I pretty much have the coolest friends ever. They spent two days making me a TARDIS cake for my birthday:

And, YES, THE LIGHT BLINKS. They ran wires through the middle of the cake.

That's really cool! I want the TARDIS to be my Groom's cake for my wedding and I want it to be blue velvet cake to match the TARDIS. biggrin
