Well, do you make your own? Or do you purchase or commission them? I've been sewing my Seams new clothes during my winter break and was wondering what you guys are up to. This is one of my first attempts at a shirt, a soft green hoodie. He is a show off, but a lovely one. Next I want to make him a Slytherin Hogwarts uniform, maybe a Gryffindor one too. I'll sell them if they come out nice. I'm also curious where you guys buy your doll wigs? I'm dying to to find a smooth blonde wig for Seams so he can cosplay Link from the Legend of Zelda. Any advice here?

i sew and buy my SD clothes. i can make skirts very well lol i'm going to make pants, 2 night gowns, 2 PJs, and a crap load of kimonos over the winter break. i'm trying to draw out a pattern for some dresses and i'm working on pin tucks ( scream ) evil little things.
have you tried looking on the Volks website or Luts for wigs? i know Volks has a short wig but it has two toned hair (really awesome i almost bought it when i was at Tenshi no Sumika LA) good luck on finding a wig for your boy! i buy most of my wigs from Volks or Doll Heart (i love Volks wigs)

I've only bought a skirt from a girl on DoA, and a hoodie from BittenBefore. All the rest of Ko's wardrobe I've made (save his basicoutfit he came with.) Outfits usually take me 1/2 days to complete, due to a LOT of distraction, but its worth it x3 And all of Ko's wigs I've gotten from AR, hope you manage to find a nice blond wig, that'd be adorable <3

Damn he's pretty. surprised Thanks for the Hound fix.
I WANT MY BOY TO COME. ;-;
But yeah. If I'm not lazy or too busy with cosplay, I make doll clothes. Otherwise I buy them, or have them in what they came with/a mix of everything. :3

I am really cheap... so unless I can't make it or think I'd make it badly and I really want it, I make it myself ^__^ unfortunely I've been really lazy lately, so my big kids have almost nothing in their wardrobe... crying

I wish I could sew, but I can't. That's why my I asked my Nan to help me make them. She's gonna teach me how to use a sewing machine too. I just have to find some good patterns. Luckly I ordered a load of clothes when I purchased my boy, so he won't be nakie when he arrives. I bought 3 outfits and 2 pairs of shoes for him xp

Ahahaha. I can't sew crying I just tried. I now have a shirt that is both too small and too big at the same time. I'm considering a few alternatives to get this to work. I want a some grommet(sp?) plier thingies so I can lace things up. I hate zippers. XD

I sew...always...I'm pretty damn good at it when I get off of my a** and actually finish a project. All of my girls clothing is hand sewn and It gives me a ton of practice for when I get around to making my Renfest/Dagorhir outfit.
BTW, your Hound is shmexy. Lock him up or I may steal him ninja .

I have a pocket fairy and it's kinda hard to sew for one so tiny. I only have one pattern and I have just about got it down pat (I've made about 3 or 4 dresses from it). I'm hoping to branch out and get more patterns soon. Maybe (Barbie) Kelly has patterns for her that I could adjust to fit the chubbier pocket fairy body. Aside from stock clothes and the few dresses I've made, I commission my clothes and buy other stock outfits.

It would be futile for me to buy clothes without a doll, but I'm sure that's the route I'll go. I can make basic things like scarves, blankets, and various toys and accessories, but clothing manufacture and I have yet to understand one another.

I make all my own doll clothes and also sell clothes on commission. I have yet to buy any clothing items for my dolls, though the poor girls are she=less so perhaps I should at least do that. Shoes are the one thing I can't make.

Key's clothes have been from Luts, ebay or I've had them made for me. I can't sew at all but I'm hoping to learn once my sister comes back from Iraq. She's offered to teach me and she's shown interest in making doll clothes so Key would get to be her model.
