Here is the area that we allow all of the cats to interact. They are put together so we can study them interacting with one another, and see how the disabled cope with their problems before they are put down.

All cats have roughly half an hour a day if they are healthy and disease free. This gated-in, heavy-security room is inside the facility with minimal windows and doors so no cats can escape.

We also put small instruments, televisions, different games and toys for the cats to play with, and see how they act around each object individually. There are no humans inside the room with the cats during Recreation.

[All RP is based on before they escape, but after their testing, so they have their disabilities. If you want other cats to interact with please PM Nikui and she will play NPC cats from the facility.]

Odette hesitantly made her way towards the adjacent corner of the room. She weaved her way between toys to a comfortable place by herself in a corner. Odette was still unsure of what was going on. One day she had been minding her own business when a group of violent kids had hit her with.........something. At least that's what she thought. It was all a bit foggy. And then there was blackness.... and the next she awoke surrounded by strange humans. On top of that, she could no longer hear out of her left ear. She silently wished Amaranth was there. Ammy was her best friend. She knew a lot about humans, she hated them so. And Odette was beginning to see why. The more she looked around at the other cats with various disabilities. 'Why were they being kept here?' she wondered. 'What did the humans want?'

Ione curled up under a large stuffed bear, shutting herself off from everything else in the room. She had been avoiding everything more and more, retreating further into herself as a means of escaping the harsh reality around her. She had chosen this hiding place not because of any illusion of safety, but because it didn’t hurt as much. Lately, everything seemed to be more vivid, the floor colder, needles more painful, the hands of the bastards who ran this place warmer as they manhandled her from one room to the next. When the testing began she was revolted at what was being done to everyone, even more so, knowing that this was the same thing had happened to SunBae and his siblings. As time had progressed, physical sensations became increasingly stronger and in response she had drawn into herself, her anger and determination to be free of this place the two pillars keeping her from collapsing in on herself. The bear was soft, and she thought of SunBae, where he was now, and her parents and brothers and sister. The bear was also a little smothering, and she had started to overheat, having been under the large plush for a few minutes. Wriggling out from underneath it, she turned and bit down into its neck, venting some of her frustration. This wasn’t enough, however, and soon she was pummeling the stuffed animal, beating out her anger into its stomach.

With Kinley, there was no hesitation or nervousness. No, the male was rambunctious and noisy - at least when there were no humans around. Currently, he was busy playing with a small stuffed cat, talking to it and holding an earnest conversation, albiet one-sided. He waved his hands around wildly, obviously having some kind of argument with the stuffed animal. Any of the other cats who were looking on must have thought he was mad. Of course, that wasn't so. At least...mostly. No, Kinley was simply lonely. His tendency to catch sight of things that weren't there and pounce at them scared other cats, especially when he disjointedly tried to explain them afterwards. This, combined with his exuberant and noisy personality kept most cats away.

Of course...how much of that was intentional? Kinley had been friends with many cats over the time he had been here - most of which had dissapeared, not to return. So he was, in a way, happier with his stuffed friend - she at least, would not dissapear. Unless of course someone destroyed her, or she got eaten, or or or- Kinley stopped talking mid-sentence, grabbing the plushie with his right hand. His left hand was missing his thumb, leaving only a stump. Whilst he had adjusted well, he used his right hand mainly, despite being naturally left-handed.
