My friend recently lent me the game Mass Effect and I'm already falling in love with it. It's awesome! Has anyone else played it?
Haha I'm so happy the 2nd one just came out so once I'm finished the first one I can start playing the second one right away xd

Christienjinn I started it but did not get hooked, I'm afraid. thats the way the first one was for me. but since I've liked all of biowares other games, i tried Mass Effect 2 and loved it.

I was a big fan of Bioware to begin with so I fell in love with Mass Effect immediately. The dialogue was handled nicely (which I love in a game) and the story and lore were surprisingly well put together. Combat system was interesting also. However, I couldn't bring myself to romance any of the party members. I thought they were better left as friends. So my commander will just have to be single until I play the second Mass Effect. emo

The dialogue was handled nicely (which I love in a game) and the story and lore were surprisingly well put together. Combat system was interesting also. Maybe I should find a face replacement mod... Hmm. :3 Speaking about Carth Onasi, it was so sad when you play Kotor 2 and encounter Carth overlooking something. He mentions ' waiting' for someone to come back... I assumed it was female Revan from the first game. (Although, maybe this scene isn't exact.... It's been so long since I've played!)

While revisiting Mass Effect, hearing Kaiden's voice again caused me to reconsider the romance storyline. Looks like my femShep won't be single after all. :3 Though, femShep romance scene dialogue is slightly annoying at times. When I see a dialogue option like ' Shephard? How informal...', I interpret the line as ' Keep it up wink '. However the game interprets the line as ' YOU SHOULD ADDRESS ME AS COMMANDER talk2hand '. She's so serious. emo That's right! Good on you for remembering the dialogue! It was neat. whee
