena nuzzled the closest one to her.

Seaki
Xx'a had spent much of his time dwelling upon life and its structure since Vilagos had become pregnant with his pups, simply staring over the water lost in thoughts. He knew she was really close, especially with the last onversation they had together - one where he had, with the help of Vilagos, told his courted about the pups.

The sighted of a bird broke him of his musings, and upon listening to it's message, he practically bolted away, finding his way to the bright female's den.

He stopped just at it's entrance, halting with an abupt jerk and hesitated at its entrance. "Vila," he said in a low voice, shifted with a cautious step forward, eyes suddenly shaded by the lip of the den.

Chobi
The females head lifted, Xx'a had come and wasted no time. She smiled at that.

"The pups are born," She whispered. The litter laid all around her clinging to her body for warmth. It had only been a few days since Vila had birthed all seven. An impressive number.

"Xx'a ... " She smiled, "You still plan to take them?"

Seaki
Xx'a gave a small smile and creeped closer to the new mother, looking down at the pups with bright smiling eyes, tracing over the forms, counting them. Seven? He had seven children? He looked down at the bright tufted fur proudly - proud of his small children and the wonderful woman who had birthed them.

"They're beautiful," he said in a hushed voice, a smile gracing his maw.

Red eyes looked back at splotched mother. He lowered his head to her questioned. "I will, unless you have changed your mind," he told her sincerally. He didn't wish to rip the pups away from a mother that wished to keep them close.

Chobi
Vila gave him a soft smile, "I've already made up my mind." There was no way she was gonna let these innocent pups face the harsh reality of living on their own. This was for the best after all. Thats whha she kept saying over and over in her head.

The memory of seeing how happy the pups had played free of any worry made her happy. This was the best place for them.

"Thank you..."

Seaki
Xx'a didn't know the reason he accepted the fact so readily - perhaps the constant thought of it, or the acceptance before hand. He really didn't know, but he simply nodded. The small smile grew a little and he looked lovely colored bundles, studying their colors.

"Tan...?" He said mostly to himself. He could understand the darkly colored femle - it could come in as dark blue after all. But... tan? Well, it could come from her line, after all... Or his further back, but he quirked a smile at the pups, and looked back towards Vila, diverting his thoughts.

"Will you come back to see them in the future?"

Chobi
Vila nodded, disreguarding his comment about tan. She had been born in the lab and seperated from her parents at a very young age. Maybe one of her parents had been tan.

Who really knew.

"I'll come back some day. I can't say when though, " She tilted her head up at the male.

"You sure you're alright with this. Parent hood."

Seaki
The dark male simply gave a nod at her response, glad she would see the progress of her cubs, even if they would not know that the bright female was their mother.

Red eyes bore into orange. "I'm quite alright with it!" he told her in an esctatic, though hushed tone, not wishing to wake the sleeping pups. "I've always wanted a family," he told her, honestly.

Chobi
"Thats good," She smiled and looked back down at the blind pups. One of hte pups with mostly pink came in opened her maw and gave a little yawn.

"I think everything is gonna be just alright," Vila whispered. Alright in deed. Safe. They were safe.

"I can help you carry them back to your den. Im able to walk, and seven at one time is a load."

Seaki
Xx'a lowered his head and nodded, thowing Vila a small grateful look, one of closeness and happiness, and so many emotions, both good and bad swirled together. "Are you sure you're okay to walk?"

He shifted on his paws a bit. "And how shall we move them?"

Chobi
The female nodded, she'd be fine moving them. Slowly the female shifted to her paws. A few of the puppies whined in protest as she moved, but Vila paid no mind.

"Lets move these little ones quickly before they get cold. You carry three on your back and one in your mouth, I'll carry two and one in my mouth." Vila was small for a female hyena. USually they tended to be alot larger then the male but Vila was pretty small. Mostly from being a lab raised hyena.

Hopefully the skills she'd learned in the pack over the time she spent with the wild dogs would help.

Seaki
Xx'a gave a nod, that was logical, he supposed. It could work... He nudged a pup, licking it on the head. He picked one up gently and settled it on the curve of his back that had since filled out nicely with the banding of the pack.

He was nervous though, muscles slightly quivering. What if he dropped one? What if...? The questions raced through his head.

He turned his gaze back to the remaining pups, only shooting a quick glance to Vila.

Chobi
Vila carefully picked up her share of the pups. The female was sure to be extra careful placement wise so that neither would fall off. Then she turned to the last pup and nabbed it up carefully. Not a bad job.

The female wasn't to worried, she was sure the two of them could get them over to Xx'as den with out any problems.

The female started off, slowly, making sure to keep her balance as she went along. Taking nice slow calculated steps.

Seaki
Xxa took a deep breath and placed the other two pups upon his back, letting them curl closer to each other, so they would no fall from it. Latsly, he picked up the remaining pup, and started off slowly, watching the ground for anything that would cause him to trip.

He saw his den ahead, barren but friendly looking in all senses of the word - small decorations and collected items shoved against the sides or pasted to the lip.

Chobi
Vila followed closely behind Xx'a, she knew this was for the best after all. The pups were going to their new life and she was about to head back to her old life.

Funny the way things tended to be ******** up like that.

She set the pups down very carefully when they reached the mouth of den, said her good byes and turned her back on the pups. They were in a better place now.
